May building challenges:
>make your own Dimensions team based off of a new franchise
>create a new Music star/act for Legovision 2016, also include any instruments or stage props, and don't forget an awesome name
>wasn't there also something about animal vehicles
>build a vehicle or fleet worthy of riding into Valhalla, shiny and chrome
>greeble: remake any set or build something with an absurd amount of greebling
>build a mighty micro vehicle (any surface type)
>can may be mini moc madness month: spaceship edition? yes it can
>build a brick-built animal!
>make a stop-motion / multi-frame animation
first for space
>>5654119
That was the set I always wanted when I was younger.
I don't want to think about how much it would cost today.
I have an Alice and a Mr. Incredible minifigure for sale or trade.
Looking for:
Ariel
Buzz
Chesire Cat
Captain Hook
Mickey
Genie
Alien
Stich
Syndrome
Peter Pan
Malificent
Ursula
Asking $6 shipped for each if you'd like to buy them
>>5654119
Old space sets were so hit or miss. That thing looks flimsy and silly to me.
>>5654125
Oh, and both of them are open.
post your white whale
>>5654160
What does that mean?
>>5654164
It means read a fucking book
>>5654164
whale = grail
So /lg/, what are the sets you've regret buying the most?
>>5654160
Bought 2, sold one last year. Funnily enough although the minifigs are awesome with a lot of accesories and little details the house itself fits in with no other modulars and I'm debating whether or not to keep it
>>5654164
you're captain ahab, you've been hunting for that one set you've wanted for a while, and it may even be a set you've wanted since you were a kid, and the rest of this sentence writes itself
>>5654172
Out of the sets I got recently Battle on Takodana.
I should have just bricklinked Finn and Kylo.
>>5654160
>tfw I have this set up right now on top of my desk's mantle or w/e it's called
It really is amazing. I can't wait to build a proper graveyard for it when I move out.
>>5654172
Kylos ship. Got half way though the build before saying fuck it because the entire look of the ship with the wings always being up is fucking retarded. Plus side, I used those parts to build a nazi tank.
>>5654160
Would have to be this amazing star destroyer. I was dead broke when it came out and had to pass. I'll never have a chance again because it's gone way too high since then.
Also kind of wish I got the Falling Water architecture set when they started that series. Always liked that house, and a set of it would have been fun to build.
>>5654172
I'm always so careful when I buy sets that I don't regret any. It's usually more regretting second guessing, or saving instead of just buying a set.
>>5654172
maybe if they dont ever release Coleman Trebor in a set again I will be able to get rid of that damn set I have here still sealed. It is probably the biggest SW set I ever bought right when I decided I wouldnt collect SW anymore.
>>5654203
Why didn't you just return it? Or just put it up for sale already?
I'm going to try and find a second UV bulb tomorrow.
>>5654215
Confirmed confirmed, or just rumour confirmed? Cus if that's 100% happening I don't know how to react.
>>5654215
Post source otherwise here's your, (You)
I made a small sled + diorama.
Will post larger sub in a mo
It has arms I'm really pleased with
>>5654254
What exactly is this supposed to be?
>>5654105
>build a mighty micro vehicle (any surface type)
ALL FEAR MIGHTY SPACE TANK
>>5654216
Have you seen that UV curing glue on TV? I bought a tube of that stuff on clearance. The light on it is a single LED but it is much less blue or purple than my black-light bulb. I would recommend that if you cant find a proper UV bulb. I made a quick animation to show off the light blue color and glow I'm getting from a single ultraviolet light emitting diode.
>>5654262
like an underwater thing to pull you along. I can't make minifigs worth a damn. Its sorta floating over some mud with sea weed floating in the direction of the current
>>5654309
>I can't make minifigs worth a damn
>>5654333
2complicated4me
I try to buy them assembled on eBay
>>5654309
>I can't make minifigs worth a damn
Why not, no underwater parts?
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=M&catString=54
nice scooter/minisub by the way, I like those arms.
>>5654299
the colors, the contrast, it burns, it buuuuuurns
I need more lights.
>>5654348
would've liked to make them dark red. I'll be making a bricklink order in the near future, I'd certainly like to get a couple of bubble helmets from the spongebob line.
does anyone have any photos of it ?
Here's my micro spaceship fleet. Three are recreations of real MOCs I've got on my desk. The AMERICA! freighter is a digital exclusive.
>>5654460
I like the use of the blasters
>>5654105
Any news on the fourth Civil War set? Hasbro just unveiled their new Spidey.
>>5654333
but wait how do you attach the briefcase, it doesn't show how
>>5654506
I'm pretty sure you don't attach the briefcase to the minifigure, you attach the minifigure to the briefcase. The minifigure is just an accessory, that black briefcase is the head honcho and calling the shots here
>>5654518
That's a brown briefcase anon
>>5654506
>>5654519
oh jeez, you are right
on the subject of instructions though, what the hell is up with the color differentiation involving sets with the new dark/light gray? I just can't rely on the colors alone and have to pick up context clues from the surrounding colors and bricks.
It makes me thankful for those rainbow bricks during building you're never going to see in a finished build anyway
>>5654477
Lego has to wait for spidey to finish his world tour as a stand in drummer for Motorhead.
Not Mine but I love it.
They were called The M-Trons
spaceship anon here
I bring more spaceship
Hey, Polandbro! There is a special CN Magazine with Nexo Knigth Cannon! Good stuff!
>>5654598
Fuck dude, all that trans green A E S T H E T I C S.
>>5654633
Love that cockpit design.
You don't need to be a better shot. You just need to shoot more bullets.
Does anyone here just collect minifgs?
>>5654633
I like how you did the wings using the mixel joints.
>>5654658
thank you, I'm even more proud of the interior
>>5654666
thanks satan
you have no idea how hard it was to get that to all work out. liberal application of jumper plates was a necessity.
>>5654666
Do these guys ever get into fights with other mobile cities?
>>5654659
Blue......
Why shoot MORE bullets, son?
Especially when you can shoot ALL of the fucking bullets?
MUH

>>5654666
>mfw I see the BURP and finally realize how insanely big that is
>>5654670
That's indeed a nice cocpit.
Recently did a lot of touching up on my Black Pearl and I think I am finally happy with it and may even start work on the flying dutchman.
>>5654678
Giant constructions are awesome.
Super happy. I just got the 10210 Imperial Flagship, my holy grail since I've got back into LEGO 2012
I switched it with a guy, only built once, including box and manual for 200 bucks, a MISB 10220 Volkswagen and like 10 random minifig blindbags. Super excited!!
>>5654698
LUCKY.
CUNT.
Seriously man, congrats. Ive become a bit of a shipfag since building my seacow, but the prices on the lego ships have kept me from getting them, and I havent decided on a chink brand one just yet.
Hope you have fun with the build dude.
And ALAS, ye better assemble a skeleton crew, shanghai all the bastards ye can to crew that dirty lass, YAAAAAR.
>>5654685
Have you got a clearer shot of the actual boat itself
>>5654708
I do actually here you go.
I want to get back into Lego. What is a good theme to collect? I want to complete a whole theme and get all the sets.
>>5654710
star wars ucs
>>5654710
Capeshit is always a fun start.
And dont fall into the DC v Marvel bullshit, get what ya like. And then, look into both 3rd Party and The Chinks to fill in the holes. You would be surprised how many cool hero and villain figs there are from custom printers and the chinese.
>>5654722
I dont think capeshit is into "hundreds of sets" yet. And no, I dont consider the chinese figs that you can get for literal pennies or the third party figs that are a little bit more expensive but not by much as "sets".
>>5654723
I hope you're memeing, because they release one every year and are expensive as fuck
>>5654727
still less than capeship
>>5654727
Hes not fully wrong. Theres what, like ten or twelve total OFFICIAL modulars? And only a COUPLE of them go for over a thouso.
Its doable. Shit, me and the GF are about halfway there.
>>5654710
>I want to complete a whole theme and get all the sets.
That makes me think retired themes. I like space, I'd go with Space Police III, Alien Conquest or something.
>>5654735
And if you wanted to justify not spending money you could argue that the first few (the most expensive) were designed with a different philosophy and are not the same theme.
>>5654743
Boom, there you go.
Thinking away from the brick.
>>5654735
If theres any groups of AFOL that confuse me the most, there's the modularfags.
Willing to pay thousand of dollars for the first, beta-modulars which are super ugly and look unfinished.
>>5654751
Modularfag here and I don't consider anything prior to the Parisian Restaurant worth picking up (which is why I refuse to)
That said, the Green Grocer is my moby dick
>>5654751
Hey, I didnt say I WANT those first few, I just mentioned them, and as >>5654743
said, different design philosophy.
Honestly, im more curious about the recently unveiled chines modulars that are over 10,000 pieces. One of them is a corner mcdonalds restaurant. Another one is a youth hostel type tennement building.
Hopefully they are about the same price as a regular lego modular.
>>5654754
I looked and retail is about $75, but they had more pieces. I can find the link again
>>5654756
The Wange modulars?
ONLY around $75? FUCKING SERIOUSLY?
Fuck, ill build a whole district if that is true.
>>5654743
you could just exclude market street. It's from the lego factory line, so it's fanmade and not designed by the guys who are behind every modular building since cafe corner
>>5654160
you already have. reposting my microscale version.
>>5654765
GB HQ is also "fan made" and I consider that a modular. But thats just me.
ALSO CHINKYMOOT, FUCK OFF WITH THE FADING CAPTCHAS.
>at Walgreens, passing through bumfuck KY
>some nasty ninja grabs a handful of Disney minifigs and bolts out the door
>the employees start FUCKING LAUGHING
Jesus what.
>>5654676
That's beautiful. Get it from Aliexpress?
>>5654775
Probably some normals who dont realize that toys can and usually do hold and have some kind of value.
When I was a kid my dad bought me all the classic gen 1 transformers shits, gi joes, and TMNT figures, plus lego. I played with those things until they were in pieces.
Only now do I realize I would be Trump levels of rich, even if I had kept them all in "somewhat mint, played with" condition.
And I also got the great news not too long ago that all my classic lego may have gotten trashed.....7+ of those big tupperware bins you see at walmart and shit, the big fucks, FULL, got a little waterlogged in a flood.
May have gotten tossed because "oh, anon, they got SOAKED!" Lego. In water. "Ruined".
Ive decided if its true I am going full nightstalker mode on my own dad.
>>5654775
I saw a guy shoplift Lego once. I was in Tasmania, and an employee punched the dude out.
>>5654751
>Willing to pay thousand of dollars for the first, beta-modulars which are super ugly and look unfinished.
The only one that's true of is Market Street. I'm not even sure why that is considered a modular.
I'd call the Green Grocer one of the top three Modulars they've made so far, and Cafe Corner is really nice too.
Only unfortunate thing is that Cafe Corner has literally nothing inside of it. Grocer has minimal stuff inside, but it has a fully furnished first floor, and a "rug" and I believe a grandfather clock on the second.
Exterior-wise, they're two of the best ones.
>>5654777
I figure you may be making fun of me, lady luck, but even so, yeah, ali express, coat by capemadness, weapons by some random 3rd party.
Happy with him none the less, he could be worse.....
>>5654785
No, I like it! The Punisher, I mean, not the Surfer.
I've been trying to decide which bootleg Deadpool to get from Aliex.
>>5654783
>Tasmania
I believe it.
>>5654172
Most of the Creator 2014 1H wave. There's some real crap there. It was also the first year we didnt get a big 3-in1 vehicle.
>>5654788
AH, if yer being serious...
Thank you. And I mean that. Thanks.
As for a deadpool, you cant really go wrong with getting one of the sets of them, but one caveat. So far I have bought two of the movie versions of Deadpool because of a misprint on his right leg (kneepad off center), both had the same misprint, both bought from different stores. Honestly, at about 80 cents for the figure, you could probably buy ten of them and finally hit the sweet spot and not be out too much cash. Or, wait a little bit and try your luck. The figure its based off of (one of the expensive 3rd party prints) has perfect printing, and the chinese variant, other than said kneepad, is perfect in every other way. Really just depends on how autistic about it you may be, or if you really care.
Long story short, its a great print, def WAY better than that Silver Surfer, but it has a little flaw.
>>5654785
How's the quality of plastic? Would you be satisfied with the minifig if the printing was okay?
I really would like to get a Silver Surfer, he's probably my favourite superhero
>>5654799
OH, the plastic quality is top notch. I know what the chinks did wrong. They printed ink (or more than likely did a decal) on a glossy surface and didnt add any type of protection to it (this is "THIN YOUR PAINTS!" tier rookie mistakes). I straight up rubbed the whole side of his face off with one firm wipe of my thumb.
Other than the printing, the build and the plastic are on par.
Where do I get a Lego-style Hitler? I want to put it in my sister's Lego sets to scare her.
>>5654811
(Come on mods, dont delete it this time please.)

>>5653544
>all Nexo's are really bright solid colors
wtf how retarded you are
>>5654819
>>5654823
The jet engine is the satellite I made a while back plus some weird Sluban parts.
>>5654820
Is there gonna be an Ultimate version of the big guy in the next wave?
>>5654845
yeah, axl and lnce are getting ultimates
>>5654845
YEah it looks shit though
>>5653712
>So what's the best current train set?
IMO, 60052 is. While people bitch about the cow car, there's shitloads of potential with this set, plus the included freight station and switches are a one-up on 60098 Heavy Haul and the passenger train you posted. It's almost like a throwback to some of the old-school train sets that packed a shitload of stuff in one set.
>Literally my favorite since set #4565 from the 90's
Out of my way Crusader fucking shits
>>5654930
Best faction coming through, mother fucker.
>you will never have a moc this mighty
>>5654710
Go Nexoknights
>>5654941
Why there are the best?
I love their colorsheme and their "castle" was neat.
The Spooky Knight from new series fits to them as a dream!
>>5654210
can't return BL orders. I have put it up for sale but one guy bought it then never paid and disappeared.
>>5654817
Where can I get that Norwegian hair piece?
Not chinese bootleg tho. Does it exist in a regular set or blind bag?
So I went ahead and bought the Fortrex. Gonna build it later today. This also means that I now own all 5 major Knights in their non-ultimate versions which is nice.
>>5654995
Congrats. It's a great set and it will cost a lot later for sure.
>>5654951
I never knew this existed.
>>5654999
Thanks! Yeah partly the reason I got it was that it was 20 % off here. Looking forward to building it.
>>5655008
Lucky you. I want to grab mine soon as Children day si comming soon and prices go apeshit then.
Why is Lego City so comfy?
>>5655023
meta comfy
How the fuck is a truck comfy, they're loud and smelly
>>5655036
It's a tank truck.
When it blows up it's warm and bright.
>>5655036
This. City is focused on bustling downtows, petrol-engined vehicules, fires, accidents and crimes. It is absolutely uncomfy.
The comfy line is creator
>lonely lighthouses in the middle of the sea
>kids playing in treehouses under the warm sun
>delicious burgers
>comfy passionate sex with the artist in the attic studio above the parisian restaurant
>top tier coffee in the detective's office leather armchair
>>5655045
Creator + Friends = Maximu comfy
hi guys, i just spotted nexo night poly.
>>5655067
ive been out of lego lately, was too much Focused on Zootopia.
I made some custom Avatar minifigs
>>5654598
>Someone posts something I made.
>>5655090
You made this? I like you.
This monster is finally done.
Any tips on building? The whole thing has a heap of illegal connection internally but it's too much effort to replace it.
>>5655104
And it's underside
>>5654823
What does the ghostbusters firehouse set look like next to a modular set. I am thinking of getting it and am worried it would look weird next to some of my modulars.
Where are these liberty prime customs?
>>5655081
pls stop pls
>>5654119
Aw sheeit
One of the few Exploriens sets I'm still missing
>>5654122
BrickLink says $60 without figs, up to $169+ for a sealed set. This is all over the world, mind you. Filtering it to US-only prices might be different.
>>5654129
A lot of the old Space sets are a lot smaller piece-wise than their size implies. Especially the base sets. The often used large transparent panels, but inside they were hollow.
>>5654160
Of course.
It's not even a good set.
>>5655045
One of these ">" is not like the others...
>>5655104
>>5655106
>tips for building
post the whole thing please, so we can see the side.
its ok to not use every piece you own.
color block. this means putting many pieces of the same color together in one place. you actually did this already with the blue on the back, which looks better than the top. for example, you could only use white pieces along the side as a stripe.
try repeating a shape or design in multiple parts of the build. the arches on the sides are a good starting place, do that again and again (i see more arches behind your hand). i also like the the center, where the crates meet those angled parts. thats another good motif to repeat
that said, good choice of color scheme, its not full rainbow warrior.
as it is, im imagining some colorblind engineer colelcting parts from literally everywhere and slowly optimized his space dildo for speed
>>5655196
here's a ship that uses come f the techniques i talked about.
>>5654780
>spergy broke neckbeard literally stealing 4 buck plastic
>employees are called the normies

That's not how you spell Ice Bears.
thought for the day: hatred is the Emperor's greatest gift to humanity
>>5654164
The set that bit off your leg.
Mine's pic related, the papercuts you get from those old boxes are fucking vicious.
>>5653778
>Has anyone found a decent use for the stud-firing blasters that seem to come with everything?
>>5653848
>I've seen them turned into really decent minifig weapons with some greebling added, like a telescope or tap piece on the back. Otherwise they seem kind of useless.
Well I put the greeble on the FRONT, and use them hand grenade launchers that can be converted into guns.
The lack of taps is actually making me think twice about getting the First Order Battle Pack...
>>5655007
>I never knew this existed.
Where have you BEEN man?
>>5655104
>>5655106
DUERER!
Is there any change of this ever being made? Or is there a set like it that I can buy? I have a huge soft spot for the time period and the style of this set.
>>5655359
There's nothing too exotic partwise in that, you could bricklink it yourself.
>>5655362
There's no part list.
>>5654756
Did you find that link? Sorry if I missed it elsewhere in the thread.

>>5655415
>no STAMPs
>>5655045
>The comfy line is creator
Fuck yes. Rolling thunder, motherfuckers.
Hey /lg/.
I work at a Legoland Discovery Center, and we get 30% off in our Lego store.
There's rumors we might get 50% off on days after paychecks in the coming months.
Are the big modulars still worth it for only 30% off?
I'm crazy frugal, and spending that much on any one thing(that's not a living requirement) sort of makes me anxious.
What do you guys think?
>>5655045
>>comfy passionate sex with the artist in the attic studio above the parisian restaurant
>>5655440
>we get 30% off in our Lego store
>might get 50% off on days after paychecks
>>5655404
I doubt they'll accept it as is. It would cost at least $400 and compete with both their modulars and the winter village sets. The only large building they approved was the ghostbusters hq, so who knows?
I guess the people who have enough knowledge to reverse engineer it prefer to build their own buildings.
>>5655437
I'm curious, what makes a set an 'expert' set?
Just the number of parts/details that demands more attention span than most, or is it something else?
>>5654661
i had a phase were i bought a lot of minifig parts mostly, but eventually i saw that i just displayed my favourite bunch and i stopped.
That was the perfect opportunity for to finally build all kinds of cool shit like houses, dioramas and vehicles for them.
>>5654682
woah shit, someone reposted my bathroom
>>5654709
i like how all the cannon ports aren't on the exact same level, it really gives it this handmade vibe.
>>5654710
Did you used to play with Lego as a little one?
Then i suggest collecting whatever gives you the biggest nostalgia rush. Just google some old lego catalogues and see what has the biggest impact.
>>5655207
A lot of these giant spaceships get posted but this must be my favourite i've seen to date.
>>5655295
great re-usage of the babby body man, i already stamped it as a poop in my book.
Holy shit my BL order JUST got in the mail while typing this, can't wait to open it lads.
>>5655448
Lots of SNOT construction and high priced creator set.
>windows attached by 1 stud
>upside down pieces on the nose
>stripes made with cheese slopes
>>5655448
The Horizon Express warrants its 'Expert' rating, holy god.
I mean, I get that it sounds stupid when it has instructions telling you exactly what to do, but the sheer number of small nitpicky parts was what made it hard. This is one of those sets that has more plates than bricks.
Took me two hours to put together, with the locomotive being the hardest part. There's no way my 10-year-old brother could do this on his own, you know?
>And then I had to get another and repeat
>>5655451
>Then i suggest collecting whatever gives you the biggest nostalgia rush.
>TFW I realize this is why I bought up so many Lego Movie sets
>>5655443
>you will never brick the shit out of a QT minifig
>>5654883
Why do people complain about the cow car? It looks freaking adorable.
>build a mighty micro vehicle (any surface type)
Okay.
>>5655479
I think because it's retarded simple and not the most visually interesting. In the scheme of trainfags, it looks nothing like what an animal carrier should.
But then again bulls are rare parts, so.
I was skeptical of many of the set's components until I read this lengthy review about it that explains the real hidden genius of 60052
http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=131165
Where the hell did this come from? I want.
>>5655440
Definitely worth it.
Frankly if you buy two and only open one, then sell the second on ebay after it becomes discontinued, you'll essentially be getting them for free.
>>5654160
My warlock and his skelly army took over my Haunted House.
Now it sits on my computer desk in my small lego street.
>>5654661
Essentially that's what I do. I tend to get the sets with the minifigs I'm into, and then interesting set pieces to put them around. Few years back I found out about brickwars and the idea of interesting things to build on that took over. Not that I really play it, but the idea was appealing.
One of these days I should count how many I have. I wonder, does anyone in this general have a count on their minifigs?
>>5654883
>>5655479
>>5655495
>60052
Since we're talking about this, I have a general question I need help with.
Lego's website has 60052 at nearly $200. Same for TRU
Target and Wal-mart have it listed at $140 online.
I know Wal-mart allows for in-store pickup, but does Target? I live closer to them than Wally.
>>5655570
>I know Wal-mart allows for in-store pickup, but does Target? I live closer to them than Wally.
If Target has it in stock at your local one you can pick it up.
>>5655497
whoa this is cool as fuck
anyone have any info?
>>5655570
>I know Wal-mart allows for in-store pickup, but does Target?
Yes. With Wal-mart, you pay online and grab it at the store. With Target, you place the order online but don't actually pay until you're at the counter in store.
It will be the web price for the item though.
>>5655573
>If Target has it in stock
What if they don't?
the final damage,
a pair of swimming trunks,
parts for my sexy devil
lots of dark purple nurple because why not built a truck out of it.
The black speed champions camaro and ford deuce coupe.
The order didn't come with two parts i ordered until now so i'll contact him in a bit i guess.
>>5655580
They'll ship it to your local store but you have to wait a week or so.
>>5655588
Sounds like I have nothing to lose, honestly. Plus it gives me more time to clean up my storage bins for it.
What are some good sets or models for decoration? Like something to put on a desk?

People've been waiting for that to discontinue for a year. I guess it could be any time now.

Who the fuck is stupid enough to buy that shit? This is my biggest hangup with Lego: the aftermarket. Who the fuck wants to buy a Super Chief for $300?
If I were going to sell mine, I'd ask $60 and call it good. Double my fucking money and be done with it.
>>5655623
>Who the fuck is stupid enough to buy that shit?
I honestly don't know. Rich fucks who don't know what things actually cost, I guess.
>If I were going to sell mine, I'd ask $60 and call it good. Double my fucking money and be done with it.
Somebody else would buy it at that price and immediately put it up again for the $300.
I don't normally advocate reselling but if people are going to pay stupid amounts for things you might as well.
>>5655623
From US to Europe, yes.
I don't even care anymore, really. I wanted it uninsured, and I already ordered the replacement for the most important thing in it.
>>5655626
>if people are going to pay
I don't think people do, that's my beef.
Sticking with the Super Chief, every time I see one for $300 on eBay, it never sells. Ever. The ones I look up today are the same sales I saw six months ago.
>Some stupid fuck wants $2,000 for a loco and two passenger car sets
>>5655451
>great re-usage of the babby body man, i already stamped it as a poop in my book.
I still can't decide if it was worth buying.
>Holy shit my BL order JUST got in the mail while typing this, can't wait to open it lads.
Okay I'll bite, what's in it?
>>5655632
There's some completed listings with BINs of $275 and $270.
>>5655490
This is brilliant. Looks like Star Wars mouse droid.
>>5655632
See, you see those prices and you think they're expensive. Which they are, for LEGO. For a model train, they're not that outrageous.
There's quite a few model train collectors that switched to LEGO to save money.

I don't have a blacklight unfortunately.
>>5655734
>it's fucking ugly and too bright
Opinions, I don't find it to be overly bright.
>teal looks way better
A color that's barely represented in Lego isn't all that practical though.
>>5655734
>1. it's fucking ugly and too bright

>complaining this hard
I think you need to look at actual heavy equipment for a while.
>>5655742
>barely represented
how is that even an argument though? I mean I'm not trying to be hostile or anything but it's not like they couldn't just come up with a new formula. They did that for purple, at least.
>>5655745
that still doesn't make it look good though, and half of those are a much more tasteful olive or medium green anyway
>10 vehicles
>1 wimpy volcano
>they're handling lava geodes which are somehow still molten but solid at the same time and have blue crystals inside of them, just like real lava doesn't
>Lava rock is plain grey instead of sand red, dark red or black
>>5655747
I'm not saying it's a bad colour, just that there isn't much to work with at this time.
>>5655751
>Perfect safety green shade for heavy equipment
>"it's ugly tho"
Guy, seriously. Shut up.
>>5655754
you do know that lego can actually print their own bricks in any color they want?
>>5655758
I'm not talking about Lego, I mean for MOCing and stuff. As pointed out above the choice of lime green is most appropriate for a mining operation theme, maybe a future theme will be more suitable for a teal scheme.
I made a Spider Globlin.

Just built the ford hotrod and it's quite a gnarly design. The printed doors are probably the best parts in the set though but all the shiny printed round tiles are great too! But everything can be improved ofcourse. It's rather narrow compared to my earlier custom rodded car.
I'm planning on widening it, give it a new windscreen and one of the old hinged roofs.
I'm also pretty sure the set uses some illegal techniques according to Jamie (the plate placed over the edge of a technic brick with a liftarm on it. Let's get to work!

This train station has a Lego store in it.
But no Lego employee, just a lady.
Why Lego? Why not give us a proper Lego store uniform fig?
As usual, my closest Target is still full of Halloween CMFs, so I was able to pick up the gargoyle, and another Skeleton Guy to add to the gang.
Surprisingly, Walmart had a box of S15 but I already have all I want from that wave.
