So what do you think "harvest" means?
Personally, I'm hoping it's some shit like what happened to the first Greed in FMA.
He was punished by being melted down and having his energy/power returned to Father before being put into a new host to make a new Greed.
I want Gem harvesting to be them taking the energy from a dormant gem to put into another gem/make a gem stronger.

That said, there's a lot of ??? there because she's one of the few gems we've encountered that has suffered damage but not TRUE corruption. We don't know whose team she was on in the war or how she got to be that way.
