When's this guy coming out? July?

Still pissed off about the lack of trigger hands. Woulda been nice to have any swappable hands really... Honestly, who made that choice? Daredevil has trigger hands for some reason. Who's managed to get in a position to make these choices, and just drops the ball this hard?
>>
is Wolverine gonna have bendy claws? or hard claws?
>>
Is there anywhere you can buy hands that you can switch with marvel legends?
>>

>>
>>5717496

The fact that there's an easy fix doesn't make the omission of trigger fingers for Punisher of all characters any less retarded.
>>
>>5717569
No, but it's an easy modification so don't moan.

>>

It's not dope but the new Nick Fury has white trigger hands and I'm already gonna have a bunch of of them by the time I find Punisher.

I'm kinda salty that this will get mad scalped because of Wade's popularity, especially since I've been wanting a better attempt of DP by Hasbro for so long. Here's hoping that Hasbro wisens up and gives him the Black Panther treatment down the line.

I honestly think they more likely will.

Its close but it doesn't really sell it as a classic punisher. I was hoping for something directly based off 80's/90's comics rather than a hybrid modern/classic style like that. I really like the Miller Batman for that reason, and I wish they continued basing stuff directly off artists. It feels more like they repainted modern style pieces(namely the boots) than try to recreate how he actually looked in older comics. still pretty cool, though. Hasbro's just has more oomph to me, even if the quality is worse(same with their Daredevil)

Inflation has only gone up roughly 33% since 2002. Some of it is oil costs but those haven't been too bad. It's mostly just greed.

Pic related was a "massive" $30 when Diamond imported it to US specialty shops in 2002 and people actually thought that was really high.

http://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/cpicalc.pl

That comes to $39.90 in 2016 money. Yet that price(or higher) has become average for Japanese imports that are 1/3 the size of Monev. Oh and a $20 action figure today would be priced $15.04 in 2002 going by that, or roughly double what they were actually priced at the time.

In store. All American websites either don't ship to Canada or conversion+shipping is too much. All Canadian websites, the price+shipping is too much. For all the rare/htf stuff, I just buy them at my LCS. Rather pay $30 for Venom on the spot than $35 and wait two weeks.

There's a swivel-hinge above the hand as well. They did it to create full axial hinged wrists, such that it hinges up and down as well as side to side, so it gives twice as much range as the antiquated shit ML hands that Hasbro uses. Too bad DST wasn't bright enough to just design SHF-style separate joints to do the same job but remain 100x cleaner in appearance. And it probably would have cut down on production costs, too.

Right? You should see amazon.ca, its even worse. At least on the amazon.com there are third party sellers that actually offer realistic prices, on .ca 99% of third party sellers have shit priced at over 100% markup without even a prime option.

I know you can sort by seller and set it to amazon, but i'd rather have it set as a default as I have never seen a third party seller with reasonable prices.

Hey Anon's, haven't bought a Marvel figure in ages. I mean, since like 90's Toybiz figures.

Are there any good (ie: lots of articulation, good sculpt, etc.) Juggernaut figures that won't rape my wallet? Looking at around a $60 or less budget here, similar to buying a figma/revo/SHF. I just always loved Juggs and he never really had a good figure when I was a kid.
>>
>>5722351
The Marvel Select Juggy is widely considered the best. He's huge and heavy, however the articulation isn't that great.

There's also the Toybiz Marvel Legends. I can't comment on that as I don't own him.

And the upcoming Marvel Legends wave has Juggenraut as the BAF.

Do you think this figure will end up better than the other one you suggested? This Marvel Selects one looks to be pretty good price-wise. Whats up with his articulation though? You mentioned it wasn't that good?

Do his arms have no elbow joint, or something?
>>
>>5722401
>Whats up with his articulation though? You mentioned it wasn't that good?
>Do his arms have no elbow joint, or something?

It's not that it's bad, it's that the size of the figure hinders how dynamic he can be.

But then again it's the Juggernaut, he's not supposed to be doing gymnastic poses.

Caved in and preordered the X-men wave from BBTS earlier today. I usually never order full boxes from sellers like this because they increase the price by like 20 bucks, and as they are now I cannot justify overpaying at all for any marvel legends.160 for the 8 figures comes out fine, though!

Same. They're the first legends I've ever preordered because for the most part everything else I've wanted I was content with waiting for everything in the wave to become common and scalpers to get it out of their system, but USM is my favorite comic so I want them ASAP.

He's really great. Has slightly wobbly hips though but I've heard that's a complaint on Bucky cap figures.
>>
>>5722369
Why are their figures looking more and more like their Hero Mashers? Juggernaut looks fucking awful.
>>
>>5722637
I feel its the torso piece that really makes it looks like shit. Those thick black lines definitely don't help, they should have sculpted the lines in or at least made them much thinner.

I think you're both right. I also think it might be the worst BAF since Puck.

They're probably going to put the torso to good use later on, though. Any speculation on what BAFs can be built using it as a base? Taking into consideration the Marvel movie roadmap and such.

Since Hulk is in the upcoming Thor movie (or so I hear), I'd love for them to make Bi-Beast with that torso. Ulik would also make sense, but I'm not sure how strong of an anchor it would be.
>>
>>5722605
I may just settle for a bootleg if it's remotely decent. I dislike Carnage in general, but I like that this really looks like Bagely's art and I need one to hang out with Spidey and Venom.

>>5722590

>>
So I bought the Nick Fury/Troop Builder/Dirk Anger figure and I got a dud, in that the neck joint is loose as loose can be. So much so that the Nick Fury head came off the body when I removed it from the packaging. The Faceless SHEILD agent head fits but is pretty wobbly as hell and barely can avoid drooping down to make it look like he's staring down at the ground. Any suggestions for tighting up the neck joint so it doesn't stay all loosey goosey?
>>
Really pissed off that we don't have a definitive Carnage yet. The last one was a slight step in the right direction but was too fat. Unlike Venom, Carnage was thin and wirely and worse, did not come with a single hatchet-style blade limb like Carnage used in the comics all the time.
>>
>>5723130
Get yourself some future shine and put a little on the ball joint.

http://www.amazon.com/SC-Johnson-Pledge-Multi-Surface-Finish/dp/B000ARPH4C
>>
It's not the ball joint nob that's loose, its the joint the ball itself is connected to that is loose as fuck......
>>
>>5723210
Buy some of that liquid superglue from the dollarstore, with the red cap. Put some on both sides of the joint where it sits in the neck, and keep moving it front to back until the glue has dried.

This adds a layer of glue to add friction to the joint, tightening it. Be sure to NOT let the glue dry in one spot. You must constantly move the joint back and forth. I did this with my initiative armor war machine and it worked like a charm.
>>
>>5723084
I really hope that the space venom baf isn't as shitty.
>>
>>5723210
You can use future for that too, jesus dude
>>
>>5723210
Get a couple rubber bands and loop them around the joint. Make it go from the base of the shaft to the bottom of the ball end. You need friction.

newfag here [for MLs, that is], is the Red Guardian ML hard to find? Did I miss the wave?

I know it's available online but I would like to check the paint apps in hand before buying but I have yet to see it in stores. Location: Southern California.
>>
>>5723416
If that were an actual action figure, with that realistic sculpting and none of the painted naked body shit Hasbro does, it would be my perfect Spider-Man. If only DST didn't make that recent Spidey of theirs into a crappy Pizza Spidey clone with the rippling muscles, what a waste.
>>

>Of course the move means they cut production costs, yet the prices stay the same, so again, greed.
It's not so much greed, since Hasbro actually moved production FROM Vietnam and India TO China because of raising costs in the first place.
Them moving BACK to Vietnam and India just means that production costs will not rise as fast as China, if at all.

>>5724188
Toy Biz still payed licensing fees and Marvel had to offer the license out to anyone who was willing to pay, because stock holders are greedy like that. Toy Biz (the distribution part of this company actually split from Marvel) was just the highest bidder every time... which went back to Marvel's bottom line.
>>
is there a DCPI for the Giant Man/Civil War wave yet?
>>
>>5724625
>Toy Biz still payed licensing fees and Marvel had to offer the license out to anyone who was willing to pay

Total horseshit, the company paid itself? They merged in 1998. They were the same company, same revenue, same stock. Why would they pay themselves licensing fees? Stock Holders are greedy, but they're not retarded. There's no extra revenue generated that way.
>>
