Exactly why I urgently want SS Ryuki.
When first released he is like the most perfect Ryuki figure I ever want.... But after 3-4 years, his feet became extremely loose and since the paint chipped a lot I had to repaint it many times.
The proportion didn't bother me a lot aside of the hands that a bit bigger.
Sadly I still had to wait for SS Faiz or OOO been released before him (it also in the scenario if Kiva or even Kamen Rider 1 didn't shoehorned between the release)

They had to redesign that Iphone style box to include Dragreder with Ryuki. Also a regular SHFSS is now already pretty expensive with 6000 yen price tag, including Dragreder with Ryuki will make it around 8000-9000 yen.
So I don't think do, also the reason they include Dragreder with Ryuki in previous release is because they want to BTFO Max Factory with their Kamen Rider Dragon Knight Figma release (that actually sell like hotcakes before Bandai announcing SHF version.)
My guess is either the SS Ryuki will be compatible with previous release or they will redesign Dragreder as separate release. (like Ryuki Survive & Dragranzer case.)

Star Wars is one of the big figuarts lines now.
Precure is on the decline, not even the Pink is general release these days. But Aikatsu has been surprisingly successful for how late the line is.
Kinnikuman was popular enough that they're moving into WWE now which could be good down the road.
Naruto and Sailor Moon are pretty stable.
Real individuals always seem popular too like Bruce Lee or Freddie Mercury
And they're trying new things. Ranma, Metal Heroes, Lupin, Digimon, Turtles, Love Live, Nintendo, Cardcaptors Sakura, even some DC heroes for Injustice. The line isn't only a few series.

If I had to hazard a guess, the figure probably has some coiled copper wire inside the torso, attached to an LED in the head. The base probably produces a weak radio signal, like an NFC reader would, and the copper coil in the figure acts as an antenna, picking up these radio waves when the figure is placed on the base. The radio waves can't power an awful lot, but they can absolutely light up a single LED.

Honestly, I don't think it would require a lot of changes to the figures themselves. LEDs are pretty small, and if they're using the sort of coil-antenna setup that I think they're using, then the amount of space in a bugman torso would be more than enough. You're right in that the figures would be a bitch to take apart, though, and the neck articulation might be a little hindered.

Ankh-Shingo is must and would be a great, GREAT release along the inevitable SHFSS OOO. You can even think of him as an upgrade to the SHF Ankh arm set. Engineer him like SHF Tony Stark. Allow him to switch his Greeed arm with his normal one, and his Greeed arm can be used alone to boot.

Of course, if you've already paid for the item+shipping before them asking for more, politely tell them to fuck off and that you shouldn't have to pay extra due to them messing up.
