Demo is ready. Been about a year in the making but my team can go live now. Killing skeletons, penguins, and getting Kobold hugs awaits. I don't want to copy paste from the text dumps on the forum, but with most of the engine in place we can focus on content and bug fixes from here on out. Note that the demo is relatively humble, and missing some of the planned stuff (like the updated Ser Knight model or the launcher), but only more will be added in time.

Ashe here, the point of the less lewd chart is just to make things less embarassing for people to feel like backing or to tell their friends about, in addition to trying to focus it in a little more on the gameplay aspects. It's a lot easier to say, "Hey, check out this game, it's based on a choose your own adventure chart about romancing princesses to control kingdoms" than it is to say, "Hey, check out this game, it's based on a choose your own adventure chart about who you'd want to have sex with". The original charts are still our baseline for the actual game and character design.
To be frank though, I wasn't a fan of some of the changes either, even though we worked as a team to sort things out. A major point to be made is that when it comes to the actual game, the lust gifts are almost certainly still going to find their way in, in some form. We're not getting rid of them, or the princess qualities just because we're making it a little less "this is obviously for people to jerk off to".
[nospoilersontrash] Also once we work out incorporating external assets (modding) in terms of the kingdom overlay, it will be possible to put in scenes, images, sounds, and events that aren't in the base game. So far I believe Duke's got .ini file integration working with the small framework we have now, so look forward to that if we don't run into any snags along the way. It'll mean you can mod the game up with porn as long as someone feels like writing it. I'm looking forward to that, myself! [/nospoilersontrash]

How would you suggest the game and its development be used to further the charts, though? Given that most of the work on those is collectively done within threads on /tg/, as far as I can think of the best that we'd be able to do is to point people to the current active thread, by keeping a link somewhere on our forums updated as the URL changes every so often. I know it's a bit of a broken record to say this again, but the team really are all ears open for suggestions on improvement. We want this to attract more audience and generate more interest for Towergirls as a whole.
