My Meiya Mitsurugi is giving me no end of problems, some of her hands are very loose to fit, some are tight, and her head joint is sooooo tight im scared of breaking her. Also her right leg doesnt quite line up with the knee and thigh, it's sort of off the one side.
Any of that sound like fake alarm bells in your heads? I've checked it out and im 99% sure it's legit but I feel like I might have to buy another one at some point.

I'm not bothered by the increasing prices as much as I am by the decrease in quality releases as time goes by. It feels like we're just getting figures with less and less stuff, and that feeling gets exacerbated with things like pre-order exclusives, and the introduction of the figfix line which contain the other half of accessories for some characters. I wouldn't mind paying more if the price reflected the actual value of the purchase but paying MORE for a figure that has LESS compared to a figure I bought in the past and with way more accessories is what really gets to me.

Overall, 9/10 figma. Hidden ab joint underneath the jacket that doesn't break up the look. Decent accessory count if you count the di:stage stuff. Doesn't feel as frail as my other figma animu girls. It's fucking Duke Togo. I've wanted this guy for literal years. Definitely does not disappoint, especially considering I waited for so long to get him and that he's such an old figure in the line. The only things I could mention if I was being nitpicky is that his wrist pegs are a bit noticeable from some angles, and that his joints break up the sculpt of his limbs when bent, but again, he's figma number 42 in a line with ~230+ figures subsequent to his release.

Did not work in what way? Myself I usually do some paint coats of the same/similar colour as the figure to create a nice layer that can loosen over time, but also avoids damaging the figure. Though I have done super glue and certain other chemicals before on more obvious parts to avoid obvious marks.

As far as the shipping option, they frequently specify certain types of shipping as unavailable on the item listing. Did you check that? Post the item link. If it's not that, it could just be an automated tidbit, like SAL is unavailable BECAUSE the item is sold out. Really it doesn't matter, because it wasd already sold out anyway.

Where I'm from, when you get a package from another country, it has a big label on it with your address, a vague description of what's in the box (no flammable liquids or banned substances/items allowed) and the value of the item.
Depending on if the item is worth more than a certain amount of money (set by the government), you have to pay tax on it.
Undervaluing is basically lying about how much the item is worth, so it's less likely to get taxed, marking the item as a gift gives it an even greater chance of evading tax.

Apply some clear nail polish or floor shine on the loose peg and let it dry. Too thight? Sand it down.

Depends where its loose. Warm up the leg and foot, then pull the foot off.
If the joint is loose at (1) wrap a bit of masking tape on the peg, not too much.
If it is loose at (2), you may need to water down some PVA glue and drip a bit into the hinge, hopefully it seeps in. Or maybe heat up the joint and disassemble it then drip some glue into the connecting pieces.

I am looking to buy the Asuka figma.
So far the only major worry/issue I have about it is the "floating boobies". I see conflicting reviews, some saying they are fine, some saying they look detached, floaty, and weird. I have a Ryuko figma and I could see the same thing argued for hers but I think it looks fine.
I was considering the Revoltech Asuka in the anime suit (which I like far better than the test plug suit) but >revoltech. Plus the figma comes with the cockpit.
Is there a better option than the figma Asuka? What are your thoughts /toy/?

Yes, you'd have to box the figure up as best you can and send it back.
All you have to do is open up a return case (pic related), explain that you received a bootleg when the item wasn't advertised as such, eBay almost always sides with the buyer so you should get your money back. They'll send you a shipping label to send it back, you'll be given a receipt with a tracking number on it to prove you've sent it back, then you just wait a day or two to get a refund. The seller can't really do anything.
I've done this a few times. I once bought a figure which was used but advertised as 'excellent condition', when I received it, all the joints had been super glued together, I was so pissed off I opened a return case and sent it back the same day it arrived.
