This Charizard, I guess. He's definitely the most expensive figure I own and I spent a long time tracking him down for a good price (€140).
He's pretentious because I know he's a grail for many people. It makes me feel like a smug prick when I see other's incomplete D-Arts collections, because they can't afford him or are too clueless about other shopping avenues.

I've always considered Hot toys normie-bait, but would Christopher Reeve Superman be considered pretentious? Its a bit older and slightly pricy. Plus in the age of the MCU getting a figure of an old dC movie might be kinda hipster I guess?
I also own Hot toys Robocop with the chair, which is probably more pretentious than just owning the one without it.
I own one 3A and one ThreeZero figure; Half-size Rex and Shield Liger respectively. I wouldn't really consider them pretentious since they're known franchises, though.
Eventually I'd like to get an original 3A product, probably one of those MARS robots or Popbots. Probably next year as I'm spending this one hunting down figures I've wanted for a while.

Not that anon, but I have both versions and I really like them. I didn't pay the crazy after market price, which is maybe the "overhyped" that anon is referring to. The design hides the joints nicely and the accessories are fun and character appropriate. The ankles pop off if you try to swivel them too far, but they're on a ballpoint so it's super easy to pop them back in. That's the major complaint I keep hearing about these, but if you've handled Japanese collectibles before, then you're good to go. They're not meant to be hamhanded like 'Merica toys, they're more like posable display pieces.
