I was doing my first attempt at scratch building the reinforced part of a Ground Gundam's shield and after drying, the sides were all cracked. If it helps, I'm using Squadron putty. So I took a short break from my current project and work on un-fucking Super Fumina's crazy face some more.
I took a file and some higher grit sand paper to it and removed those god awful chin and lips as well as overall smoothing it out a bit to make it look more like the series and lineart. It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. Only took like 10 minutes.
That combined with ditching the clear lenses and bring the eye's forward and she is looking a lot less like a creepy yandere android. Unfortunately bringing the eyes forward means removing the eyebrow piece and nothing i tried to work it in worked out. So my current plan is to take two tiny blobs of epoxy putty and push them through the gap from the inside like a playdoh spaghetti machine so they protrude slightly and then paint them later. This will also fix the whole sunken in eyebrow thing.

Got more work done on this guy. Chopped the skirts but still have to shape them, changed the waist width to be narrower and brought the crotch/skirt assembly up very slightly and inwards towards the body interior. I also extended the tops of the legs so they don't peek, but because the styrene is white they look like garters or something. I think this is about as far as I will go with proportions, it still has the same feel but just a bit more modern looking.

Only the Ver.Ka has that as it is something exclusive to Katoki's version of the design and the redesign itself is based on the gundam Evolve version of the design which Katoki is a fan of.
There is a neat little interview with Katoki in the MG manual where he describes his thought process behind the addition. The original design of the Nu gundam only has psycoframe around the cockpit.

The Sazabi ver.Ka doesn't have psycoframe all over it. Just and open hatch gimmick for higher detail.
Kind of funny, it doesn't have an opening cockpit either. It has that thing from the Movie where the Sazabi's cockpit is too big to actually fit in the head like it's supposed to and instead they include the cockpit sphere as a separate piece.

The purpose of the MSD line is that the idea behind it is that the different releases "Discovered" plans for prototype units from the OYW that never got past planning stage and the line is tied to the Origin OVAs.
Don't expect to see anything past the OYW in it and definitely not anything with psycoframe since that was made years later after the war ended. I think I know the goudf you're thinking of and it is a custom build.

Bought this when I was in China about five months ago and finally just got around to building it. At the time I was lurking on this board to see if anyone had any experience with these counterfeit Chinese kits. The guy I bought it from said that versus authentic kits it might have looser joints and the coloring on the plastic might be off a little. Now that I've put one together, I can say that I did not notice anything was too loose and the color looks fine, especially since I plan on painting it. If funnels are your thing the Hi-nu does it properly and is a fine looking gundam in its own right.

First get some plastic cement (the kind you use for gunpla) and pour a small amount in a spare glass jar with an airtight seal. Put a few red color sprues in there, just a tiny bit.
You can use this to make your plastic cement of the same color as the sprue. When the plastic dissolves into a slurry mix it. You want enough plastic and enough cement to have a slurry consistency.
Sand down damage part down and apply some of your new plastic slurry, press it down with a spatula to fill the holes, and let it harden. When it's dry and hard, sand it down and then polish.
Or you could just sand it down, fill it with most brand name putty, and paint over it.
