Are there any toylines or companies that have made figures that depict characters in classic literature?
I know of only two:
Mezco's 1/12 Frankenstein (which is actually Frankenstein's monster)
and
The 2009 Mcflarane Toys Beowulf series(pic related is Grendel)

Nonsense, the responsibility of parenthood is a major theme in Frankenstein. The creature is for all intents and purposes the Doctor's offspring and his responsibility, and has every right to be referred to by the family name of the man who created him.
