I should really consider playing a MH that isn't 4U since Nargacuga seems to be a fun fight from what I've seen, and I love its design. Definitely sounds better than Gravios and fucking Rajang anyway.

narga is a pretty fun fight because it's fast paced without being way too much of a dick like rajang is, the nearest thing in 4u I'd compare it to is Zinogre. I also love fighting Brachydios.

Rajang is just obnoxious and hearing how 4U's endgame revolves around him makes me wince.
Zinogre at least is a fast monster that's done right and I find him legitimately fun. Today I solo'd two G2 quests, one of them was him and the other Gravios. Using Steve Armor + GS and being a bit of a pleb, Ziggy took a fair bit of time but wasn't boring to fight. Gravios on the other hand took me like 40 minutes to kill and is what I think everything wrong with 1st gen wyverns in one package.
Brachy is one I struggle with, but I see why people love him and I'd like to nail him down proper one day.
Also, as expected from DA that guy's art does look underwhelming, but it's suit TF so I suppose I'll take what I can get. After all, with TF it's really the idea that counts.

Always used impact phial CBs as a secondary of sorts and never really bothered with elemental damage as a whole, considering my unhealthy usage of GS. Other than being able to do them during the downtime of another action, what makes guardpoints more than just effectively being parries? At the moment I'm doing them through the Start button rather than X+R.

guard+2 is pretty mandatory on charge blade outside of special sets made for farming specific monsters that don't need it. I think the set used for farming gravios only needs +1 or maybe not even that, I haven't picked up 4u in months
