Having to dismantle that torso balljoint just to swap a skirt would be a nightmare scenario for all the hamhands here. I've taken the 18 figure completely apart before, and from firsthand experience I can say that they really did the best they could with the design because it needs to be anchored securely. The side split cut on the skirt was a good compromise without risking a lot of belly aching from people with broken figures.

I'm especially interested in the best version of Goku, Vegeta, Freeza, and Cell. When searching it appears the only ones available still are the SSJ versions and gold Frieza.

I talked with the PR guy for Bandai at Anime Expo. He told me that he actually has some sway with what gets made and that if he sees a big enough demand for a figure, he can pass that along to Bandai Japan.
I told him that I really want to see more Launch, and while I didn't expect to see a Figuarts, something like a WCF would be fun. He told me he really wants to see more people ask for their favorite characters on facebook to get a better picture of what fans want and "be their voice" in Bandai so to speak.
If enough people ask for Bulma or Videl they'll get made. Everyone I know that collects DB Figuarts wants at least some form of Bulma. So I imagine if they're vocal enough she'll get made.
