I don't know why, but her neck just looks wrong.
Also FIGMA >>>>>>>>> SHITARTS
Her body is alright, but they completely fucked up her head/face and neck. I can't even put my finger on what it is they could do to fix it.
I don't know what is making me feel this way, but this figure really just looks like a normal human wearing a creepy anime girl helmet/mask.

Oh look, it's this thread again...
MOTAHBIKE?
>>5696462
That's the feeling I get with 90% of figuarts anime figures.
>>5696335
For some reason their clothes still look a bit stiff compared to figma, but they are improving a lot. And that's great, variety and competitiveness are always good.
>>5696428
Bandai has this habit of making the lower face protrude forward too much. It really does not look good on anime designs.
>>5696335
That's a cool bike

The face is too "flat." It literally looks like a mask with eye decals on it. Masaki Apsy understands how a 2D face is supposed to look in 3D and that's why Figmas have always looked so much better than their competition. You'd think Bandai would sit some sculptors down and get to the bottom of this problem, but I guess they're too busy churning out a dozen SHFs a month to reflect on why Figma keeps kicking their ass.

>Masaki Apsy understands how a 2D face is supposed to look in 3D and that's why Figmas have always looked so much better than their competition.
To be fair, this could easily be flipped to
>Bandai understands how a 3D face is supposed to look in 1/12 scale and that's why Figuarts have always looked so much better than their competition.
Another example of 'should have been a figuarts'.
This is legitimately one of the creepiest looking figures I've ever seen.

>figuarts defense force
That first guy made literally the exact same point you just did, retard.
Ichigo came out fine.
All Hane needs is for her collar to be lowered so she doesn't appear to have floating shoulders, maybe thin out her neck a bit.
>>5697409
>the exact same point you just did
I'm not even the same guy.
Anyways,
>thread about anime figuarts looking wrong
>talking about how Apsy understands the 2D faces better as a comparison to this
>for no real reason some anon starts talking about 3D realistic faces to defend figuarts
>starts posting pics of shitty realistic figmas when realistic figures were never the point of the thread
You must be new if you don't notice the typical Bandaidrone behavior.
And mind you, I collect both figuarts and figmas, but I'm pretty fed up of this kind of shit. Both figmas and figuarts have strong points and weak points that need improvement, there's no need to take this as an attack against your beloved company.
>>5697440
Except for the """shadow""" under her skirt.
>>5697452
I'm the one who posted the pics of the shitty figma.
I collect figures from both brands.
This thread was turning into a Figma>>>>Bandai company war thread so I made a post stating how easily the tables can be flipped if you pick on one of Figma's weaker aspects.
>Both figmas and figuarts have strong points and weak points that need improvement
That is pretty much my point.
>>5696335
Whats wrong with bandai?
>>5697498
Crummy joints, mold seams, seen some shit lifeless expressions, stiff as brick torsos, fail ass sculpts, and the worst 1/12 stands. If they even come with them.
> b but, muh perfect bugmen
Sorry, but they obviously have multiple departments, and whoever does the anime stuff needs work.
>>5697498
She be spreading lies boy
>>5697528
>the worst 1/12 stands
LOL no, I buy Tamashii Stages for all my figures. Never had them break on me like those shitty figma ones. The only issue is they can get loose over time, but at least you're able to buy more unlike with figma.
>Figuarts gives an accurate representation of the character
>Figma looks like someone designing based on their memory alone
B-but Figuarts are the shitty ones, that's what all the memes tell me.
Do we really need to do this shit again?
I'm a goddamned SHF fanboy and feel like Figma are almost never worth the money and even I know that Figma does anime characters a million times better.
>>5697849
Tamashii stands are great. I'm talking about the garbage ones they pack in with Cure or Sailormoon figures.
Basically for every 3 of those kinds of figures, I need to buy a stand pack.
Meanwhile, figma supplies everything, and they even provide add on parts for certain figures to cater to strangely shaped parts, long hair, flying friend mascots etc.
>enjoy the Bakuon!! anime
>gee, I wonder if there are any toys
>Onsa Amano is Japan only exclusive
well, shit
