whether their based on an existing property or not, are there any good toys that really capture any era of sci-fi between 1920 and 1965?

I dunno OP but I have promised myself that when 3D printers get affordable, print in color, and are of decent quality the first thing I'm army-building are Green Slime critters.
>>
>>5735109
when 3d-printers become a thing, will people torrent action figures?

Four Horsemen's Outer Space Men.
They're cool looking, but long sold out.

Try ebay
>>
>>5735130
These are pretty modern. They were made a few years ago

3a String Divers

OSM defaulted back to the original owners. They said on their instagram new releases are coming in the next month after letting Onell Design release a recolor last week of one of them.
>>
>>5735141
There's also the Quantum Ranger, not released yet I believe.
>>
>>5735140
I think he meant modern style, since the articulation on these is a bit more like retro 80's figures. Then he went and said "better" though, and turned into a complete faggot.
>>
>>5735142
Onell/Glyos has the license now, and will be producing toys off the 4HM molds (and maybe some new ones).
>>
>>5735117
Models & statueshit will be torrented, articulation will probably take another generation.
>>
>>5735130
These are the modern remakes of the old toys. Four Horsemen sculpts with Glyos compatibility.
>>
>>5735149
They're out. I have the black one.

MOTUC, in parts. It spans 4-5 different pulp genres.
>>
>>5735237
Oh awesome, is it worth the money?
>>
>>5735117
3d printers are already a thing. By the time they get to a level comparable to mass produced toys, we'll be in a post scarcity society and will no longer have such materialistic needs and collections will be virtual.
>>
Power Lords too if talking about Four Horsemen.
Although not sure if they intend to continue the line.
>>
>>5735240
It's on OK display piece. The helmet/jet pack fell apart out of the box and had to be glued back together. The stand only hold it up if it's tilting way forward.

Plus, it's a 3A 1/12 figure, so you get all the crap that goes with that (painted joints that flake easily, loose joints, ball joints in the fee that can barely hold the figure and pop out easily).

I'd rather have the GiD version, myself. But I had already preorded the black by the time that one was offered.
>>
>>5735398
I think they do, but in 1/12 scale.

is there any pulp crime, tho?
>>
>>5735433
Well that sounds disappointing. I wasn't too happy with the String Divers, parts fell off on that thing a lot as well. Also the plastic is super brittle. Was hoping those issues would be fixed.

Wait. Is that from Outer Limits? I want to know more.
>>
>>5735238
Oh man, thats cool. Where can I get one?
>>
>>5735828
It's from a movie called This Island Earth.
>>
>>5735436
Oh yeah? Was wondering about that since I got the Mythic Legions. I don't mind that but then I want them to redo the main characters they've done so far, and not just as those power armor master chief looking version.
>>
>>5735811
There are galactic enforcers of law with Zodak/Zodac. Not really a 1940s guy in a trench coat, but eh.

>>5735840
ebay. It was an SDCC exclusive, and it carries a hefty price tag because it was packaged with non-transformed Cringer.

There's some Mars Attacks stuff out there if thats your digs. But might be pricey. Especially Hot Toys.
>>
>>5736986
>tfw you were really strapped for cash when the Mezco $20 figures came out and you missed out on the chance to build a reasonably-priced Martian army
>>
>>5735141
They look cool, but boy do they suck. They're super flimsy and the ankle and wrist joints are terrible. Just get real Microman/Micronauts and scratch the itch.
