Last I heard, CC2 was working on the FFVII Remake for PS4.
They've certainly come a long way since Tail Concerto, but I'd love to see them come back to LTB.

It's a game by Cyberconnect2 (The .hack and Ninja Storm guys) that is a spiritual sequel to their first game Tail Concerto. Gameplay wise it's not really a masterpiece, but the story is surprisingly good (though takes a bit to pick up), the characters are likeable and the world is surprisingly in-depth. I personally recommend it if you don't mind button mashing. It's a pretty rewarding experience.
Little Tail Bronx is the name of the series it's part of which comprises Solatorobo, Tail Concerto and a safety mascot named Mamoru-kun. For the most part they involve cute kemos, floating islands, and robots.

Honestly i think that their change/realization was a bit too sudden, they could have dropped a few hints that the two had some good in them before the final fight against the duo.

You should go for the digitigrade. I think they're like that in the original artworks by Nobutery Yuki, just look at Elh's boots. They're too small for being plantigrade.
Caninus on the other hand are clearly plantigrade (or a mix of the two, I dunno)
It's the game that definitely brought me into furry/kemono, at the time I only wanted to pirate a game on my R4 to spend the time in summer vacation when I would be bored.
