Power Con Incoming Edition:

Ok, so we are all still waiting and many of us broke down and shelled out the premium for eBay and BBTS to get these suckers in hand, so what's the verdict?

They're great.

Now we just have to sit and wait for the rest to come in. In the meantime, Power Con! 4H said they wanted to have 1.5 to show off / sell there but there has been no official word yet. Here's hoping they have some new stuff to show at least.

If you have the figures, post your pics!

I reeaaally wish I would've got one of the orcs. I'm a dumb fuck for only getting some Knights. What was I thinking??
>>
>>5705597
There will be more in wave 2 anon dont worry
>>
>>5705597
I pretty much did the exact opposite. I love knights and I'm not specifically fond of orcs. Yet somehow I managed to get every Orc character and none of the Knight ones. Now I'm really wishing I grabbed Owain when I had the chance but have an Urkku set to be shipped to me (eventually).

As other anon said, there will be more, and there may even be a rerelease of these figures. So all hope isn't lost. Just have to make sure that next time around you grab the figures you *really* really want the most.

I've waited nearly two years for these guys with absolutely no problems. Now in these last few weeks the wait is finally starting to get to me. Between the knowledge that these guys are almost in my hands combined with seeing everyone else's awesome pics, it's making me way too impatient all of a sudden, to the point I'm tempted to drop 50 bucks on BBTS just to get another of these figures just a few weeks sooner then the rest of my order.

...in the mean time, I've been gathering weapons and display pieces for when my order finally arrives.
>>
>>5705908
Wow, I thought I was going to be the only one abusing the Movie Maniacs display.
>>
>>5705302
When the fuck are they gonna ship these fucking things. Fucking 4h. They manage to fuck up every step of the way every KS.
>>
>>5706004
I dont want to jump on the hate bandwagon either but for real, they sure are taking thier sweet ass time with this, its pretty damn annoying
>>
So am I going to get a shipping notification with tracking? Or will I just get a surprise at the post office a few weeks from now?
>>
>>5706004
>>5706018
Ditto. Even if you add up the All-ins and the 16 piece sets, I think that was still ~250 people. It shouldn't be taking that long, shipping to be recalculated for FedEx or not. I'm starting to think they're holding things back to match up with the pre-orders with ks backers so that they can ship them together and recoup some of the shipping losses.

Got to take my two out for a couple more pictures.

I feel fortunate that I only just got on this wagon at 1.5, I'm not looking forward to the 2.0 haul however, I hope it will not be as agonizing as the 1.0 one seems to be.

I found someone on the board here who bought an Ignatius off BBTS and is passing it to me at cost, it should be here Friday and I'm excited!

Unfortunately, the 4H have always been shit when it comes to shipping things promptly. They're great artists, but bad at good business. They really need to invest in a business manager, especially if their company continues to grow.
>>
>>5706675
Not him, but it's a Sci-Fi Revoltech Skeleton base with a Tamashii flame effect.

Not sure what the sword is from.
>>
I think most posters here need to remember that the four horsemen are just four guys that need to ship many hundreds of toys to many different countries. I'm also waiting for my toys, but complaining about four dudes who "can't ship fast enough" is pretty low. There are more than 25,000 toys total to send, and that is a big fucking number.

They got the figures the last day of april/beginning of may. The first week was lost due to taking inventory and the shipping issue with USPS. They spent the next few weeks shipping out the all ins (there was a LOT more then the 250 shown on the pledge tier, many people ordered multiple all ins or added them on to other pledge tiers) and this week has been kind of screwed over due to the holiday and the major Con coming up that they're attending.

Considering it's only four people, it's a lot of work to do and to get it done right. I'd rather they take their time then rush it and end up with screwed up orders.

>>5706048
Domestic shipments are being sent via Fedex...so probably not. If your delivery is being sent to a residential address you can sign up for Fedex's package tracking and it should alert you when an item with your name on it enters the system.

>>5706056
That's not going to happen, as they're not even combining the KS orders with the FIRST wave of Pre-Orders. It also probably wouldn't save them too much money as the All Ins already need two boxes to ship (which is also something they didn't anticipate) so combining orders will only help so much.

>>5706675
As other anon said, it's the Revoltech Skeleton base, a Tamshii flame effect and the sword is from an old McFarlane Zombie Spawn. Though the sword can be replaced with any number of options, I just like this one because it looks so beat up and bent. I figured if From Software doesn't want to make good DS merch, I'll just have to make my own.
>>
>>5706757
I have the tam flame effect though, none of my pieces look like that one. Unless you cut one up?

The flames that grip limbs are actually made of two parts that you can pry apart safely. The two pieces kind of plug into each other with one large peg holding them together with a second small pegs to keep them from spinning. I just pulled one apart enough to free it from the securing peg, then swiveled the smaller part of the flame so it can stand up.

>>5706789
Personally, I'm waiting till I have my figures in hand before I start making plans to get rid of any of em. And since most of my orcs came from the most recent pre-orders...that can take a while.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fourhorsemen/mythic-legions-action-figures-by-four-horsemen-stu/posts/1592088

>All of the Kickstarter backed Mythic Legions 1.0 All-In sets and 16-piece sets have all shipped (both domestically and international, and we're currently shipping out all of the non-set rewards and misc. orders. We anticipate that taking about two weeks total. After those have all shipped out we'll begin shipping all of the Store Horsemen Mythic Legions 1.0 pre-orders from 2015, followed by the Store Horsemen Mythic Legions 1.0 pre-orders from a couple weeks ago. Even though we'll be at Power Con this coming weekend, our shipping department will still be going full speed to get these things out to you ASAP.

>People have been speculating that the reason we sent the larger sets out first is because those customers might have spent more money than others, but that's not the case at all. We have a very limited space in our warehouse area for shipping purposes, so packing and shipping the larger orders first was an easy way for us to clear out as much workspace as possible in order to be able to fit more people into the shipping area so we can try to ship the rest of the orders out faster to you. Simple lack of useable space logistics.
>>
>>5706931
>Having mentioned Power Con, you might remember that we were going try to have the Mythic Legions 1.5 Unkann figure actually at the 2016 Power Con for sale, and we've managed to do just that! There are going to be a very limited amount of them available at the show that we've had (expensively) air-shipped from our factory to the show, but we just got word that they've arrived at our hotel and that means we'll have them on-hand to sell directly to you if you're in attendance. These are for sale only and we won't be allowing pick-ups at the show for Store Horsemen pre-ordered items. For those of you who have pre-ordered the Unkann figure (as well as the rest of that Mythic Legions 1.5 wave) the fact that we're able to get these in hand is good news for you as well. That means that the factory is nearing the finish of production for the main four figures and the two deluxe trolls shouldn't be too far behind. If it looks like the trolls (which have to go through a different production process than the normal Mythic Legions figures) are going to be taking a lot longer to get in-hand, we'll have the factory ship the four basic figures first, and we'll send the trolls out separately at a later date at no extra charge to those who have pre-ordered them.

>We just got in production samples of the latest wave of Gothitropolis and Mythic Legions bird figures as well. They look spectacular and we're going to try to post a few pics of some of the stand-outs later today or tomorrow. As it stands, it looks like we're going to get those in early to mid-summer at the warehouse and we'll begin shipping those out to Store Horsemen pre-order customers as soon as they arrive.

>We'll keep you updated with more shipping and production news as we get it. The pic below is the shipping area of the Mythic Legions 1.0 figures at lunchtime today. We also tossed in a pic of the Unkann figure for you all to drool over until this weekend at the 2016 Power Con!

Fuck off cornboy. It's not just 4 people. I've been to their place in NJ since I live close by. They have about 15 people working there as far as I can tell. They probably even hire more temp help for this stuff. There was even a receptionist. Just because it's called 4H doesn't mean there's only 4 autismo
>>
I've also grown a little impatient but compared to how long their Gothropolis shit was delayed, I'm grateful.

They got fucked over by UPS so they had to pay out of pocket and that probably delayed the shipping. I'm finally happy to here about that the toys are coming though.

I live in fucking NJ, I wish I could just go pick them up

But seriously though, if there's anyone here from 4h lurking (as i know there are several here from the forum), i really appreciate the work you guys have put into these figures. Got a silver knight from bbts last week and the thing is great. No qc issues at all, and i really fucking hate even slightly loose joints on my figures. Also, bigger and heftier than i expected, in a good way. Stands a bit taller and much more beefy than my black series stormies. I'm waiting patiently for the other 8 or so i ordered, and even if that takes another two months, you guys have earned another long-term customer.

Sadly you've pretty much got it how it's gonna be. The material that the production used is thicker than the the one the 4H made themselves. So that's one reason, plus the collar is a bit high, and it's restrictive. If you have the arms closer to the body, you can bring the whole thing down more, but it'll still look a touch wonky.

Paint chipping on joints is pretty common, joes, star wars, marvel legends
>>
>>5708182
Joints are usually made of a sturdier material and often don't take paint too well.

>>5708139
That seems like it'd be difficult to track down...but there does seem to be some cheaper Jurassic World options I might be able to use. I have a sudden urge to get one for my Urzokk, throw on some paint, some leather work for a bridle and saddle and maybe some bone bits as armor and it would be a fantastic mount for an Orc.

I was looking for more mount variety to add to my collection, and a freaking T-Rex is a fantastic idea.

They really have no rhyme or reason for what and how they do. They have managed to screw up something in every major update. These guys have no business running a toy company.

Don't panic yet though, I made a large order myself fedex has 2 labels created from them Early last week but they haven't managed to ship it yet. It's really fucking stupid that BBTS got theirs first and people that bought from them have theirs in hand already. That's how much they respect their KS backers. Give out to retail first and take pre orders to late comers that slept on the KS.

BBTS got theirs first because they paid to get their order sent to them directly from the factory in China. The 4H never sent BBTS a thing because BBTS worked out a deal to get their (very large) orders directly.

>>5708822
It's not scalping, it's the current resale price for these guys. BBTS had to pay the same prices everyone else did for these guys from the KS (which in this case would be the wholesale price) and to make a profit on them they have to sell them at a higher price. It's no different from wal-mart buying stock from hasbro at $2 a pop and selling it to you at $12.

How come the birds wave 2 preorder are $35 on BBTS?

>I'm cracking. Owain or the Silver Knight in BBTS? Also which Skeletons are the most based?
If you know how to be patient, get the Silver Knight re-release. Remember these were meant to be $15 army builder, not $45 scalped madness
>>
Going to make a handle for the shield that came with my knight because I don't like how the clip cut into his forearm plastic. What's a good little plastic tube to grab?
>>
>>5709193
You could just cut of the C-clamp shield handle, then apoxie sculpt a proper handle onto it
>>
>>5709208
That's what I was going to do. Except you don't need to cut off the c-clamp, it's removable. I'm just wondering what would work for s proper handle.
>>
>>5709181
$18, now $22. I know I'm ordering more when they come back. Probably at $25 then
>>
>>5709181
>How come the birds wave 2 preorder are $35 on BBTS?

Because, again, BBTS worked out a deal with the 4H to get them for their wholesale price. Being re-issues with minor new parts, there isn't a need to repay for tooling the molds, so the cost of the second run of these guys is much cheaper for the 4H. With that in mind, they worked with BBTS so that they too can sell the birds, but only if they kept the price in line with what the 4H themselves were selling them at.

The first wave of birds sold on BBTS were actually MUCH higher priced then even the current ML figures. Hell, they still have some of the original birds for sale, 70ish bucks a pop, with the price per figure varying based on assumed popularity. But because they do so much business with each other now, BBTS is limiting it's resale cost of the legions at the request of the 4H.

>>5709193
>>5709208
I'm trying to figure out a non-apoxie way to make a handle for these shields myself. The clip on shields is very much my biggest gripe about these figures, because every other issue is something I can easily let slide. But when you have figures with such detailed and intricate paint work as some of these guys, the last thing you would want to do is scrap up their arms by forcing awkwardly attached shields to them. Hopefully in the future the 4H listen to fan suggestions and use basic handles, just simple L-shaped grips that peg onto the shield, and drop the crappy C-clips from any future items they release.

I can't help but feel like I should have gotten Owain instead of Gideon...
>>
>>5712306
I was going to say that Gideon will probably get a reissue, but so will Owain, maybe. I don't know i the numbers were much lower but the knights seemed really popular.
>>
>>5712306
Gideon is one of the most unique character out there, with adjustable visor, unique helmet, etc. He's way more unique than Owain, who's just a painted version of silver knights. We might not get an Owain reissue, but 4H gonna do repaint of the mold for sure 100%.

On another note, I fell into the 'Murica bird meme, shelled out $80 on ebay and he's not that great. He had a red paint splotch on his face, and the wing attachment is very loose wouldn't stay spread out. On top of that his color scheme makes him looks like wearing modern Avengers captain america costume and doesn't match the other birds. Makes me wonder on whether I should cancel my PO on birds wave 2, he's my 3rd bird and the reused body molds kind of getting stale
>>
>>5712369
I was so tempted by 'MERICA until some were fussing about messing with the birds. I know people hamhands things all the time, but I dont think I would get the joy out of it that I thought I might. Legions got me early on. Knights and skeletons doing the fantasy stuff. Fills the gap while Boss Fight dont get to Series 2 Hacks already

The only differences between Owain and the Silver Knight builder is their color and their collars. Everything else, even their weapon selection, is exactly the same.

http://www.amazon.com/Medieval-Trakk-Wolves-Action-Figure/dp/B002YQM4YI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1465066893&sr=8-1&keywords=medieval+trakk

An older figure, and possibly one you can find cheaper on ebay. He also comes with a knife (with sheath attached to his hip), a bucket helm (seen on a ML skeleton), a large sword, which kind of works but the handle could use some trimming so it doesn't ruin a Legion figure's hand and of course the shield.

The shield has a built in soft rubbery plastic strap that's supposed to hold it to the arm. But for the Legions, and their much thinner limbs, I had to make a simple apoxy handle so it can keep it secured to him. It works very well and gives him a good range of motion while holding the shield.

As for the figure that comes with all these accessories, he's pretty decent, but definitely a product of his time. All of his joints except his shoulders are basic cut-swivel joints, including the dreaded V-cut crotch. He doesn't even get real elbows, but rather they're bicep cut swivels and permanently bent arms. The helmet also doesn't really fit well on his head, the way he grips his sword is kind of wonky, the shield doesn't really stay on his arm all that well...but he holds the dagger real well!

But his sculpt and paint work are pretty fabulous, and worth buying him for that alone. He's also massive, beefy and would make a great enemy in a fantasy army for your legions to battle.
>>
>>5713239
Where do you get the cross torso strap?
>>
>>5713270
It's made from actual leather lacing (got it from Micheal's craft store) and a piece of "shirt" I cut off of the Diamond Select Van Helsing figure. It's also where the belt comes from. The shoulder piece is actually the back of the shirt that hangs off the belt when removed from the Van Helsing figure.

>>

Can you not read his post?

It's from another figure.
>>
>>5713735
Lol, that's honestly kind of expected. I can't tell you how many times I've answered the same questions over and over again.

>>5713713
The Bucket Head knight is a actually a modified Test Shot of Clavian (the red skeleton) mixed with parts from my Owain test shot. The helmet itself is from a completely different figure, which I talk about in the post above.

The helmet is actually a bit oversized, but fits loosely on the skull head and kind of works with the high collar (the back of the helm hangs over the back of the collar). Without the collar though it can look kind of silly.
>>
>>5713239
Hey thanks. He does look pretty decent. Would look nice next to my original gandalf, and lord of the nazgul toy vault figures
>>
So I've never spent over 25$ on a figure. I'm just not that avid of a collector, and I can't justify the price for myself. That being said, is the standard silver knight figure worth dropping the 45$ on Big Bad Toy Store? I've just finished the Dark Souls game, and I'm itching for something tangible to get my fix
>>
>>5714870
NO

He'll get reissued for $22 soon. But you have to be vigilant and check the 4H thread often, they sold out really fast
>>
>>5714873
Yeah I was on this previous sale, but they didn't have the silver knight or standard smelly in stock. Literally the only two I wanted.

What's the best place to stay up to date with 4H. I've been checking here.
>>
>>5714878
Pretty much here. The forums over at 4H are up to date but someone will usually always post important info here whenever it shows up.
>>
>>5714873
>>5714878

The Silver Knight and Standard Skeleton didn't "sell out" fast, they just never came into stock. The Factory shorted them on their order. In fact they had such low stock, some backers didn't get their full orders of some of the legion builders.

But this June/July they'll have another sale of the wave 1.5 guys, and included with them will be the Silver Knight, Standard Skeleton, SIlver Dwarf and Legion Orc figures. if you wait a bit you can get those figures at 20-ish bucks each directly from the 4H shop itself.

That said, yes these guys are worth the price BBTS is charging...but only if you had no other option.
>>
I had heard after the last sale, that there was possibly going to be one in June. Any truth in that?
>>
>>5714931
Lol just asked about this. Righteous! I'm hoping I can get a skelly and a knight.
>>
>>5714931
$45 for $22 MSRP figure with single jointed elbow and barebone (i.e. literally no paint) by design for army builders? You guys are crazy. NECA sell stuff for $22 with more paint and about similar articulation compared to these guys. Same deal with the Marvel Selects, mostly unique sculpts for $22. Import figuarts stuff is $45 and all of them almost always have unique sculpts, better/cleaner paint application, way way more joint engineering, etc.

Even if you miss the supposedly June/July preorder session, Silver Knight or the knight mold will be for sure get rereleased.
>>
>>5714933
>>5714936
Seeing as they were able to get the 1.5 Orc figure, which is based on the He-Man character Man-At-Arms, in time for Powercon (going on this weekend) it shows that the next group of figures are almost ready to be shipped from the factory.

The Legion Builder figures will be put up for sale when the 1.5 wave goes up, so later this month/early next month is a strong possibility.

>>5714948
In this case, the $22 price tag is more of the wholesale price as that's what the manufacturer (the 4H) is selling them directly to the market as. $45 would actually be the MSRP in this case because that's what the 4H limited BBTS to sell these things at. Because I guarantee BBTS could price these guys higher and still move them.

You also can't really compare companies like Neca and Diamond Select with the 4H as those companies produce figures FAR more figures and distribute them to major retailers all over the world. Smaller run figures always run at higher prices, regardless of complexity or design. The more you produce of an item, the lower it's unit cost gets. When you have small, limited figure runs, the price per unit raises dramatically.

With that scarcity in mind, had they not already confirmed a mid-summer restock, $45 for these figures would be well worth it.
>>
>>5714870
If you have the disposable income, i'd recommend picking it up just to be safe. I got one and it's awesome, the paint and articulation aren't figma level, but there's really no other figure like it available now. And it's perfect for a fluted knight/astora knight custom if you're into that. By itself it could pass for either anyway. I've never customized a figure, but this one gives me ideas like no other has, and i honestly think the lack of paint helps with that. Owain's cool, but he has too much shit on him. All that gold just looks too toy-ish to me. That said, the weapons the legion builder comes with are just a solid gold color, which is kinda shitty.

How's the cape?

Tibius' was garbage that you had too much cloth.
>>
>>5715358
Curiously, Gorgo and the Blood Knight have capes made from different materials. Gorgo's is notably softer, which I prefer.
The way the cape is designed, you fold it in half in order to attach it to the figure. In Gorgo's case, this isn't that big of a deal, because the cape is softer and just looks like folding cloth. However, the Blood Knight's more stiff fabric looks a bit more crumpled and does not hang as realistically.

Not a huge detractor, but I can see how in any case "too much material" would be used to describe it. Overall though it just makes the cape feel sturdier and less prone to ripping. An understandable trade off, I suppose.

>>
>>5715568
The Pauldrons, Collars, hip armor (attached to the waist armor) and loin armor are all removable. The armor like the breastplate and gauntlets and stuff are all solid molded pieces.

You CAN swap parts between figures, the ones listed above are swapped easily while limbs and such require the boil-n-pop trick to switch around.

Long story short. The armor is not cast-off removable. But parts can be swapped between figures with relative ease.

>>
>>5715650
My biggest problem with the Blood Knight isn't just that he's the same exact build as Gorgo with a different set of horns, but the fact that he was FAN voted to be an exact build of Gorgo...with different horns.

Basically, the backers had a chance to make something that was entirely unique, a bucket helmed black knight, a fully armored skeleton warrior, a surcoat wearing viking champion, anything completely new. Instead...we got red Gorgo with horns. To me, it was a fairly disappointing result, especially when you consider that there were some pieces (sword looped belt, small layered loin armor etc) that were only used on a single figure from the entire line. And those unused parts could've made for a far more unique Fan voted exclusive character.

There was never any doubt the character that came from the vote would look great, it was a 4H built figure after all. But that chance to make something truly different from the rest of the line fell short. That said, the Barbarian Builder set DID come from the end results of the voting and the same rabid fan base who built Vorgus, so it's not all bad.

And he is, indeed, a fantastic looking figure.

>Speaking of which, has 4H said anything on how long this line will carry on for?

At this point, the line seems to be something they intend to continue with for as long as possible. Previously, their figure lines were based around one specific character, and then padded out with variants using alt heads and some minor modifications. With the Mythic Legion figures, the idea is to create a library of completely interchangeable parts that can be mixed and reused countless times. Combined with the backstory they're crafting for these figures, the 4H basically intend to mix and any all future character concepts into the Mythic Legion world and figure line to keep costs down while keeping variety of figures up.

This can be seen in how easily they were able to create four completely unique figures for the 1.5 wave, or how with even just new heads they created another four brand new characters shown off at Toy Fair. Even the second wave of figures based on the Raven line were absorbed into the Mythic Legions line, with one even being made into the heroic factions deity. Even if the only new pieces this line received were new heads, there is enough possible combinations of parts to make thousands of new figures....and yet we know for a fact wave two will feature multiple new body types and figure molds.

Basically, this line *should* last a long, long time.

Also, those pics of Gorgo and Vorgus look great, I like the idea of Vogus using the spear while Gorgo sticks with the sword-n-board. Just giving them different weapons is enough to have them feel like two very different figures, despite how similar they are to each other.
>>
>>5715204
Yeah I'm less concerned about weapons. I'm not sure about the size if their hands but they look to be about ninja turtles/xevos size and I have an abundance of weaponry from those lines.

>>5716342
...lazy isn't the word I would use to describe the voters. In fact they were more...rabid...in their choices. There were actually many heated (though friendly) debates on the forums during the voting process with many fans being very vocal about their preferred choice of build. Hell, the actual backstory they went with on the official figure came from the fans collectively piecing together an origin and personality for the figure long before voting even finished. Even his name was specifically chosen by the fan community, being worked and tweaked until we ended up with what was officially on his package.

Lazy? No, certainly not. Uninspired? Not particularly. Unoriginal? Yea, that's kind of where it fell imo.

>>5716374
Minotaur the Duck, the KS exclusive from the original run is looming behind the two ML figures in this pic here >>5713239. And while I don't have an exact pic comparing the two, the birds are a fairly comparable size to the knights. To the top of the helm, most ML figures are about 6.5" tall, the birds can stand a bit taller then that, depending on how their legs are bent.

So I just noticed, it looks like this is the full armor orc body, but with a skelehead swapped. Is it pretty easy like >>5715596 mentioned? Is there a green neck it's attached to where it'd look weird if you saw in the armor?
>>
>>5716447
The neck on the armored torsos is also removable. In fact you pop the neck off to remove the collar. I know there's an armored neck and a bone neck, but I don't believe there is a bare skin neck except for the one built into the bare skin torso.

Since that torso is all one piece it can't use collars. But it would look kind of wierd (or awesome, depending on your opinion) to have a skull on a flesh body.

If I had the figures myself, I would try it, but are you're asking if it's possible?
Because if so then yes it is, as heads are completely interchangeable throughout the line and most skeletons already use the same torso piece as the armored orc.
If you're asking what it looks like, that can be found here >>5706163.
If you're asking if a custom armored skeleton can work as a stand in for good ol' Gaiseric, then that's a resounding...maybe?

I mean, when using the spiked armor bits a lot of similarities can be found between em, but he just doesn't have the same little touches that make the Skull Knight so unique and imposing. With some custom work you might be able to get a decent approximation, but at that point you might as well buy and mod the big guy himself.

And before you ask, it's a Skull Kight figure by Art of War and he's a barely articulated statue. He's got a limited swivel neck, swivel shoulders...that detach the pauldrons when moved. Hinged elbows...in his forearms. A waist swivel and then nothing else down below. His sword is a crappy rubbery plastic that can't hold it's own weight and is permanently warped, the shield is a glued on clip on shield, with an actual groove molded into his wrist when you do remove it and every single point on him is sharp as hell. He's kind of a terrible toy...but got damn if he isn't badass looking.

>>5717802
I always Found it odd how they hold their shields in Dark Souls. They're essentially holding them upside down as you want to be able to use the pointed end as a jabbing attack on your enemies while using the broader end to cover more of your upper body and vital areas.

>>5717825
>>5717871
At this point, we don't know what characters, or even how many, or when, things will see a restock/re-release. The only figures we know, for sure, that are coming in june are the 1.5 guys and the standard/silver legion builders. For many figures, grabbing them off BBTS now isn't exactly a terrible idea.

Hurrah, Owain has vanquished his foe!

>>5718344
Urzokk looks better than I anticipated. The Black Knight is a little over the top but I'm liking that armour set up so I might grab him since I missed out on this lovely orc here.

Those are some amazing pics and it made me glad I finally bit the bullet on the barbarian builder. I can't wait to get my KS order in, and I wish I had awesome out door areas like that to work with.
>>
Got my skeleton from BBTS today, might post a pic in a few hours if I have time. The sculpt is fantastic, especially the skull. Don't regret paying almost double since I really wanted this one. Only thing I'd like is some alternate hands with a looser grip so I wouldn't have to worry about stretching these out if I wanted to use non-Legions weps.

I want a barbarian builder and a wep pack too but the BBTS prices are too much for me on those.
>>
I want the Golden Skeleton. He seemed like he was unpopular so there probably isn't much chance he'll get a comeback. That makes me sad. I'm also hesitant to drop $40 USD plus around $10 USD shipping for him from BBTS, which in CanuckleBucks is more than I'm willing to pay. This saddens me. I wonder if come the reissue of the regular skeleton someone would trade me or something.
>>
You guys broke Me. I love the 4H stuff, but passed on the KS.

Just ordered the Blood Armor Knight and Skree Vampire Knight.

That Barbarian builder also looks sweet. Definitely channeling some Frazetta Death Dealer there.

I feel it's an absurdly missed opportunity for them to not maintain stock of Legion Builders at the very least. All the parts are there, just throw an additional restock of them in with every mid-wave release. I can understand not keeping stock of all the named or unique characters (there's far too many of them to keep in store) but the Legion Builders are MEANT to be army built, so it's almost guaranteed they'll move as soon as they come in stock.

I hope so. I only backed for one figure and a weapon pack, so I imagine I'm near the end of the list.

I did order a few more later on though, but they're not for some time.

They're most limited in the arms. They'd be 10/10 if they had deeper elbow bends and an 11 if they did that shoulder thing some marvel legends do. Articulation wise I'd put them at a 7-7.5. They are very photgenic though.

Army builders Standard Skeleton and Silver Knight, the Green Skeleton Knight and not-Orlok, and the weapons pack with the hammer and the magic staff.

And then once I get Sir Godfrey and Unkarr that I pre-ordered from 4H themselves, I can do some proper necromancer fight scenes.

How is Brienne? Is she as bad as the rest of Funko's stuff? Ever since the ML line started, I've been collecting various fantasy figures to bolster my ranks but I've been very hesitant on the GoT guys since I hear their clear joints get super loose and break easily.

Anyone else feel a little bit slighted over BBTS getting to sell these to the public before the Kickstarter backers even get theirs?

I understand BBTS probably paid four horsemen a bunch to be able to do this, and helped them greatly make enough to produce the figures in the first place, so it makes sense.

Still makes me feel the feels though.
>>
>>5719722
It isn't any different than backers who are putting some of their figures up for ebay. The only difference is that BBTS is scalping less than them.
>>
>>5719722
It's the difference of the factory shipping directly to BBTS and not having to go through the horseman's warehouse like the rest of it.
It's nothing to be slighted over, it's just legistics.
>>
>>5719710
Dont think so, I think I remember reading somewhere that the molds were lost or destroyed.

>>5719733
>>5719738
Gotta disagree on that, people who didnt even back the project havent got thiers yet, but the general public "technicly" can get them before the backers. Ideally 4H would get off thier asses and ship the items asap instead of taking so long.
>>
>>5719848
Well hell I fucked that post up, whatever you guys know what I mean.
>>
>>5719848
Y'all niggas need to chill out a little and be patient.
At least you know things are in hand and making their way out to people.

If you want to be mad about it, try buying something from ThreeZero, where you wait over a year with no news and then out of the blue get an email saying there is a delay with no word for what reason and how long the delay is.
In comparison a month is really not a lot to be stressed over.
>>
>>5720093
>be patient for something we have paid for that they have just sitting at the warehouse

yeah nah
>>
>>5720093
If it was an ebay seller, you paid for it and said user ships it like 2 months later you'll be upset. Same with Amazon, especially prime. Same with BBTS, Entertainment Earth, Amiami or any other online vendor. Literally no excuses of 'muh small famirry business operation.
>>
Can someone stick these guys next to a marvel legend? Would they be able to swap out arms and shit with them?

it's logistics, fyi.

Hey did any of the KS backers get their artbook??

My set showed up. Got the Barbarian builder pack, Golden Skeleton, Attlus, Sir Valguard and some weapon packs. Damn these are nice!! The art book was on my invoice but not in the box.
>>
>>5720416
Think they said the artbook was delayed in a previous update.
>>
>>5720416
Yeah it won't be in there. It was on one of the updates. They didn't want books to hold you up so they'll ship it free of charge to you later is what they said.

>>
I'd been meaning to ask. How are the joints out of box?
Any sticking issues or have they just worked so far?
>>
>>5720562
No sticking, but they're kind of stiff - which is generally good except paints do rub on some of your shinier figure
>>
Got a shipping update from FedEx today finally! After sitting for a week and a half with the label created! Looks like it will get here the 11th!
>>
>>5720555
I want but can never have the Golden Skellie. :(
>>
Fug, thought I got Vitus with my original pledge but I just checked it and didn't, now I have to get him from bbts. At least he isn't sold out yet.
>>
I finally got my order earlier today. Mostly skeletons and I'm happy with them but the paint on my Barbarian Builder is pretty fucked. I hadn't even worked the joints yet and there's a big scrape of translucent white plastic exposed on the shoulder. I can conceal it with the shoulder armor but I'm worried about where else it might rub off.

>mfw I'm retarded
>>
>>5721030
Yep, see >>5718154 I'm fairly disappointed in the fact that the exposed flesh is apparently shitty paint or the shoulders just have shitty clearance. Knees too where the power leg guards touch them. Everything else is great, but that's very disappointing. Like you said though, the shoulder armor hides it, but still.

I'm particularly hype that they mentioned a female vampire character idea being brought up before.
Sounds like my Carpathias will have a girlfriend, yknow, in a few years.
>>
>>5721052

Like any other online specialty shop, some prices are good, some are shit. Check at least 3 or 4 places out before you buy anything, including eBay and Amazon. I've seen people jerking off over amiami and other shit and then bought the exact same thing cheaper on fucking Amazon with Prime shipping.
>>
>>5721052

it's that or no Mythic legions... or ebay prices mane.
>>
>>5718760
I think it's funny two of those characters are played by the same person.

I imagine it will be the Gothitropolis vampire queen, like the 4H did with the ravens, dropping them from Gothitropolis and folding it under the Mythic Legions.Which is a shame, since I love Scarabus and Gothitropolis in general.
