What was your best happy meal toy?
these... and then the power rangers is a close 2nd
batman returns
Forever
The sonic video game ones and the neo pet soft toy ones, at least those were the best "childhood ones"
Favs and only ones i still have are recent [] cartoon ones
>>5654452
I had Dot, forgot all about these.
Pictured are the ones I miss most though.
Loved these so much I ended up buying them off ebay a few years back.
Objectively the best Happy Meal toys ever produced.
>>5655212
fucking agreed
>>5654533
>>5654536
These and the Spider-Man set were my favorites
A glorious time where 3 points of articulation were enough for me
I regret thinking it would be a good idea to pull his tie off.
mcdonalds wombles were the first figures I collected.
Used to love this cutie
>>5654692
My nigga. I have that Robotnik on my desk.

A blue Hotwheels Dodge Dakota. It was genuinely the best toy car I ever owned. I played with it indoors and outdoors for years, and somehow it never even got got so much as a scratch. It was better quality than the toy cars I bought from the store.

I came to post this or the original Beast Wars figures. To this day my Beast Wars McDonalds figures smell like fries.
I really loved this set as a kid, I hopefully still have them somewhere
>>5654798
I had that orange thing and another where a brooklyn figure changed color in warm water. Was that one from the same line? and WTF was that orange thing even supposed to do?
>>5656920
HOLY SHIT. These were my favorite.
>>5655202
I had one of these.. what year did they come out?
>>5655724
Oh crap.. I actually forgot about the spider man ones. It's funny how these were satisfactory action figures for me when I was like 9 or 10.
>>5657393
Wikipedia says the three series were in '87, '89. and '90. I had a few as thrift store finds as well.
>>5654771
I remember getting a ton of those because I wanted to give my friends a bunch. I was in a different country at the time, and I thought that foreign Happy Meal toys would be a nice gift to bring home.
>>5655724
I loved that Spidey when I was younger. I wish I still had it around. I had the Doc Ock too.

Had all of these... so many good memories of playing with cheaply made crap.
>>5657397
Wow. I'm old. How much did you pay for them on ebay?
>>5657418
Shit, I had all of those. I got them with a big bundle of other kids meal toys when my dad went overseas for a while. He was my hero for a while because of that.
These will always be the best. Toys that can combine always are.
>>5655202
>>5655212
Though those were pretty great too.
Showing my age here.. Fast Macs were my favorite. I usually liked the original toys more than the licensed stuff.
>>5657461
The Stompers were a close second, though. The boxes could be cut up and put together to make cool tracks for the cars.
>>5657446
Huh. Those look different from the ones I had. Did that Tantor spray actual water, and was there a Jane holding an open book?
>>5657461
what year?
>>5654798
>>5656951
color-changing Brooklyn was from another line; I had the hidden Goliath toy here, but there was also a color-changing cup.
The orange thing was a Viewmaster-type thing
>>5657411
I think it was like 20-25 for a lot of 7. They're pretty popular.
>>5657693
'85 or 86 I think. You could also get them on a blister card for like $0.60
Burger Kid kid's meal toy but, this magic coin thing was my fucking jam when I was 4.
Have so many fucking squirt gun arms and legs. Though I do have a full set, still in the packaging because as a kid I was fucking obsessed with the movie so much I had my dad buy me a 2 sets from ebay... one to play with and one to collect.
>>5656831
MUH NUGGA!!!
I'm an oldfag.
>>5660787
Had these too.
>>5654452
I had the two on the right.
>>5655202
Had a few of these. It was always robots vs dinosaurs for me.

HMNNNNNNNGGGG goddamn dude why did you do this to me? I had a cool as hell Grandma that got me one of these EVERY WEEK until I turned 13.
>>5660852
My sister had all but one of the barbies and I was obsessed with the chevys
>>5660852
Haha, nice to see a fellow oldfag to share nostalgia with. That sandwich and milk crate figure, I had those!
There used to be a Spy Kids beetle that you could make out of it's line of toys. That one was sick.
>>5654786
I cant believe one of these can hold up an entire motorcycle by itself. Seriously some sorcery going on with those toys
>>5654771
I still have mine, and they still working!
Fav is the Tails one.
The best one I get? THIS ONE
>>5655202
I actually still have all of them from my childhood in a box.
>>5657418
Only have Bugs.
>>5656920
I literally have these among a few other childhood toys in my current computer desk drawer
I wish they'd bring these guys back.

>TFW got the whole family
>>5660940
dude what
>>5661770
each one looks more mentally ill than the last
>>5660843
Unrivaled.
Now all Transformers toys today at fast food places don't even transform.
They don't even try now
>>5660754
I have a full set too. This was great.
>>5661830
My non-/toy- friend went and had a happy meal recently for some undisclosed reason
The bumblebee didn't transform but if you squeezed his leg he would swing his sword and do a waist swivel. It's better than nothing.
>>5661848
Those are terrible
2 molded pieces of plastic with barely 2-3 paint applications.
That first Beast Wars McDonalds set is on par with something sold for $5.99 at Toys R Us in the Legion scale now.
>>5661880
I remember reading somewhere that the Transformers Beast Machines toys were better then the actual toys in stores for the same show/line.
I'm sure this counts
>>5661935
Cept they were all horrible toys
I was obsessed with this when theses came out. Used to pretend they were like phasers and shit. I was pissed when they got recalled before I got them all. Only picked up two.
>>5656920
>that teal submarine (?)
man I remember it now
Think I lost it but it was easily my favorite now that I think about it.
>>5661770
What's the figure on the left in the black armor? kamen shit?
These ruled
>>5664652
Why were the recalled? Looks pretty normal to me. Was it a choking hazard?
>>5664967
It was because little kids could open the back compartment to the batteries, which were a choking hazard. At least you could replace the batteries unlike later toys.
>>5661830
Yeah I remember growing up with those Bionicle villagers from McDonalds too, and a few random generic Lego sets that had the weird redesigns of McDonald characters on it. Now they don't do real Lego either.
