What does /toy/ think about wooden construction toys or just wooden toys in general?
I think they're cute.
Baby nephew had a set before...and FUCK YOU. Kids don't actually construct silly little houses, they only use the blocks to DESTROY. They would use them as blunt weapons, as projectiles, jam it into shit. The density of these things make them hurt. Shitty ones give splinters. Shitty painted ones litter you house with paint chips. Shitty unpainted ones are prone to water damage.
So fuck you if you ever buy these shitty novelty "education" cavemen weapons for kids.

Brio wooden trains are the shit.
It's hard to find this stuff in stores state side but I managed to have a pretty large collection growing up. What always impressed me was a lot of the trains they made where based off real trains. Pic related.
