"Discard all of your weapons." Peridot stated with complete seriousness over her face.
Connie stared before starting to giggle at Peridot. She covers her mouth before she breaks into complete laughter.
"Discard. Your. Weapons." Reiterated Peridot, preparing to throw the plunger at Connie.
"O-Oh, oh my god. You're so small, and adorabl--"
Peridot interrupts Connie by throwing the plunger at her, which only flies across half of the small bathroom.

The background is distracting. It really takes away from your nice picture. It is too concrete to be abstract, if that was what you are going for. Adding the element of a background can easily take away or add to a picture. An abstract background especially is dangerous territory to those unfamiliar.
