I've been avoiding my usual boards in order to avoid spoilers, and I'll admit the novelty of posting entire threads of furry porn comics hasn't quite worn off yet.

My home board is still /x/, but since this board was made I've been contributing here more than there. There's nothing that would actually put me here; I'm not a Furry or Brony, I don't participate in the Hunger Games threads or the avatar circle-jerks. It's just that most of what I could do on /x/, I've already done it several times. I could hang out on /pol/ or /r9k/, but they're too feely (angry/paranoid and depressed/resentful respectively). This board has vitality. It's as varied as /b/ without being super fast or infested with newfags.
I'm enjoying it, but some of the mods are spontaneously tight-assed.
I posted a pic of http://www.furaffinity.net/user/svadil/ in another thread, and I got a 24-hour ban for violating rule 3. I can only assume that the mod thought I was posting underaged something or other. Which is dumb because the character is clearly adult (just that he's a twink).
Meanwhile there are tons of Cutie Mark Crusaders and underaged sonic characters being posted all over the place, with no bans being dished out. It's arbitrary as all hell.
It's not active enough, but it feels nostalgic and comfy.

This site has always been like that. Enforcement of the rules is spotty because it's always understaffed, and the mods and janitors are biased. It's still better than the alternatives.
