Probably, if only because nothing they could release after 0079 will be able to meet sales expectations set by previous releases. I bet anything else they tried would get cancelled when it couldn't outsell MSG.
The only thing I could imagine having a chance would be TV Evas and that would be outside of the line's current market position.

They're pretty clearly going to milk 0079 for all it's worth. Expect tons of MSV and other redecos and possibly other mobile armors aside from the Zeong. Guntank is a shoe-in. Probably a last shooting battle damaged Gundam too. They won't let 0079 end because it accounts for most of the only RDs that aren't ending up on clearance.

It's possible they made the RD Zeta and MK-II different from the original lineart on purpose (much to the complaint of many on /toy/ and elsewhere) so the A.N.I.M.E. versions of them would be different looking style-wise enough that people who already have the RDs out now would be willing to buy the ANIME versions of them.

I would like to see an OVA heavy arms RD, but i have no idea how popular the animation was in nipland. People in this country seemed to eat up anything wing related at the time, I remember the golden age when toy stores actually had a whole aisle of MSIAs but wing shit always sold first

I think what hes trying to say is that if they had a screen perfect accuracy line planned then why would they go through with the shiki and quebly unless they ALREADY were screen accurate. Why are Fafner Damashii really expensive in the after market?

Because most were exclusives and the ones that weren't were never reissued despite significant demand. If you are referring to Mark Nicht specifically, it was first featured as a movie villain before being used as one of the main protagonists in Exodus. As an exclusive it was made in movie villain quantities and not main protagonist quantities leading to huge inflation because of the lack of any sort of reissue or alternate version. Basically RD just ignored the Fafner line to death despite demand because they aren't from an 80s show or Gundam. They also avoided doing as much new tooling as possible meaning that Dreizehn never got made despite being one of the most popular units. They even released characters nobody cared about at the time of release just to avoid doing new tooling.
Hopefully some other company will pick up the Fafner license some day and actually give a shit about it.

The Epyon RD is pretty damn amazing. All toy and model versions before the RD (and maybe the MG, ymmv) are terrible POSs. The RD was the first version of the Epyon that I felt captured that stupid 14 year old edgemaster fun in a good toy.

Wing is actually a really nice RD. The balance is great, and in a dynamic pose the figure really shines. Transformation is clunky, but honestly I hate the idea of transforming RDs anyways so I never bother with it.

You guys would probably know more about finding figures than other threads here.
I would like to complete the whole MSIP line and having difficulties sourcing an F91 and a Setter.
Other than Yahoo Auctions and Mandarake, what do you think would be the best place to try and look / wait for them to pop up on?
I've been able to souce the V2, Zoloat, black Zolo and Hexa, so I really only need the two I mentioned before.

Grabbed the Leprechaun at 3200JPY myself. Also lots of other various mecha items on sale so it's worth browsing if you've got the time! Considering Alter's 1/60 scale Savages, but they're dang pricey for not being all that much larger than the RD.

Honestly it's a pretty good, well articulated release. People had issue with how the head ended up sculpted but I can't say I've ever found it to look bad.

Update on getting replacement parts from HLJ:
utterly failed, said they cannot order new parts on their behalf, so im stuck with a broken beam piece.
Unless anons here know a different way to get replacement parts; Ill probably get G3 Gundam and use that beam piece. I have to hollow out the pink beam saber out of the beam saber though.

I already own a few Aura Battlers, placing the wings on the Drumlo is way more difficult due to the giant backpack getting in the way. The only blessing was that the peg holes had enough space to get the wings in easily, but one of the smaller ones has excess plastic on it, and combined with the fact that griping the Drumlo gets more difficult the more wings you put in, the whole thing ends up a huge pain in the ass.
I'll try to fix it once I get my exacto knife, but I wish all Dunbine backpacks worked like the Billbine.

I guess I need to try and be objective here, I've had so much stuff from Bandai from just about all of their toylines and it's all been more or less perfect that this has to be an anomaly, but I expected they'd try a little harder to keep the QC on-point for web-exclusive items.

If you haven't seen Dunbine, and don't plan on changing that, then don't waste your money. There are a shitload of cool toys out there. You don't have to own them all.
That said, the figure is large, can easily hold no end of kickass poses, has some of the nicest, tightest joints of all the RDs made to date, comes with a sword, two greneades that store in nifty spaces inside his shins, removable shield, and about six or seven hands. Easily one of the best Dunbine RDs, and in my opinion one of the best RDs of any type.
If you are a Tomino fan, you should probably grab it at this sale price. If you have no particular love for Tomino series, don't bother.

It's an older damashii so slightly smaller than recent releases. Articulation's pretty good though the skirt armor can sometimes get in the way.
Still one of my favorite designs and looks really cool on the shelf.

The backpack attaching to the back of the figure can be a bit loose, but is easily fixed by your peg/joint tightening method of choice. This only really matters because that's where the tamashii stand connector attaches to, just to be clear.
Beyond that? It's about as good a representation of the design as you could hope for. I have no issues with the molding or posability on mine, and they even include regular and super-huge beam saber effects.

They do but it's on a case by case basis, usually only for serious defects and they require a copious amount of visual evidence to back up whatever claim you're making. I doubt they'd consider wobbly legs as a defect worth replacing but you wont know until you try, anon.

Midtown Comics had their monthly warehouse sale, and today they finally have some Tamashii Nation stuff.
I've been waiting forever for this figure. Chestbreak Virsago has been my guilty pleasure and my favorite unit to use in Gundam VS. Sure, he screams EPYON + ALTRON OG CONTENT DO NOT STEAL, but it does not disappoint. The arms are just really fun to mess with.
