Oh no, designer! Budget constraints on this new range of figures means we can only allow for a total of seven (7) points of articulation on your designs.
WHERE DO YOU PUT THEM?
No Hasbro designer. I won't do your job for you.
This is how i would do it. Arms would have to be preposed/sculpted into some firing/uselful pose.
The chest joint allows for more dynamic poses, and the legs have to be at least this articulated.
This is a huge dilemma for me because waist and knee joints are essentially useless without ankle joints.

Yeah, this does it.
>>5757782
Done.

>barbell balljoint at the top of the neck, that's two
>balljoint at the base of the neck, that's three
>articulated eyes sure as hell count as balljoints, that's five
>hinge/pivot ponytail, seven
Wipe hands on pants, ship it.
It's a Spider-Man toy.

Pretty much the best option. Lack of elbows would concern me when considering buying it though. Maybe move the chest joint to the head.
>>5757782
Would already come in a sitting down pose. You have to buy the fully articulated wheelchair separately.
do what McFarlane did.
Who cares if it's a McStatue, because it's beautiful.
God Tier Sculpting.
God Tier Paint.

Tough choice A is elbows or knees, and tough choice B is chest swivel, hip swivel, or neck swivel.
>>5757805
I like this one, especially if you pre-pose the hands/arms in a way that feels appropriate for the character. Funny thing is, a chest joint that acts as an ab-crunch and waist joint in one can go a long way in making the figure feel more dynamic than one with neck/head movement.
Make a knight figure - shield arm elbow sculpted at a right angle, swap chest ball joint to hinge in sword arm for more expressive striking poses. Balljoints in each hip should be sufficient for creating some interesting stances.

I quit the job. There's no point in making such shitty toy.
>>5758205
This. 9 points minimum.
>>5759686
I could deal with 8 (shoulders, elbows, hips, knees) if the sculpt was nice and it was figure I liked and would probably never get another figure. But 9 is better.
>>5759884
I would do horrible things for this figure.
>>5760522
I would like a Trogdor better.
>>5760525
Give me the whole main cast. An articulated StrongBad would make me so happy. But it seems like the type to have some line 0 POA vinyl toys that came out in 2004 that are impossible to find now.
>>5760530
Googled it, I'm right. Unarticulated PVC.
