It is pretty obvious that Lapis is a manipulative type, you don't need much to get that (I don't, at least).

Lapis Lazuli seems like a gem that suffered several times and in many different circumstances, she also look simple, but smart and knows that - sometimes - you need to turn the tides or you'll be engulfed by it. While she is pretty down to earth and somewhat pessimistic, Lapis knows she can change a situation to her favor or try to, when it's helpless and she can't run from it, transform and adapt. Is this evil? Who am I to judge, so far we've seen Kapis acting out of despair or self-defense (I don't count the leak Malachite fight because some context is needed). I may be babbling and hell, I'm sleepy as fuck, but I know she won't hurt Steven because she developed deep care for him

I want to be in school right now, but I can't afford it at all, so I'm paying rent to my parents and working.
Ideally, I'd be doing graphic design full time, but sadly that is not to be. My current job, with overnight differential, is $9.25/hr with anywhere my 20 - 40+ hours pending other workers. This new job is a 9-5 job with guaranteed 40 hours a week at $12/hr with a paid lunch and bonuses on sales. It's about about 40 min away compared to a 5 minute drive, but that's worth it in my book.
I still wish I could be doing the summer temp job I had right out of high school in 2014. Working with a government business, filing papers and helping out in the mail room for $15/hr. I could just sort through boxes and boxes of confidential government material while listening to Harry Potter audio books and sweating to death for 8 hours by myself. I mean, the bus trip was nearly 2 hours round trip, but other than that it was a wonderful time and I'd give up a lot to do that full time.
