No. They're just lottery prize items. If you see ones that are several thousands of yen (like Joker), then those are ones that had a super low chance of winning.
The normal MasColle ones can light-up with a light-up base, but most don't come with one.

Showa won't get SS renewals partly because there's no real need for it. W won't get from changes past W/Xtreme and either Fang or Joker. OOO will get base/Tajador/Putotyra. Fourze get base/cosmic, Wizard gets base/infinity. Don't expect upgrades for secondaries.

Rider #1's Figuarts is not that bad. It's still a very decent figure. Ultraman's first figure was fucking horrible and legitimately needed a renewal in ways that Rider #1 doesn't. Just because a figure is older doesn't mean it's automatically bad and needs updating.

You're not going to be able to wear it unless you are basically skin and bones and still suck in your gut since that's how a friend of mine can wear his and he's essentially a walking skeleton. Outside of that you have to be a regular weight female, or are a little child. It'll fit around 60% of your waist at best unless it's a CSM since those are made for adults.
The worst are the belts made prior to the tab method they use now since they were all basically just polyester straps or leather so you are pretty much required to make your own solution. Even with the newer belts you still might need one or two extenders to get them to fit unless you're super overweight. The problem is that the official belt extenders cost like $15 each piece. With homemade belt extensions there's always the worry you'll end up tearing some of the slots due to them constantly being pulled on, or, that's my worry at least.
You can always make your own polyester strap with a clip, but that also involves either removing or breaking and then modifying the bits that clip into the belt so you can fit them in instead. There's a store that sells stuff like that but it's basically a DIY thing:

It also gets worse on stuff like the Birth Belt and the Den-O belts since one of the clips can't come out once you insert it into the driver.

so I assume this is the best thread for this, I can't seem to find a better place for it. Anyway, loved MMPR as a kid. I was 5 at it's height and it will always be a cherished childhood memory. I've been on a Ranger kick lately with the new comics that have been coming out and have been reliving my childhood on Netflix. I ended up finding pic related for $45 at Walmart of all places. It looked like it was on sale. Thing's pretty fucking nice with the diecast metal and shit. I'm actually pretty pleased with it. Just gotta find a Dragon and White Tiger coin. I searched for Tommy's gold morpher and it was like $150 at the cheapest I could find. I'd be content with paying for a few metal coins from etsy or something. Did I do good at $45 /toy/?

I'm glad they retooled Shift Tridoron. The biggest downside to the Shift Cars/Bikes are the lack of internal electronics. Bandai could keep pumping out Lockseeds forever but how many practical retools of the Shift Tridoron can they do?
Considering all the prequel/sequel/side stories they're doing these days I hope the next gimmick and those following it aren't just plastic and stickers.

Ghost's MOTW designs really have suffered, either being to "Sentai" in appearance, or just overall bad.
Plus to add, you can tell they're pushed for budget, since when you see a Ganma Superior(Blue Ganma), they either come in pairs or one at a time(Javel or Igor using it), having to reuse monster designs, and barely able to make new suits.

Gills is nice too and has a great value, but his simple ankle joints are kind of 'meh'. He also lacks a matte coat, but you can fix that yourself. I think he's very cute.

Kabuto is definitely flawed. Fiddly chest, inferior wrist design that doesn't feel as durable, but definitely not a bad figure by any means either.
I'm also not sure if it's just my figure having slight colour fading because it's the first release, or that his red isn't as attractive and vivid as the early Figuarts (unless it's supposed to be that way). Some bro confirm with me pls

I'd recommend making Hibiki one of your next Figuarts purchases, since he's most likely not going to get a reissue due to shelfwarming + his price is gradually climbing. It's only MSRP now or something, but it's only going to continue rising up.

I never saw Decade but pre ordered him anyway, and then later canceled once I thought about it. Not sure I regret it yet but I probably will in the future.
I'm a bit surprised Decade released but his bike isn't in sight yet for even a re release. But they haven't done Hibiki's bike so they aren't 100% committed to what they've been doing.
On another note I'm curious how bad the scale difference between UltraActs and Figuarts are. Sites say 1 cm or so, and the only image I could find looks way too obvious that they're out of scale.

It's also where they got substantially more expensive and stopped including all the relevant accessories (less true for Gaim, but very obvious in the Drive and Ghost lines), so it's a bit of a catch-22.
