Not them but for me it's just the sad reality that what works for 2D doesn't always translate well into 3D. For example, pic related is super adorable and sexy but >>1591957 looks kind of awful and doesn't resemble its 2D art very well.
The Renamon doll and the OP plush look good but everything else ITT squicks me in some way, whether it's the face or the weirdly translated anatomy.

Hand-holding usually leads to shakycam, which could really impact the quality/enjoyment for some folks. I dunno about you but I find shaky porn really distracting and virtually impossible to get off to.
Cowgirl is a possibility but I probably wouldn't be able to have her head showing because the neck support wouldn't be enough to stop her head flopping about wildly (I've tried it, which is why I pretty much always do the deed lying down. However I have experimented with an "against the wall" approach which could make for a decent compromise).

Sounds like it'd be easier to get it made locally, except that I'd be lucky if I can find someone who can make a high quality plushie, rig it with a thin skeleton with springs to give some hugging power (A motorised skeleton isn't that unrealistic though actually), and not charge me $1000 or something.
So, something I haven't talked about Tavi yet: her tummy. BSP has done chubby/pregnant commissions before, and while I never requested as such, I don't mind just a tiny bit of extra tummy, rather than something completely flat. And while it was never specified to have Tavi have a rounded belly or anything, when she's sitting a bit more upright, she gets an adorable slight bulge from the way the stuffing shifts. It's so friggen adorable/huggable/squeezable/rubbable/kissable, I love it.
