What's the best figure out there of this beautiful green blooded son of a bitch? Also, Star Trek figure thread? You never see those...
Bump for a little input
The best Trek line was the one started by Art Asylum and continued by Diamond Select. This might help.

Probably this one.

Mezco One:12.
>>5681570
They only have the license for the originals I think they said but if it does really well I imagine the next thing they'd try to pick up would either be TNG or the current movies
>tfw there will never be good DS9 figures because no one cares about it
>>5681659
ds9 is overrated, and more anti-trek, it's what led to the JJ verse and modern Trek drek.
>>5681828
>ds9 is overrated, and more anti-trek
Roddenberry was a clueless douche who cheated on his wife with any actress he could nail, and was insincere in much of his bullshit. DS9 didn't lead to JJ, Paramount being clueless led to JJ.
>>5681828
>ds9 is overrated, and more anti-trek
Yeah kind of. Still consistently better written than the other Trek series though.
>it's what led to the JJ verse and modern Trek drek
No that was Enterprise. And don't act like DS9 caused enterprise. Rick Berman without a leash caused Enterprise.
I remember seeing some TNG 1/6s on HLJ during their spring sale, anyone know if they're any good?
>>5681873
Why the wife comment? are you his son?
Mattel keeps releasing Star Trek Barbies, wich makes no sense to me. Doesn't seem like the sort of characters people into fashion dolls would be interested to me.
>>5681873
>with any actress he could nail
Did you see the quality of women in TOS? They casted 60s Playboy girls for roles, of course he would cheat if given the opportunity.
>>5682210
I think you're getting the cause and effect mixed up.
>>5682120
>wah you're not telling everyone Roddenberry was a saint
Newsfuckignflash- Trek was only good because of everyone BESIDES Roddenberry.
If TNG had gone exactly the way he wanted to, it would've been unwatchable shit.
>NO interpersonal conflicts whatsoever
>NO references to TOS whatsoever
>NO aliens from TOS whatsoever
Notice how TNG really got great right after Gene left the show and the staff was able to cut loose? We never would've gotten that epic fight fight between Picard and his brother if Gene were still around.
Gene got old and started this "humanity is so enlightened" crap which was always stupid as hell. DS9 threw that out the window for something that was plausible and the fantasy fanboys hated that. Bring up that he was a piece of shit human being in the TOS days and they get real mad. This was a guy who fucked a business partner out of massive royalties by writing lyrics to the TOS theme, even though there was no intention to use them, just so he could get songwriting credit.
>>5682328
>NO references to TOS whatsoever
Didn't take them long to break that one, the second episode in the entire series is a sequel to a TOS episode!
>>5682878
and that only happened because Gene was overturned constantly by the other writers, executives, and anyone else with more sense.
Making a sequel series with zero references would be fucking dumb. It does go to the theory that Gene was suffering some mental illnesses late in life.
>>5682878
Also, McCoy is in the first episode.
>>5682328
>unwatchable shit
Hey you never know, the ferengi porn could've been interesting.
Are there any good models of the non-enterprise ships?
>>5683031
Playmates did some large ones that aren't too hideously priced, if you want big ships.
That recent board game has some but they're expensive. Otherwise, Micro Machines.
>>5683031
There's also a 1/2500 scale of quite a few ships, which is nice since the DS9 model is ~1/2500 scale if you like everything being in scale with each other.
>>5683031
Eagelmoss has been releasing a lot of ace diecast ships.
>>5683268
Did they make a DS9?
>>5683303
Yes they did.
>>5683268
Damn those look pretty good.
>>5683051
>Playmates did some large ones that aren't too hideously priced,
Except Voyager.
FUCKING DST VOYAGER WHEN
ALL I WANT
IS A BIG NON-KIT VOYAGER WITH MOVING NACELLES
>>5682259
Regardless, it was the age of torpedo tits and I am sad that I wasn't alive to experience it but completely understand Roddenberry getting as much of it as possible.
>>5684136
get the old playmates one from the time the show was on, it's out there, and has motorized nacelles.
>>5681826
>look it up
>it costs like twice as much as the regular one
what the fuck
>>5686935
It was some convention exclusive, I think.
>>5682018
>Not liking Enterprise
>Not wanting a T'Pol figure
Fags.
>>5690953
They could've been J cups, still wouldn't have been enough to redeem the first three seasons.
>>5690980
>muh Roddenberry
keep putting that wife-cheating hack on a pedestal.
>>5691047
Yeah anon that's totally the only reason to think Enterprise sucks. Has nothing to do with the horribly structured episodes and the mediocre characters.
>>5691050
still better than the pointless Abrams reboot written by the untalented fags that wrote Bayformers.
>>5685716
BBTS emailed me that it was available yesterday
>>5691060
You can dislike nutrek AND enterprise

fuck off, Ent had a lot of decent stories I like.
>>5683747
Just don't order directly from Eaglemoss themselves, they're a horrible company to deal with. Last year I ordered Voyager from them, and at least a month went buy with no sign of it and no word from them. Went looking for their customer support email just to have my email message bounce back because they shut down the American support division without telling anyone. Got ahold of their home division in the UK and they told me my Voyager never shipped because they had been sold out the entire time(even though they had already taken my money for it).
