With a few more twists of the wrench you sealed off the last bend in the pipes.
"Hey Full Blast," you called on the radio to the control room. "We should be all good up in number 12. That was the last one right?"
The radio cracks back, "Yup lets get these back online to relieve some of the stress on the other pumps."
With a shudder and a hum the pipes spring to life next to you their thick payload being pumped up the building to the top level. Wiping the sweat off your brow you hope that was the last emergency for the day. Heading back out to the hallway you made your way to the elevator. As you hit the button to head back to the base floor a deep rumble echoed through the building and the floor and walls shook. The lights flickered and dimmed. Your radio cracked again.
"Damn it, I think that quake damaged a transformer on floor 5. Can you get down and take a look at it?" Full Blast groaned over the radio. "Turning those pumps back on must have upset something in their stomachs. Thankfully those shock absorbers worked otherwise we might have a whole floor collapsing."
