The sentinel is 10" or 25cm to the top of the head in upright mode. The koto is 1/100 scale, the height of sahelanthropus standing is 15m or 49' according to the metal gear wiki.

Well for starters the site I ordered from exaggerated the height by an inch and they didn't specify crouching or standing mode. The box it arrived in is over two feet tall so that warped my expectations as well.
Rex only cost a few dollars more and look at the size of that.

Every major import shop I'm seeing has it listed as the same height that is listed on Sentinel's site.

Admittedly that standard 'grid' stand was in some shots. So some of us with other Riobots, could guess at the smaller shelf-presence this would have. Having the original 3A Rex and Ray myself though, made me pass on it for now at least.
That said, still tempted to get this; so if Sentinel worked some magic to get the other two major Metal Gears. Maybe show off a Rex at summer WonFes?

If helps, here's a vid of the Koto kit. Believe the the stand bases between the figure and kit are the same size roughly(unsure if there's an Anon who'd drop the cash for both unfortunately...) So the kit could be bigger in person I think. Though this is just guessing I have to admit, so were stuck waiting on a crazy Anon really to prove anything...

Functionally, that's what it's meant to do, but as Emmerich explained, it's a paper tiger and the technology for it simply doesn't work normally. That's why they have kid mantis help out with that.

Yep, allso the damn thing was never completed and probably would've never been operational if it wasnt for Mantis. Sahelanthropus was a just a concept weapon. The idea of it's existence was meant to put fear in nations and ignite nuclear war just by it's mere existence. The design is just not practical at all which is why you see a significant downgrade in tech with future Metal Gears.
Mine will probably arrive next week. Huum, it looks the same size of my MGS Paks... Cant put them together now...

Tried them all, don't like them. Screens are too glassy-smooth, too much space between the glass and the screen.
Besides which a good number of my friends fell for the Yiynova/Bosto meme and a year later they just bought Cintiqs instead. If you're relying on it for work, constant driver issues and hardware failures are the very last thing you need, and as shitty as their business practices are Wacom at least win in the reliability stakes.
