There isn't an actual appeal, to be honest the show is boring as fuck and the only objective reason for anyone to stick around is to see their waifu animated in order to establish another facet of her existence. That is literally it.

I used the wikipedia entry for the Korean alphabet to try decoding this myself. I think the last two letters are Yossi's name, and the first one came out as "versus" in google translate. When I put the whole thing together it was "rental city", then I put a space between 대 and 여시 and got "for yeosi". Yeosi, presumably, being a romanization of Yossi.
