Can any Technic fans explain to me the appeal of Technic?
I have long been a Lego fan but I just never got why Technic was so popular. All the vehicles look really ugly and gappy to me

larger scale, more play features. The figures are bigger than minifigs and more poseable, with hands that fit a standard technic pin instead of bar. Look at this thing for instance - an all-terrrain van with four steering wheels!
my impressions may be slightly out of date.

It's not about the aesthetic, but it toes add some challenge that is fun to overcome. It's all about what's underneath
