Not him, but when Gotenks used SS3, it caused the fusion to go from lasting 30 minutes to 10. I haven't really kept up with Super, but if the power used to hold this form is substantial, it would shorten the fusion time. If it doesn't really require as much ki consumption, they would be fine.

This. Even with Goku being the most popular and most likely to sell the Awakening Goku was still way out of left field. Damaged variants almost never get action figures in Japan. Another Cell is not out of the question. Especially now that the line is more popular than ever and selling like crazy in the west.
When Perfect Cell was first released the line hadn't really gotten steam yet, it was selling but nowhere near the level it's selling at now.

So taller Trunks has great additions as well as questionable ones(lazy ab crunch). At the price point along with lack of accessories I like him but Gohan and SDCC Gohan remain my favs of the line.

They look better in motion though in my opinion. Less of a diaper gap effect. I get where people are coming from in not loving the sculpt of the new hips (or the new chest) but as a pure action figure I love posing the new body way more than the old one.
