Can't properly hold their shield. Figures are soft plastic so they feel a bit gummy. The armor won't stay properly clipped on. Staff breaks easy.
The figures are made to pop out the limbs (hands, feet, arms, legs, etc), but the tiny pegs break easy.
Sculpting is nice, the figures can be fun if you're careful, but they are way over priced.
8/10

I got 12 various Spartan figures coming in a pre order but have an Ultimate Spartan in hand (2 more in the mail lol) and Fucking love him.
I didn't really like how plastic the flesh looks but after a few washes and dry brushes I am happy with the figures appearance.
Articulation is really nice, the shield fits perfect for me so no dramas there, the legs were pretty loose but some glue has fixed that. I just wish the ankles were rockers as the standard feet configuration is a tad awkward.
Over all I really really like this line and can't wait to see what's next!

What do you mean some glue? How do you glue your figure without just making it a statue?
I put a pre-order in, but it was all second shipment stuff. Might have it by Christmas.
I’ve largely heard good things.

Literally put a few drops of super glue in the leg socket joints that were loose and moved the legs like they were running until the glue hardens and drys making it tighter, just keep moving them and they won't lock up, just get nice and tight lol

By moving it while the glue dries. You’re essentially adding more material to tighten things up. If it is at the hip the same effect could be achieved by using a tiny piece of paper towel.

That's pretty the opposite every reviewer is saying around.
Now I won't enter a debate since I think that's your genuine opinion, but it's a bit out of the crowd, just saying.

Notice how none of them are holding the shield properly. It's clipped on, but you can't get the hand into the handhold. >>5640152
There have been several people reporting that the staff broke or a peg for a body part broke. Lots of complaints about the vests being too difficult to clip back together or stay closed. $15 would be the max here and they start at $20, that part we can agree is an opinion.

I'm not a ham-handed thumb, but I bet I could fix anything I break

Sweet, thank you anon
I know it's historically accurate or whatever, but I could never buy a toy of a dude in sandals. They don't look tough. They look like shitty granola northface wearing yuppies or gym hippies.
