Partsforming refers to any toy that changes into something else via removing parts, that then sit around with nowhere else to put them. Imagine if you had a Power Rangers toy, and to get it ready for Megazord mode, you had to pull off the entire front section of one of the 'bots, and then you had nowhere to put it. So it just sits around taking up space on your shelf (or wherever).
