I just play games that are heavily recommended to be played with a controller instead of mouse and keyboard, like Dark Souls 1 and 2: SotFS, or Resident Evil Remake/4/5/Revelations 1. I've only used it on one FPS game and that's Killing Floor 2, it works okay there but I much prefer M&K. Since I comes with XCOM 2, I would imagine that with a controller you'd basically be playing the same game except you can tilt back your chair and relax more. It's worth a purchase if you don't already have a controller, I'd say.
Oh yeah and it's awful for fighting games. Tried to play Skullgirls with it, and my hands were in pain before an hour.

What. I'm so sorry it's that bad for you. I love what I do, and I love making connections between my classes. Physics tying into chemistry, chemistry tying into biology, chemistry and physics tying into geology, math combining them all. It's very rewarding. Don't get me wrong, I'm a lazy fuck and put things off, but I get legitimate joy out of reading texts when I actually understand it. That requires good teachers who care, and good textbooks that teachers who care would recommend. That means you have to get to know the professor, or use the internet to choose your professors based on reviews. You have to do research before you pick your classes, that's for sure, but you should also do research into your major so that you know you really want to invest yourself into it. When you have teachers who care about you and you interact with them and take interest in their lives they'll most likely do their best to accommodate your needs. Hell, I turn in reports late in my chemistry class every once in a while but my professor actually enjoys reading my reports and observations because it's all fun.
Just care about what you do, and what you want your future to look like, and it'll come easier. Create a schedule for yourself, I like to use a whiteboard on my bedroom wall. It works well when you have it in your face all the time.
