We only saw those with Kira with the Kosaku head and Giorno with the flowing GER head and they're just neutral expressions.
It just varies on who Medicos chooses for release. Okuyasu has that smiling expression head instead of the usual screaming angry face they do on most releases. Josuke's smiling head was locked behind WF Crazy Diamond and probably a few more I don't remember off the bat.
They know the source material well enough to reference accessories from small scenes but it seems to be a dartboard's chance on alternate expressions that aren't the norm of the neutral or angry screaming variety. It would be funny if Medicos goes there and release specific headsculpts as a sort of WF only deal if they have no other option to release on a figure similar to those WF only soundplates.

Nah, if Revoltech makes further efforts for more monsters and hunters then I'm happy. The sculptwork on the Rathalos hunter is one of my favorites.
If Medicos wants to take advantage of rarely used IP's then a Dorohedoro line should be ideal.
I'm still sort of understanding how Medicos works for IP choice for figures since Parasyte and Aijin tells me they pick more unusual character designs to make figures for. Same deal with Toyko Ghoul with the garish and dark designs they opt for for characters and the masks they wear next to their powers.

I just recommend him based on how fashionable the outfit is with the dark colors with the pop of the light brown. The gold paint on the headband and button ties it together perfectly with the purple hair.

Maybe they are testing the waters for ideas or figures. Shinichi was fun for all the accessories he came with plus having a migi to display with but just no double jointed elbows. Plus going for the manga design instead of the anime one is an interesting choice or possibly because of how simple it is in comparison.
Tokyo Ghoul works off the designs and the more unusual weapons/abilities the characters have but with the way Kaneki's kagune was handled with being such a static piece I'm a little let down. Shinichi's extended arm showed Medicos can do single joints to help articulate longer appendages but they didn't follow up.
Though I said it before Medicos seems to work into either properties with little to no figures or they like more unusual somewhat "body horror" sort of deals to be made into an SAS. Really the only non-JoJo figure that was a hit out of the park was Ajin/IBM and that was simple and without a crazy contrast of colors. The long limbs gives excellent range given he has standard SAS articulation (though I can never get him into a perfect slav squat). The bonus heads, detailed pistol, and tabbed or button base makes him a solid choice(never noted this often but the new base is a massive improvement over the standard)

Redoing older SAS's would be interesting if they mean to re-engineer articulation and sculpts and not just fix the heads and faces.

I guess to start off the pistol is meant for a separate Ajin that the SAS comes with in the form of a head (the flat and open mouth head since it's a different character)
The bodies are similar so I guess Medicos banked on fans to buy 2 to have both Ajin's fight eachother.
Unfortunately I'm still searching for an appropriate Assault Rifle that scales to Ajin since the longer limbs allows for different gun poses because of the better range of movement they cover.
I have the manga on my backlog but as far as I know the one with the faceless head is often seen just using his bare hands whereas the flat or open head Ajin favors guns because of his human owner or user.
Personally I picked him up just because I fell in love with the basic design and how tall he ended up being. The sculptwork is on point also and I feel this is probably one of the better non-JoJo SAS's Medicos released next to Shinichi (even with the lack of double jointed elbows)
The only odd thing I hear about the manga was the changeover of authors in a short span of time but I still plan to read it since the Ajin designs really caught my eye.

Just a quick shot of White Snake who came just now. I'll post up my villain lineup shot soon but they did a solid job with the GACT patterns on the body. Not perfect but I expected the worst and it came out great.
Not sure if the plastic skirt on his waist is suppose to move around this easily but I'm not too bothered by it.
I got a DIO Awake 2nd that came with the SAS Referece Book Act. 1 and I was thinking...
Would it be bad if I repainted him to have his original color scheme? I'd feel bad for tarnishing the LIMITED EDITION the box so indicates, but it's not even a color scheme from the Capcom fighter and I just don't remember seeing that color scheme.
Hell I even wanted to make a custom by adjusting the top to be shirtless, grab/sculpt/3D print a PB Dio head and paint the face black to make a Shadow DIO, but again, scared to tarnish the brand.

As to my knowledge for Awakened Dio it could be a case of Medicos making their own tweaks to the original colorway. They did the same with King Crimson Blue ver. which was based on the cover with Doppio but they swapped colors for his pinkish hue instead of the shade of green Araki used.

Someone recommended Vallejo paints for Medicos figures if you wanted to do a custom. Depending how you want to tackle it you could ask the customs general
The World 2nd is ideal considering the colors used on him. The World 3rd and The World 1st sort of sit around Dio 1st and Awakened Dio 1st's territory.

Only Part 3 is what you're familiar with and it is the most well known so people attach to that as general knowledge. Just keep reading and you come to appreciate the theme of the Joestar Descendants vs Dio Brando who has influence throughout the series even though his life ends at Part 3.
Not to mention you have Parts 2-8 to read through also but each story is a blast to read even though some parts do feel a little weaker than others.

Yeah, don't do that unless you have no choice. They allow returns so long as it's in re-saleable condition. Since some brands don't have tape seals it means you could get stuck with some defective/missing part figure. It's happened to me numerous times.
That's not to say I haven't gotten brand spanking new figures from AmiAmi with problems but HLJ opens themselves up to being abused unless they choose to open up a figure and ensure it has no problems which they won't because it's too much extra work.
Still, sorry you had to deal with this shit. That's horrible.

I'm not really sure... The RWBY designs don't seem to lend themselves to the style of SAS, whether your a fan of the source material or not. Air brushing and paint aps don't look like they suit these character designs, and these outfits look like they would severely limit SAS articulation. Wouldn't these work better as Figma? The designs look pretty derivative of things like Madoka and Nanoha after all.
