May is still chattering on, but Mel has taken up the job of talking to her. Though she seems far more taken with talking to the little girl. They're a lot friendlier with each other than you would have expected. At least that soon after the kid was pretty shitty.

A brick cracks under their foot as they launch into you. You can practically feel the dull reaction time as you drag your weapon to defend yourself.
The woman's own knife stops before it contacts your own as she spins towards the ground, planting her hand to drive a kick into your stomach. The movement also let Mel's latest arrow sweep over her back.
As you feel the impact push, you decide to pull an Ironwood and grasp the woman's ankle, tugging her along.
"Mh?!" She balances atop you midair, jumping off towards Mel, snatching yet another arrow mid travel before landing in front of the faunus. The two exchange arms and legs for a moment. Mel fights very similarly to the woman. You honestly figured she'd fight a bit like Chloe, but you don't get that feeling at all.
After a moment, the two of them stop, neither having landed a clean blow. Mel folds her arms. She's got an irritable look on her face as the garbed woman jumps back down to you.
You get the feeling you just lost your assist.

Her skin a good deal paler, she shares Izzy's expression when upset. The dimples, the brow crease, even the eye color. It's a little awkward.

You do your best to avoid taking Chloe's stance. No reason to give that away. You decide to try a standard boxing stance. You feel stiff like this, but it's enough.
Jill is avoiding your punches now. You can clearly see her eyes following your fists through their motions. Her own blows are hardly bothering you. She's taking her time though, her aggressive movements slowly ceasing. She's trying to draw you into her pace.
