Yes, this thread was getting spammed with stalin and salad posting. Right in the middle of all that spam, I assume the same person spamming the thread took the opportunity to make a male thread and force a split. For whatever reason it was their goal to make a male/female split even though there was already a female thread and this thread already allowed male to begin with. In actuality this was pretty much a male thread with female allowed as well. If the new male thread allows some female then this thread can be let to die as well and go back to two as it was.

No, but now it might be starting to when more specific fetishes pop up. There is already these 3, the pokefat thread, and sometimes a fat slob thread. I wouldn't be surprised if those last two were also forced into a male/female split which would make it even worse.

From what I could tell, the straight fur kept getting butt hurt that "the gays" were poaching all their drawfags, good content etc and having it in the main thread. Their threads kept getting bumped off because of that, while the main thread was hitting the bump limit almost every day
As such they just started shitting it up (literally) with scat, Stalin and other EPIC RAIDS xDDD until people just got sick of it and left the thread to die, so now there's "mainly" the s/fat and g/fat threads and NEVER WILL THE TWO MEET (except this whole autistic mascot thing)
