I SAID GOOD ISYO

A parallel universe is a self-contained separate reality co-existing with one's own. A specific group of parallel universes is called a "multiverse", although this term can also be used to describe the possible parallel universes that constitute reality.

Fucking scrub.

Sorry

If that guy kills the mystery goomba (a goomba that is below the death zone and only exists for one frame), it'll probably be such a stupidly complicated method that it'd be the most gloriously autistic thing ever performed in gaming by far, and that's assuming he doesn't already hold the record with that A button challenge.
>>
>>1103601
>impying he pressed a more than once
all you have do is hold a, then write the sentence around the a's to get all you need. I did it in this post.

>>1119629
>not typing with half an a press
>>
>>1119927
Well you see, when you start typing the post, there's an interval of time before you click onto the text box. By hold A prior to to text box click, you can effectively acquire all the A's you need depending on the message you want to send. Although doing so will land you with a half an A press, what happens is that the only period of time that matters is when the sentences started being typed. Since the prior A hold blends into this period of time and then gets cut off from it's press, we can, for this period of time, say there was no instance of A being pressed, effectively giving us a 0 A press typing run.

You know, you could just copypaste a's.

I have no idea what the hell any of this is, and whenever I ask on /v/ everyone starts acting like faggots

The guy who made this video, rather than focusing on speedruns for games like most people do, instead has an "A button challenge" where he tries to play the game with as a few presses of the A button as possible. I think he's able to beat the entire game with 30-something A presses right now.
Often getting zero A presses simple matter, but other times he has to get creative to avoid A presses, and the video above is famous for carrying out obscenely elaborate techniques just to get him down to "half an A press" for the level.

This guy knows what's up. I had to watch it a few times to wrap my head around everything going on. But once you understand parallel universes...

That's when the real jamboree begins

It'd be totally awesome if there was some sort of Mario game designed so that it COULD be beaten normally, but that would be the lame way to do it, and it's full of exploits because the developmental process only fixes bugs that prevent the game from being playable, after quickly slapping together a fairly elaborate game.
In fact, I suppose any game could be done like that. An FPS with everyone pulling off insanely complicated and strange tactics would have the funnest champion teams ever.

That's akin to code injection and memory editing, which is cheating.
>>
>>1137517
What? There's no hacking of the game going on there for the actual gameplay, just TAS, aka pre-recorded button inputs.
>>
>>1137517
They figured out everything in that video AFTER using cheats and reading the memory, then they created a set of inputs which would utilize all of that information to create a legitimate way of getting the Watch for Rolling Rocks star in 0.5 A presses.

Yes, you're seeing the results of cheats and memory reading, but it CAN be recreated on actual hardware with no external items.

Just make sure not to bring Lakitu with you after you leap a QPU as that is an emulator-only thing.
