I know next to nothing about Price, but it's sad none the less.
The only song I know of his is Purple Rain; and it's become an in-joke with my best friend. When we were first becoming friends, He was telling about some band he liked called Deep Purple, or something of that ilk. And I kept jokingly telling him, he's just thinking of Purple Rain by Prince. He would roll his eyes and keep talking. I put the song on his phone without him realizing it, and when we went out driving, I blasted in his car. When the song plays on the radio at work, I'll text him and let me know it reminds me of him, and he'll do the same.
If it wasn't for the song 'Peaches' by POTUS and out near death experience with it, Purple Rain would be our song.

It was the Summer after Graduation in High School; there were a lot of Grad Parties during this time and one weekend had 4-5. Living near my now best friend and lacking my own vehicle, we were riding together. We had just spent the second night at someone's house and we were beat, but had more parties to attend to! Especially considering this was a pool party, and all the cute girls we know were going to be there. (My crush at the time had a bathing suit on that was 2 sizes too small~) We had to stop at his house, so we could shower and get our bathing suits and stuff; but on the way there we just started blasting music. It was just whatever we felt like, screaming the music in delirium, and then Peaches played. We both loved the song separately, but didn't know the other loved it; so after we finished our duet, we were laughing our asses off and talking about the song. Neither of us honestly thought what was the song was about, so I looked it up on my phone. They've changed the page now, but Wikipedia had a literal breakdown of every line of the song, using complex vernacular to describe it. We thought it was the funniest thing ever, and were laughing so hard my buddy wasn't paying attention to the road. We're 3-4 cars away from an intersection, laughing, but some jackass drove through the red light. Everyone in front of us slammed on their breaks, included the huge ass truck in front of us that dwarfed our car, and my buddy realized it just in time to slam on his breaks, he even had to turn the car a bit now to ram into him.
Near Death experience is probably a little, exaggerated, but we almost ended up in the ditch on the road trying not to crash into the truck. Now whenever I hear Peaches, it reminds me of almost dying with my best friend.
