I'm from MD, so I like the thought of Beach City being an alternate to our Ocean City, but she said while OC does have a little influence on the show, it's more of the Delaware Beach Towns.
Either way, assuming that Delmarva is in part, Maryland. That's the second animated show to take place here, that I know of. The First being Daria, since that's supposed to take place outside of Baltimore.

The only info right now is a description released by Nintendo, a patent filed by them for a controller, and these 'leaked' images of beta controllers. It's rumored to come out this Holiday Season as well.

Apparently, that's what the second joystick is for. You press up for x, right for b, and etc. And each game will handle it differently. I believe someone mentioned in the patent that there would be no joysticks either and it would be all tough screen, but the leaks say otherwise.
Maybe this future tech is physical holograms, so that every game has a different button layout and all these leaks are fake. Wouldn't that be something? But that looks to not be the case.

Guys, the same is happening with other shows and SU is one of the most successful in current Cartoon Network, do you really think they'll shoot themselves in the foot by cancelling it?
They're just milking it... if Rebecca intend to goes on for only 1 or 2 more seasons, airing constantly will make it end too fast and that is not what CN wants, I bet. Steven Universe was written with some ending in mind (such as what have happened with Gravity Falls) and I don't think it's bad. But the way they're treating it and the fans, with all this silence, is very annoying.
