A Legacy release is a reissue that also has the newer joints. A lot of old revo's had shit joints that initially gave revoltech a lukewarm reception. At some point they updated their joint ball thingys and since then they've been rock solid.
Generally if you have a choice between an original version of a figure and a Legacy, always go for the Legacy.

Reissue with the latest joints which are slightly better. 10 times better for Revoltechs that came out during the period when 6mm joints were shit. So early QB which used 6mm heavily is preferred for a Legacy release.

I think anything that was released normally is all there. Ones missing are most Friend Shop exclusives, which were repaints (first Ingram 2 was too iirc, but it's there). Exclusives you get when you order through Figure Oh Magazine. Video game exclusive like Fraulein Haruhi (uniform) and GZ Snake are missing. Also the many metallic or similar special versions. Oh and also WF exclusives of course.
Only real unique molds that suffer from the exclusion are King Gainer XAN, Enki Dudu, and Branwen for some reason.

That's kind of delusional. Lukewarm is the understatement of the century. When people say revo has shit joints, what they mean is they're huge, ugly and break the overall look of the figure making them look too toyetic and cheap. Yes, the clicking(breaking) sound is part of it and the limited angles as well.
Personally, I hate the bad sculpts, pinheads and the always hunching bodies.
The Raiden figure was what got me back into revo, I began to pick up the ones I always wanted but was too scared to get.

To this day it amazes me how many figure collectors don't know what a ratchet joint is or how common they are amongst other toy lines. Or how they're usually preferred to ball joints, since ball joints wear out pretty easily over time.

When did Revos supposedly stop having this issue? I had Gurren Lagann, Summer Yotsuba, Melona, and Kenshiro and never had issues with them as far as joints go.
Today I campaign for Raoh.
Most of the Hokuto figures are quite affordable now, including standard Raoh.
However, the version with Kokuoh-Go and the Musou version are a bit pricey.
A vote for Raoh is a vote for one of the greatest animes of all time.
Also, Musou Kenshiro is like 70 bucks, which isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things but could be better. Vote Musou Kenshiro as well.

I've yet to get a single DHL package that hasn't been severely crushed and damaged. The stuff inside has always survived just fine more or less (minus some very minor box damage) but jesus christ they stress me out big time.

My recommendation would be to ask them what the different shipping rates would be and then make a decision based on that. If your local USPS is shitty with packages then EMS wouldn't make much more sense over DHL. However if they treat your shit well it might be worth EMS if you want to get things as pristine as possible.
A lot of people like DHL so maybe my experience with them is abnormal.

A better gauge is how shitty your local postal service is and how shitty your neighborhood is. Does your post office lose packages, leave them in bad places, leave notes saying they tried to knock when you were clearly home and they did not, etc? Do packages go missing in your neighborhood or is theft common?
I'll put it like this: my postal service was reliable and my packages don't get stolen off the porch, so I used SAL exclusively for years without issue. Toys aren't time sensitive items for me and I figured if something got lost I could dip into the money saved from years of dirt cheap shipping and still come out ahead.
I've since broken the trend of only using SAL, partially because some stores only go down to RSAL. Other packages were too expensive to risk not having insurance or were simply so big the price difference between SAL and EMS was negligible.
Just ask for a price quote on each of the options and pick the one you think works best for you.

I think it is the distributor / branding thing. SW REVO, JIZAI OKIMONO, MOVIE REVO, CHARACTER REVO are released by Kenelephant and those belongs to them or not counted as Kaiyodo's Revoltechs.

How many Queen's Blade figures are there anyway? I'm only voting in stuff I know but I'm surprised by the attention to the series in this thread or just particular characters in general.

Quite a few. There were 3 book exclusive packins (Annelotte, Branwen, Aldora?), and a ton of regular ones. Cattleya, Alleyene, Elina, Nanael all got Legacy's, Sigui, Echidna, the dwarf loli, the elf monkeygirl loli, Alice, Alice Boost Ver., Melona, Menace, Leina (and the book girls) didn't. Plus there were also 2P color versions of most of the characters, so you can almost double the amount of them.

Oh, and Melona and Menace get such attention because they're giant tittymonsters and Melona has a body that is PERFECT for almost any 1/12th lewd headswap because like most of the line, all of her clothes are removeable and she was sculpted tits/a vag slit, but UNLIKE the rest of the line, she also has no identifiable parts on her really, whereas the others usually have some sort of idenfiable sculpted on detail (leggings, arms colored like the clothing, etc).
So Melona was super popular for EZ Mode body swaps for making lewd as fuck situations. Menace is popular because people love her design so she goes for lots of dosh.
The book pack-in girls are also getting attention in the thread just because THEY'RE SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE because they were all part of book pack-ins, which puts the price of them through the roof, similar to the Guts Berserker Figma that only came with one book.

They were pretty well made female action figures that easily rivals figma plus the bonus S mode M mode (Seme/attack, Make/ defeat), most have nipples and hint of vag...and the Anime was pretty good too.

Anyways, it left quite a mark in the figure collector's world.
But the early ones suffers loose 6mm joints syndrome so Legacy version would be great to have.

Design wise I don"t really care for Melona. Like she is all about shape shifting so her base form is sort of boring for the fantasy world she is in. Her gimmick overlaps with other leaking fluids characters. And personality wise not as interesting as the other two followers of the Swamp Witch (btw needs Revo). Plus I have like 2 of her already.
Leina, Echidona, Menace, Aldora and Annelotte would be great to have reissues. Plus there are more options for naked bodies and limbs now and near future.
But having the baddies trio is important too I suppose.
I'm hoping the overall high number of votes for QB Revos in general will sway them to Legacy the rest, regardless of individual ranking, and not just cherry pick like last time. If they're doing it for Gamera why not?
No one else does QB anymore they don"t need to worry about competition. Looking at some Japanese posts QB are mentioned often enough.
But I don"t think they will do that many Legacy anymore as well.
Wish they would at least make clear how many they intend to release.

The heat softens the plastic. Soften the plastic, move the joint around a bit, plastic reforms with more room for the joint to move around in the space comfortably.

Honestly, I'd say it's best to pile the votes if you
re only going to vote for one of them. Distributing votes never works, you've gotta focus on one set and one set only as it'll increase their chances. So if you're gonna vote for just one tittymonster, vote for the one you want most, or help us out with Melona/Annelotte/Menace/Aldora/etc if you don't care and have 4 free votes.
Just realize folks really active on twitter, have plenty of followers can influence the votes quite a bit. Probably making Reycal be in like the top 3 since the author is trying to sell his manga with this. Hell Yamaguchi voted for her (and Layton) so shouldn't that count for like 1000 votes.
