Lego General FAQ/Guide (you should read this before posting, every time):
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YVt-4sibEMFOU8H484MpB-K6rNla5SIYdHZG8lyCHLQ/edit?usp=sharing

Remember to take a whirl at one of these June challenges anons:
>Build a minifigure of a Star Wars character that doesn't already have one.
>Build a robot command centre. You figure out what it's supposed to be a robot or command them!
>Build something that's mostly Lego but uses some third party/off brand pieces.
>Build a brick-built wheelchair that looks better than the one in 60134.
>Build something based off of another anon's MOC.
>Fenimiminismninimism- Give your female figs something BADASS to ride around in! Bonus points for minidolls.
>Make a Fighting arena for your two most badass minifigs!
>Go to the Lego aisle at Walmart and startle someone
>Home Sweet Home - In honor of Captain Rex's AT-TE, rebuild a vehicle into a mobile home for your favorite figs.
>June Bride. Set up an impromptu wedding between your sig fig and another fig, or your waifig/husbafig and another. Bonus points for celebrity guests, full musical acts and ultimate points for treating her/him like a princess/prince with a "fairytale wedding" (fancier the better).

I have this set, unfortunately for my experience it was a weaker Enlighten kit, the clips used to hold the lander's legs in place didn't have enough grip and there were tightness issues in general. Still it's a fun little display set, I only paid $8 Cdn and it was well worth that much.

Is there some sort of website where people can submit their custom models with building instructions and a parts list? Perhaps even lets you purchase the required parts?

I'm an animator, and I'm considering doing a stop-motion LEGO project. I've been out of the LEGO game for a while, and while I'm comfortable with building the sets themselves, when it comes to things like vehicles, I'd rather let somebody else figure it out (at least for this project)

That's the deal with Enlighten: You have to tune it a bit with real Lego to make it work. You're still saving money, though.

Originally, this canopy was on a hinge that formed the nose. This meant the rest had no integrity at all, so I replaced it with 1x1x3s that had side studs.

It does seem to be the trend, this set was pretty good overall but the radar tower design involved a stress connection, had to adjust it with a couple Lego pieces. Funny thing is Enlighten makes those pieces too, it was just a flaw in the design.

It's a good set, and the shaping of the dragon is really nice.

The GOTD plastic works as well as Lego's modern Glow White plastic is. Needs to store a lot of light, and the effect is spotty if you didn't shine light evenly across the whole piece.

not that anon but assuming you're looking for the figs in the previous post:
>Stitch
Short legs, Look for the long rounded ears on both sides. No accesories, this will help you differentiate it from the cheshire cat.
>Buzz
The Torso jetpack accessory should make the bag stand out from the others, also the wings. Wht only other fig with a part that big would be ursula's tentacles, should be easy to tell apart.
>Alien
Short legs, pointy ears in their head and the antenna at the center. Same as Stitch, no accessories.

Are you the same anon I first replied to? If so, here are the tips for your three targets:

>Stitch
The biggest piece here (and thus the easiest to feel for) is the head. What you're looking for is the feeling of his two banana-shaped ears. Once you find those, feel around for his short, unposeable legs to verify.

>Alien
With short legs and no accessories, the Pizza Planet Alien will be similar in feel to Stitch. The key identifying part here is the antenna on its head, and the lack of ears.

>Buzz
His biggest piece is the chest+backpack armor. You'll be able to tell it apart by the empty area where the torso would normally go, and the round flat (but collared) area on the opposite side. Make sure the moveable legs are there in case you confuse the backpack for an Ariel or Ursula tail piece, and look for his small but flat wings in case you mistook the backpack for Hook's hat+hair (this got me the first time).

Plus TONS more.

Also there "The Third Party" which can be any number of custom producers, independents. They can make anything from custom tiles to full custom minifigs and even full builds. HERE is where shit gets pricey.

Good thing is, usually once a custom minifig comes out, the chinks swoop right in and copy it and mass produce the fuck out of it and sell it for pennies.

Basically these are the search terms for noobs.

All motors with the ecxeption of the E and servo motors can make good drive motors so long as you can manage return-to-center functions, a few build options for that can be found on Brickshelf. M motors are IIRC a tad faster than XL due to their gearing.

Weaker motors are better for steering.

How are any of those things actual problems? You're already on an obscure children's toy subset of a taiwanese calendar photography discussion forum and you don't expect these things? And how are you any better? You're already here, you've already admitted to funposting, needing to do so, and being a literal meme nationality, again only within the confines of this sublevel of this Canadian syrup brewing discussion palace. And again, how does this invalidate anything on those dudes' end? If someone posts something and it's true, then it's true. Call things as BS when they're BS. Plastic tits make no difference. If you don't take these dudes seriously at all, do so.

You expect me to look at your playlist? Why? I'm not some /mu/ faggot.

I don't get that last part. What's the point of self-deprecating humor if you were originally attempting to invalidate the other anons' point? I do respect your proud Australian genes and the inherent need to shitpost that comes with them but nothing has been achieved.

I'm not certain I speak for everyone here, but just from observation, most people here don't have any issues with that stuff, no. The majority of people seem to either enjoy it or at the least are totally indifferent towards it. Few people bother to go out of their way to complain about such things and when they do they're usually ignored or ridiculed for sperging out over how others go about playing with their toys.

what if jizzing on them makes them glow under blacklight?

wheres the poster who was cataloguing the parts that fluoresced under the blacklight? he'd love this.
>>
OK.

Im fully willing to do this, but I will NOT do it if the mods and janets are going to ban me for it.

The solution is to use imgur for all image posting. Usually mods won't be too bad about it, for instance in the "toys with huge tits" thread a little while ago there was an imgur album of QB Nyx with her tits out. The lewd images posted in the thread were deleted, the SFW and imgur album posts were not.

There's also a lewd toy thread in the catalog now, but the OP image was deleted, yet the thread remains. Pretty simple rules. Honestly I'd think the jizz-brick should be allowed to stay, as it technically does not involve nudity, but I'd also err on the side of caution.

Represent.

ahahah, I though you would be.
I wonder how much it permeates the plastic? Like can you wash the jizz off and still have a glowing brick?

does jizz on a lego brick under blacklight violate any rules? is it nsfw?

Nah no-one's gonna crack down on ya even if you still don't like the waifu-posting. Different strokes for different folks and all that jazz.

No, sorry. That is something I've been meaning to do however. Go and digitally back-up all my builds in ldd in case my house burns down or something.

I would hope as long as my cock isnt in the shot shooting said jizz, it would still be safe. Just the pieces with the obvious jizz on them.

The ABS that most bricks are made from is non-reactive, which is why you can soak parts in Simple Green and all the 30-year-old spray paint will dissolve but the plastic will be untouched.

However, most glowing pieces are trans-colored, and made of polycarbonate (PC), not ABS.

So we'd have to test it on an orange transparent chainsaw is what I'm saying.

It's a definite shape. IMO its large size may make it difficult to work around and you may or may not find yourself frustrated in trying to make the surfaces as you wish, if ordinary studs-on-top isn't what you're aiming for that is.

Also, huge tits thread. It's almost dead in the archive, though.

>>5760389
I have it somewhere but I have over ten thousand files unorganized so yeah. I'm certain if you posted a request thread in the catalog or so you'd be able to find it.
