For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

Well, finally deciding to get around to at least plan the colors for CHROME MACHINE!!. I'm going to turn the green into chrome, and the dark gray into black chrome, but have no idea what to turn the light green into. I was also wanting to incorporate holomatic spectral chrome after seeing some images of it on kits, perhaps on the upper-body armor, shoulder discs, arm armor, and shin plates?

Hobbylinkjapan works better than Amiami, shipping costs wise, if you play a bit with the private warehouse.
Otherwise, yeah I get them via Amazon/ebay, sometimes. Be wary of using EMS with HLJ though, they use chronopost once the package is in France, who overcharges the TVA tax with their own bullshit fee.

You can't sue people for reviewing your products (even if they are making money from the review) unless you have evidence that they are outright falsifying information. Basically its protected like parody is.

It's also really not worth sueing over and usually is bad press if you do. Companies will even occasionally send larger reviewers free new products to help advertise them.

Sending a C&D or asking a site to take something down (Or in the case of youtube they take it down themselves before even being asked) is not the same as a lawsuit. You can send letters and requests like that willy nilly for the stupidest of reasons because technically it is a private matter and the law is not involved in it yet. Its only if one party ignores the request or decides to escalate it into court that it becomes a legal issue.

They can't sue you over it without looking like idiots and assholes, but they can sure as hell send letters just like any old senior citizen dissatisfied with something.

When you guys are painting kits with inner frames, do you topcoat the inner frame separately from the outer armor or topcoat a limb with all the armor attached? I'm feeling if I did any detailed painting on the inner frame at all, I'd have to topcoat it first before armor unless I want scratch marks all over my pistons, right?

If the final finish of the armor is different than the frame top coat separately.

Scratched paint is something that always happen on parts like the inner frame. It is suggested to sand the parts a bit if the fit is too tight and result in paint scratches.

Primer> Gloss Black> Metallic
I skip the gloss black if I feel it won't affect the final finish.

Chrome and silver is more for clear colors I believe.

Just vacuum. Or build one of those clean boxes. Those boxes where it's isolated from the outside and you interact with the contents using gloves connected to the box. I've seen some people build it using a clear plastic tub and rubber gloves.
>>
>>5667155
it's not much of a challenge to cover something with paint in 1 coat, the trick is to cover in paint in as thin layer(s) as possible, that's where airbrush and multiple coats usually come into play

thin coats also tend to dry much faster and not grab dust out of the air (which your coat seems to have)

>>5667394
yeah, you can even build a whole clean room for working with resin.

or, you know, you can just wet sand it nice and slow by hand and avoid the expense

And yes, the new smaller x wing from bandai is in scale with 144 even though they didn't say it.

Question about the 1/100 Gusion, can I get like a cheaper 1/100 Graze or something and use that frame to put on Gusion's armor? I already have 1 as a Rebake but I want both. I am also open to light modding if that is what it takes.
>>
>>5667755
Graze frames are different from gundam frames. Beyond that, I don't know.
>>
>>5667755
No Graze. 1/100 Barbatos but you may really need mods because it doesn't have the same inner frame as Gusion.
>>
>>5667602
It's so easy to forget the scale of mobile suits, like when metal gear Rex's rail gun is barely bigger than the gundams bazooka
>>
>>5667647
Google "Bandai star wars" and you'll find the plamo site with the schedule for them, also monthly in the general Bandai release List
>>
>>5667755
Nope. The barbatos frame won't work either without modding parts as gusions frame has some different connections and proportions compared to barbatos.

I already tried to swap the frames and the amount of mods needed started piling up.
