Marty comes back to Beach City as sucessful agent just dropping by on his rounds while scouting for new talent.
Partially there to look for new talent, while also stopping by to flaunt his success to Greg, and visit Vidalia, he hasn't seen his kid for six or seven years since his last visit but Marty is a busy man.
Greg gives Marty the bare minimum common courtesy but is obviously irriated by his presence.Steven is there so he doesn't make a huge deal out of it.
Marty finds that the guy he was looking for is his kid, Sourcream who has been doing well as a local DJ. Marty obviously spots this as a chance for big money, and with his own kid getting him to sign would be like taking candy from a baby. His baby.
Sourcream is obviously thrilled to have his cool dad back around and obviously jumps at the chance to get big and famous and tour with his cool non-fisherman dad. Literally everyone, Vidalia, Yellowtail, Steven, Greg and the other coolkids try to convince him this is a bad idea and to stay but SC gets defensive and insists on that it's his dream, both to become a famous DJ and to really get to know his biological father.
Greg confronts Marty about it, but doesn't get anywhere, Marty reminds him how Greg missed his big shot and to compare the two of them, Marty travelling around with celebrities, rolling in money and fame as a succesful agent, Greg squandering his talent and slumming it in a car-wash. Greg just asks Marty to think about what kind of life he wants Sourcream to live.
Marty leaves, but while starts having second thoughts himself after seeing how Greg is with Steven. Throw in some shots of the Fryman family, Sadie and Barb,Deweys and whoever else you might see at the boardwalk together doing family things.

Needs some work keeping Steven involved in a storyline that clearly doesn't involve him, but nature of the show needs Steven to be present to show the viewers what is going on. But we could see enough from whenever steven is either with A) Greg and Marty, or B) Sourcream. Marty's van could be getting the works from Greg at the car-wash, seems like the kind of thing Marty would do to "Throw his old pal' a bone."
