Exploding Thunder Thighs Edition:
So Yume is out and she has some problems...
Let's share our stories and bitch until it gets better!
>Open box to pull Yume out
>Comes out in two pieces wtf
>Continues to fall apart
>Where's the damn glue...
>Notice a giant paint transfer next to her naval
I'm hoping the next ones are better... When does Mel come out?
>>5652497
>just started looking at Poly's
>newest one is apparently made of a glass/GPS hybrid and breaks if a fly farts within a mile of it
>older good ones aren't available unless you want to sell a kidney
>ugly as shit grey ones are the only thing
...So, uh...How is Aegis? Is she at least the best Aigis figure available?
>>5652503
I've been waiting years to get a shot at their GK Aegis, she looks great. I hear she is massive though.
>>5652497
I would have loved her even with all these flaws but
>ML Iron Man hip joints
That is what kills a man and his love for Yume.
Upcoming HYPE
>>5652527
>boxing gloves + scarf
Looks neat
>mouthless face with thighs/thigh additions and a hat
>mfw
Fuck, that's cute.
>>5652503
From my experience and the other complaints I've seen the problem isn't anything actually breaking. None of the pieces are especially fragile, it's just that the lower shirt piece that connects to her belly and one of the bits that connects to her skirt doesn't want to stay on.
My Yume has been mostly okay. Her right knee joint is a bit loose, but not too loose where she can't stand on her own, and I still can't get her ponytail in, but she's not falling apart or anything. Actually ny Shamrock comes apart at the middle more and his waist piece doesn't stay in when that happens.
>>5652527
>Dat new girl on the right.
>Google fistress
>>5652773
Have you tries the joint fixing method posted on Daibadis FB page? Here's the pic an anon put together of the steps if you want to try it.
Also If I'm not confused, which is highly possible due to the bad translation on FB, it looks like a new prototype is finished or like 90% finished and is going to be introduced soon. I could be mistaken as you can see this translation is a bit wonky. The name appears to be Blue Rain though.
>>5652821
How the fuck does that translation software even works?? Try breaking up the sentences and use Excite or something might be better.
Name is ピンクル Pinkle or something like that. This one. Not even Polynian anymore.
>>5652527
Oh yeah that one on the left.
Vania looks badass.
>>5653012
This one is not a Polynian. It's a similar but separate robot race.
>>5652614
It's not /really/ longer but just enough that one hip is noticeably higher when you try to pose her standing straight. It's not noticeable when she's in other poses.
>>5653012
Yeah thats whay I thought. I was a bit thrown off by the bad translation though. That for giving Pinkle's name too, I couldn't remember it.
>>5652503
>...So, uh...How is Aegis? Is she at least the best Aigis figure available?
Another Anon here, same question. Whats the best Aigis figure? Figma? The Daibadi? Theres no assembly required for the Daibadi, is there?
>>5653683
I like the Bandai one the most, then the fighting game(?) figma one.
Forgot what brand name the Bandai one was...pre-AGP, so something chogokin?
>>5653664
The only thing that worries me about Pinkle is the added pieces to her thighs that might hinder the movement of her legs a bit.
>>5653683
The daibadi Aigis is larger than the polynians and she doesn't need assembly either. Some people like the first Figma because it looks a bit more like her in game art. I currently have the Chogokin one and I'm pretty happy, though I do like some faces more than others.
>>5652497
I had originally posted the issues int he previous thread and since then everyone has been coming forward with the issues they had and its just sad since for most of us its our first Polynian. Damn thing just exploded in my hands when I removed it from the packaging.
As for Mel she is to be released in July I believe. Its been a while since I pre-ordered her so I forgot but It was a summer release.
Decided to send a message to Daibadi's FB page and have been waiting a few days now and the message hasn't even got the "seen" indicator on it yet. Considering last thread someone said they usually reply quickly and another anon mentioned sending a message and it being marked as read with no response, I'm figuring they're just ignoring complaints now.
Was gonna pre-order the new red one as soon as it went up, but I don't think I'll be buying any more Daibadi products from now on.
>>5654844
What exactly do you expect, even if they do respond?
>>5654855
Give him a free blowjob.
I'm sure they're listening since they give quick fixes for each problem. Its still bullshit at this point since obviously its in high demand.
>>5652527
The red one on the right is really tempting. Does she have a name?
Is a she, right? I know the skirt and hair, but the trapbot really defied my perspectives.
>>5655263
She pretty clearly has cleavage.
>>5655263
Vania.
Guessing the spelling but not many variations there.
Been considering cancelling PO for Clover. I had planned to get all the ones up right now but I'm now thinking about getting the newer Polynians with clothes since those give the opportunity for part swapping.
>>5656998
You can part swap Clover.
>>5657456
Since he said PO, he probably means the grey flesh ones, which wouldn't work color-wise for part swapping with the normal white skin ones.
Is there a story reason for the gray Clover/Shamrock variants?
>>5657509
Daibadi wants more money
>>5657509
Tan skin is a fetish and /d/aibadi loves catering to fetishes
>>5657477
Yeah, this anon is right. I like to part swap sometimes and have one tanned Polynian just wouldn't work. I think I'd have more fun being able to swap heads with Yume and Mel and so on when the new Polynians get released.
>Swap grey Clover's legs, arms, and head over to the white version's torso.
>Have her holding Mel's swimsuit
>Bam, instant nude tanlines Clover
Glorious.
>>5657960
.... brilliant.
>>5657960
>TFW you missed out on original Polynians
Feels bad man
For people who got a defective Yume. Is she easy to fix? I've seen a lot of images and she doesn't look she will fall apart at all.
>>5658000
Most people report about loose joints and thats easy to fix following the steps and daigram from Daibadi. The ponytail is said to be fixed with a hair dryer from what I know. Some are also saying they got theirs with only one or two loose joints which again, is easy to fix.
Daibadi seems to be taking note of the trouble people have with Yume's ponytail. The posted up a tip on how to put it on, which is to stick the portion of her head in hot/warm water and then insterting the ponytail.
>>5659098
This is what I did with mine. After warming her head, the ponytail pushed in easily and widened the hole so it goes in and out no problem now.
>>5658000
Everyone is crying about how Yume has such horrible QC. Please, PLEASE remember that they're a small company and new at this. Clover and Shamrock turned out well, yes, but that's mainly because they were simple blank bodies and didn't have the kind of accessories or parts count that Yume has right now.
As someone who's spent WAY TOO MUCH FUCKING MONEY on resin garage kits, the fact that we're getting these great, original and cute robots in a mass produced form is a fucking godsend. Resin garage kits are even more horrible QC wise, not even counting the work you have to put in to make them look presentable. I'd take how Yume is now than gamble with a kit.
Daibadi's first fully-kitted out figure is going to have problems, but thankfully they're all mostly easy to fix. So buy with confidence, and if you're one of the unlucky ones, just look for guides to fix them and you're good to go.
Did anyone elses HLJ order get fucked with Yume? Golden Week is over and I figured they'd at least deliver it by charging me now. I don't mind the QC does anyone want to get rid of theirs for retail?
>>5659138
Well I ordered mine from HLJ too and was expecting a payment request but was met with her being backordered. I'm still waiting and hoping that, now with GW over restocks will come in soon. Then I can finally have a robot schoolgirl of my own.
>>5659123
Yeah, many anons on the previous thread did this to, with a few saying that they reversed the joint in the hair too if I remember correctly.
>>5658000
Got my Yume last Friday and had most of the tell tale issues. Loose knees, pony tail refused to go in, and the waist came apart at the slightest provocation. Sucks to have to fix a figure this expensive, but what do you do?
On the flip side, fixing those issues by following Daibadi's tutorials was easy as hell and the results are rock solid. The only thing I'm still having issues with is the waist, but I'm sure I, or someone else, will figure something out eventually that doesn't involved glueing stuff together. All things considered she's still totally worth it.
has daibadi ever mentioned just selling joint packs? I hamhanded the elbow on my clover and now she looks off using a hobby base joint.
>>5659192
An anon from the previous thread discussing Daibadi said to take her apart at the torso, remove the bit between the torso and the waist, and put her together that way to 'widen' the peg holes. Something about the peg not being able to push in the rest of the way because of the interceding part.
I love how it's pretty much compatible with any figure, I'll have a lot of fun swapping parts.
>>5659395
Oh wow, that really helped. Makes me feel like an idiot for mucking about with masking tape and thinking about cutting my losses and just glueing shit together. Thanks a bunch, anon. My Yume's now rock solid all over!
Woke up to a payment request for Yume from HLJ today. Looks like I was somewhat right about restocks after GW. She should get here sometime next week. Thank you HLJ.
Opened up my Yume from HLJ. She ended up pretty solid, most of the joints feel fine and the torso holds together and the knees are solid.
Ponytail took a little force to get in but not a massive amount and one of the side skirts took more effort to get in then the other.
Overall she's really nice and I've got Mel on order and will definitely be getting both of >>5652527
Quick question. Is Emil a figure or a model? I want to know because I've never really did models before and don't want my first to be one that would be to difficult.
>>5660096
All upcoming Daibadi Polynian releases are competed figures.
I ordered my Yume in HLJ when it opened up again for preorders, I guess I won't be getting a payment request soon, right? Mine will be backordered?
Also, have many preordered the gray flesh ones? I want to get them, but I'm unsure whether I'll be fine with the colors.
>>5660129
I ordered mine the last time she was up and just today got the payment request. So maybe others will be getting theirs too. Now ,as for the grey ones, I only have Clover on PO as I missed out on the originals and the color is growing on me.
>>5660149
I hope so.
I think I'll go ahead and preorder Clover
Thanks!
>>5660101
Ok. Then why does HLJ's sale listing for Emil say level 3, no glue, no paint?
>>5660346
HLJ? Wrong description? Really????
Yeah happens all the time never trust it.
>>5660346
I don't see what you mean on the HLJ page, but I also don't see why Daibadi would suddenly change up their production.
>>5652497
>*Johnny Cash - Hurt plays in the background*
These will get a re-release, right?
My schedule has been fucked last week and I couldn't get to the bank. Shit closes too fucking soon.
Can anyone compile the Yume fixes? I just paid for mine at HLJ and they shipped it asap which is kinda odd for HLJ.
>>5660676
Heres the steps for the loos joint fix >>5652814. As far as the waist issue, like the anon in the last thread and the one above, remove the midsection put her together that way to widen the peg holes then put het back together. Should let the joint go all the way in now. The ponytail issue can be resolved by applying heat the hole it goes in or by putting that part in some warm/hot water.
>>5660727
Thanks!
>>5660740
Welcome anon.
>>5660367
Hit me up, if you're in the states I'll sell her to you for cost + shipping.
[email protected]
>>5660970
I wish, but I'm not in the States.
>>5661472
Hungary?
>>5660970
I sent you an email about her earlier if foreign anon couldn't get her.
>>5662046
Peru.
Almost as cucked as Hungary, thrice as shitty.
how do i make balloon panties for shamrock?
>>5652814
>>5652814
Tell you what. This worked a treat. I picked up a Clover dirt cheap from a guy because it was a floppy mess. So fucked she couldn't even stand without support, much less hold any kind of cool pose. The Future/floor polish/glue trick didn't work, but after following the instructions in the graphic, fifteen minutes worth of work made her as good as new.
>>5663987
Glad to hear that anon! And nice one on getting a cheap Clover too! My Yume should be getting here in a couple of days so Friday or Monday and I'm prepared to fix her up in case she has any issues.
>>5659977
Where is this bike from?
>>5663981
Okay, am I an idiot or this just doesn't fucking work?
>>5664573
Cut the bottom off the baloon so you have just the rounded part, cut two leg holes, put it on. Trim as needed. What are you doing?
I walked through the wind and rain to get this bitch she better not have issues
>>5665027
Dang that box looks good
>>5665032
it begins
>>5665032
Well, no lose bits or anything. In fact is the Opposite, NONE OF THE PIECES WILL GO INTO THEIR ASSIGNED HOLES. This is the piece supposed to hold the hair to the head, way too big or im just retarded
>>5665071
The one on the right is malformed, there's a little bit of excess you can see barely, that stops it fitting. So my time is hairless abs can't have skirt but. Not to fused about the last one as it could be fixed by shaving it down but the hair one annoys me
>>5665083
But yeah more than happy with the joints
>>5665079
Awesome I'll try that out!!
>>5664088
You just reposted that graphic that somebody else made from the pix on Twitter.
Don't act like you're the one who made it, namefag.
>>5664573
>Okay, am I an idiot
Yes. Very much so.
>>5664891
>What are you doing?
Sounds like he doesn't know what he's doing.
>>5665401
I know the image isn't mine. I never claimed it was. The anon just wanted to know about the fixes for Yume and I decided to help. I never said "Here's a picture I made from the steps Daibadi gave out". I just saw an anon who wanted help and I help.
Well this is an emotional rollercoaster
>Usually my mum picks my parcels up because it's more convenient to have it shipped there
>Calls that Yume has arrived
>She also informs me that she opened the shipping box at her workplace because her coworkers really wanted to know came from Japan
>tfw NTR'd
>>5665538
What happened next?
>>5665542
That's it for now, I won't get to pick it up until tomorrow. I guess I'm just confused because she never done such a thing before and I usually pick up /m/-related figures or bugmen. So it's the fact that the only time I go for something out of said comfort zone and this happens is really stupid/hilarious.
Anyway I told her to get some masking tape in case mine ends up with floppy knees as well.
>>5665538
At least you didnt get Shamrock
My Yume arrived and I was pleasantly surprised to discover she has none of the flaws people are complaining about! Whoo!
>>5665557
Dont be such a little bitch, you should be fucking pissed she not only opened YOUR mail, but showed it off to a bunch of strangers. Who knows what could have been in there, but it would be worth humiliating your mother if you ordered something like loli doujinshi or an onahole
If my family did that they wouldn't hear the end of it.
>>5665918
Send us a review, senpai.
I missed my order on Amiami but HLJ has it on backorder so I might jump on it maybe.
>>5664316
Combiner Wars Deluxe Groove, not perfect scale but works pretty well.
Had to angle the headband to get the sword and case on the back and still be able to have the head looking up.
>>5665557
I'm a "live and let live"' type, but unless you don't normally mind your mom opening your stuff and showing it to her damn coworkers (and if you don't mind it, why comment about it here?), I'm kinda with >>5665967 in this case. Maybe if you order a lot of stuff or order stuff semi-regularly, you should look into a PO box?
>>5666169
Looks a lot more natural leaning back, have to have the guns down though for stability.
>>5665967
>>5666198
We've been doing it the way it is for years and she never done that. I couldn't really do much about it on the phone but I'll stress more on how it was not cool in person. If it happens again I'll defo have to change my mailing address.
idk, sorry for blogging. I guess I just needed to vent because I was really excited about getting the figure and I feel like the experience is somewhat spoiled now.
>>5666318
She just opened the shipping box right? If so look on the bright side, you face will still be the first one Yume will see.
>>5666159
I'll break out the camera and do it tomorrow. She looks a lot better in person than pictures can do justice to. Satisfied/10
somebody post robot lewds
waiting for gray clover/shamrock hurts.
How many preorders do you have to miss for AmiAmi to blacklist you? Roommate screwed me over on some cash so I probably wont be able to get an unrelated figure for a second time, but I got gray Clover on preorder.
>>5666557
Have some potato pics in the meantime
Her skirt gets in the way of her being able to sit properly which kinda irks me but it's something I have to deal with in the same way that her sleeves make it harder for her shoulder area to be raised higher. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That's what happens when your robots wear metal clothing.
>>5666748
Lunch for Shamrock senpai. His legs actually fit under the re-ment desk, unlike Yume. I think the shoes add a tiiiiiny bit too much height to her.
Got my Yume on Monday, didn't open the box until Wednesday due to work and sick. Came with a couple of the QC flaws. Ponytail wouldn't fit, left skirt thing wouldn't fit, 2 loose joints. I fixed the joints with masking tape just fine, but I took a different route with the ill-fitting pegs. They're 3mm pegs, so I used a pin vise with a 3mm bit to widen the holes. Worked like a dream.
Got my Yume today and she's fantastic.
The quality control is really negligible because they're easy fixes. I still have problems with the waist but its not too bad.
Those skirt flaps are pretty useless though and hides the booty too much.
All these photos of Yume are so goddamn cute.
I'm tempted to drop 110 to buy her from amazon...
>>5666968
Just backorder her at HLJ.
http://hlj.com/product/MLS91004/Act
>>5666908
>Those skirt flaps are pretty useless though and hides the booty too much.
I still want them to work because I'm not interested in Yume for the lewd shit but because she is a conceptual clusterfuck.
Really tempted to pay that one middleman in my country. He is asking for 15 dollars for the trouble of it after all.
>>5666968
>>5666666
Is actually kind of funny if you think about it.
Shamrock was the ultimate fetish robot toy I remember right now, even more lewd than any of the queen's blade girls. And somehow, daibadi did a 180° turn and launched something that's simply cute.
It isn't like they didn't tried to made her lewd, is just her design is much more fitting for cute scenes than anything lewd.
>>5666975
Even this is more cute than lewd.
>>5666975
How is that chibi Rex? Been thinking of getting it.
>>5666753
>2016
>not liking tall cute girls
>>5666318
Nah, man, it's all good. We were just confused about you being so OK with it, that's all.
>>5667187
Not him, but I'm paranoid of my mother opening my stuff because she's always ordering things [with my dad's money] and so nearly every package that gets delivered is hers, so she opens stuff right away without even bothering to check who it's for. Thankfully all she's seen of mine were a Neca Koba I bought from an anon in the BST and Shapeways parts I designed.
Amiami cancelled my Mel preorder. Fuck AmiAmi.
>>5667462
Why'd they do that? Did you miss payments or cancel a buch of stuff?
>>5667466
*bunch
>>5667466
I didn't do anything. Mel was the only pre order I had. I sent them an email asking about it but I doubt anything will happen. Fuck AmiAmi.
>>5667468
Thats weird. Thats one of the few reasons I dont use amiami. Try looking at HLJ. Her orders are closed right niw but she opens up every now and then maybe you can snag her there
>>5667471
How long does it usually take for HLJ's backorder to get in stock/ship?
>>5667472
Well when I had ordered my Yume, she was immediately backordered and only took about a week and half to restock and ship mine. I think it depends on the item, some can come in quick others take more time. When they do restock though they send the payment request and then the shipping depending on what you chose.
>>5666366
That's one way to look at it, assuming they didn't like flip open the velcro flap on the box (at least I assume she has one too like the others?)
>>5667187
I wasn't sure how to handle it in hindsight, figured laughing it off would be a good way of coping but I'm still upset actually.
>>5667462
That sucks, had to doublecheck if my reservation was still in. Sorry man.
Welp, after all that nonsense I finally got to unbox my copy. Managed to dodge most QC bullets. Knees are okay, torsos stays in place, only had to use the hairdryer to get the ponytail piece in.
>>5666159
Okay, so. I've got a pretty decent Yume. As a matter of fact, I'd say Shamrock's waist is looser than hers. I can hold her upside and give her a little shake and it won't come apart. This is good.
>>5668183
Her joints are pretty tight and are a bit difficult for me to pull her apart in some places. Unfortunately, she's a bit more restricted because of her clothing.
>>5668183
>>5668188
Her ankles can't move as far back/forward as Shamrock's because of the shoes.
>>5668183
>>5668188
>>5668189
She's just a tiiiiiny bit less flexible because of the ankle/shoulder clothing bits, but it's mostly the same.
>>5668183
>>5668188
>>5668189
>>5668191
Because of the way their hip joints are configured, you can make them shift their weight to one side. Again, Shamrock is a bit better at this than Yume.
>A lot of QC problems since the last thread
>Good/Ok Yumes appearing
>There's a very slim chance I may get a good one
I can't wait for mine to arrive, I want this dream to end soon.
>>5668207
>tfw dodging a defective yume and ordering it from HLJ
T-thanks, Amiami.
has anyone found any source for compatible accessory parts? i know clover has holes on her head that can plug shamrocks ears into, but i dont want to buy another shamrock just for some ears, is there anywhere we can buy compatible parts that can be used on these polynians?
>>5668197
God your poses are so fucking gaudy.
>>5668733
It was such a shitty day for lighting so I stopped caring about making them look nice.
>>5668722
Some anon on previous threads have added on the horns from the Skull Massacre MSG kit to their Clover. He added others to her too. I assume that other MSG sets are compatable with the Polynians. There are also pics on google of Clover mixed with revoltech parts. I think these are parts of the revoltech Arbalest.
>>5667156
I personally think its great but not worth the asking price. Lots of hidden articulation between the toes and full neck movement.
I got it for half the price and it feels just right for a Nendo-ish Rex.
Got the hair piece in, aww yes. Loving her
>>5665967
>If my family did that I'd stammer, and choke on my words as I nervously shifted on my feet, staring at the floor, as sweat beaded on my greasy brow, wishing I was as powerful in real life as I am online.
Fixed that for you, Slick.
>>5668892
Got pics of the horn one?
>>5670634
Sorry anon. Looks like I don't have it on my phone or saved on my pc.

>>5670851
>>5670852
>>5670854
This is the last one
>>5670855
This wasn't part of that set, but she has other parts attached, and I like her expression
First time Polynian owner here. I got my Yume a few weeks ago and just recently put her together. I pretty much got all the QC issues from the check list. Though after the giving her the recommended knee surgery(Which was surprisingly easy!), she stood tall and poseable again. The only thing that gave me any real problem was the weak waist, which I took the recommend fixes, but it took a few hard pushes to get sort of sturdy.
All and all, I still love her adorable design despite the structure flaws out the box. I was at first miffed about the QC issues, but considering how the actual Garage kits of these figures were much harder to put together, these easy fixes are way more bearable. I hope there's more build improvements made to this line by the time Pinkle is released, because she's looking to be cutie Robutt!
>>5670885
You're welcome, I was doing night shift at work and literally had nothing better to do, glad I could help out some anons
So in terms of design, Yume or Mel (the one with the twintails and the swimsuit)?
>>5672045
Yume. Mel is also good but I prefer the schoolgirl outfit over the swimsuit.
I hope they make Rosa soon, I like that design.
>>5672083
That girl with the scarf and red hair looks awesome.
I wonder if she's intended to appeal to some specific fetish.
>>5672045
Mel. I was first attracted to Yume, but looking at Mel closer, she looks better, the swimsuit is just so good

>>5673770
I think people just like to mess with casual buyers. Makes them think figures are rare and stuff
>>5673859
I hope someone buys it. As bad as it is, I would probably get a good chuckle out of it.
In other news, just got my Yume in the mail today. The weekend got in the way of shipping.
>>5672114
Thanks! You got nice taste in Robutts.
Just got my Yume in today, and I'm pleased to announce her only QC issues are a wobbly knee joint and a loose wrist socket, both on her left side (plus the ubiquitous ponytail socket, but that's SUCH an easy fix I don't count it). I'm starting to think it was just the first batch that shipped out or the ones that shipped from certain locations that had the major issues.
FYI, I know of the fixes for thickening pegs, but are there any for narrowing sockets? having her sword hand fall off every time I arm her is kinda annoying, but tolerable.
>>5674560
Where did you get it from? HLJ?
I'm still waiting for mine from Amiami, I'm scared about what problems she may come with.
>>5671248
>>5674591
Actually, I got her from AmiAmi. Go fig.
Fingers crossed, anonbro.
>>5674560
Mine only had a semi-loose knee too. She also has one shoulder that doesnt go in all the way into the peg hole. Her right side hair attachment sometimes falls out every now and then. Aside from that everything else was great. Joints were nice and her skirt stays on well too. Sadly I don't know of any way to narrow sockets. I would suggest nail polish since that works for making pegs fit and such but don't know if it'll work.
>>5674591
I got mine from HLJ after they got more in stock after being backordered.
So my two Time's showed up today. First one was aces, she'll need to get her head dunked in warm water but that's it.
The second is pic related, right out of the box. Here's hoping she's just a little Derp and not actually QC nightmare.
>>5674631
Mine had her head turned like that too. The faces as well. She's pretty great though. Hope nothing too bad is up with yours anon.
>>5674638
Got her out of the box, and initial spooks aside, all is well! I'm gonna have to warm water both heads but that's really no big deal.
>>5674654
Great to hear anon! Nice to see that not all Yume's are a mess. Hope you have fun with with her!
>>5674690
Fun by the truckloads. Gonna have to come up with stuff for the whole squad to do.
It's nice to have alt. face options for Clover
>>5674690
How is the Body-kun, senpai?
>>5675316
I like him. Really fun to pose and looks nice with the clothes I gave him. He's probably one of my favorite figures now for the sheer fun factor.
Has anyone translated her bio card?
Cracked mine open, none of the problems thankfully other than the ponytail being a bit tight, but got it in without too much trouble.
>>5659389
I wish they'd sell accessory packs. Imagine packs of only hair pieces that come in different colors. As it is all the hair pieces are different colors so we can't mix and match.
My Yume came in yesterday. The box was a little bent, but otherwise came out just fine.
I had to same common problems too, with the loose waist and head. I already reinforced the knee joints because she would move if bent back.
Anyone have experience with those standard ball joints? I was considering getting a couple, especially those clear ones.
Anybody gonna swap Yume's blue parts out with Clover parts so we get only pantsu?
>>5677424
>Yumi with only pantsu
>Clover with everything but pantsu
>see all these Yume posts
>people having fun with theirs
>mine is back in the box and stashed away because I got sick of the QC problems
>too lazy to fix it
Godspeed to you all. Her design deserves love.
>>5677539
it's easy as fuck to fix.
Give some love to your Yume, dude.
>>5677539
how much you selling her for then
>>5677639
50 Thousand Dollaroonees
>>5677646
>i'm sick of this toy and all its problems
>not going to sell it though
literally a hoarder.
She really is fun to pose and mess around with. Just wish I had another Polynian like Clover to part swap with.
>>5677648
>a collector must be a hoarder
I'm actually a scalper.
Anybody else think the extra skirt pieces are just kind of annoying?
>>5678044
Yes.
"I hate it, and don't want to make it work, so I put it in the closet instead of selling it to someone who would actually used it"
Yes. Classic hoarder mentality.
>>5678862
They're unnecessary, I think she looks better without them
>>5678862
Sometimes I find them annoying. Other times I'm okay with them being on but she definitely has a bit more character when it's off since you can pose her more. Plus patsu are great so.
>>5679776
I want to hotglue that tiny sexy robo ass
>>5680221
L-lewd anon!
I wonder if Daibadi has given these figures personalities for the universe that he has made for them?
>>5680591
They're part of a VN, so most likely yes.
>>5680416
Not as lewd as that.
>>5680416
>>5679776
>>5677751
>>5677520
>>5676954
I couldn't take these ero-kawaii pics anymore.
I ordered two from HLJ.
>>5680927
I wish I would have gotten 2. Some Yume on Yume action sounds great. Didn't have the cash though. Ended up getting a Body-kun instead.
>>5681148
W, why she have a slit? I mean, what's the purpose on a totally not-vagina cut in there?! How deep can go /d/aibadi into their fetishism?!
>>5681174
It's just panel lining, of course. Clover has it too, and she's naked.
>>5681174
They might just like detail. That or the keep riding up with all the movement she makes. I like to think she's just a robot school girl with a secret lewd side.
>>5681262
That's what they want us to think.
>>5681326
What do you think she'd be like in bed?
>>5681539
I like to think that she's a bit of a freak. Like she puts up a front but she changes and will do anything to please her man (you, me, Mike fron accounting). She wants to make sure her partner is happy and pleased. And she maybe a bit of a masochist at times.
Also, I need to take more shots of my Yume. Running kinda low.
>I have completely accepted that I am a pervert
I get a vibe that she seems to be the type who only fights because she has to, but would rather be loving.
>>5681174
It looks pretty rough though
Not just a slit but 'oops I sat on a table saw a little'
Looks like my Yume and Aegis have finally arrived in britbong land, I'll have to go to the post office tomorrow to pay the customs charge and pick them up.
>>5681663
That paint app is concerning.
>>5682649
Some of the paint job does look a little iffy in some places. Not too bad that I fell like they didn't give a crap but I expected small errors seeing as how this was a mass released figure and there was bound to be small inconsistencies. Still though, shes a nice figure over all.
Here's hoping Mel gets released with no issues whatsoever, although all things considered, Yume wasn't a complete disaster.
Where's a good site to order this if you live outside America?
>>5684062
Uh, any of the otaku shit sites?
I find it better to deal with them than with faggots like Ebay and Amazon.
>>5684062
I would suggest any import sites like >>5684092 says. Places like Amiami, HLJ, stuff like that. Definitely way better than Ebay and Amazon. Ebay is the worst since people like to scalp. I don't know what shipping would be like for you though. So good luck in your endeavors.
>>5683012
I hope she comes out without any issues either. She's the only other one that's announced I plan to buy for now.
They're finally here. Got all the expected issues - Yume's right knee is floppy and the ponytail peg is too big but other than that she's perfect. I'll unbox Aegis once I've sorted Yume.
>>5684260
>Other than that she's perfect.
That confirmation bias trying to over shadow that buyer's remorse.
If it has flaws like that it's far from being perfect.
>>5684272
Alright, other than that she's good.
Less triggered now champ?
>>5684260
Been debating whether or not to get Aigis. Haven't really seen/heard all that much about her to know what to expect. I know she's larger that the Polynians though but thats about it. Her price tag has been hindering me as well.
>>5684374
So far she seems alright. Her legs seem a little loose for my liking (I'll try the tape fix later) and I'm not a fan of the almost pearlescent white joints they've used on some parts of the body. The flame effects she comes with look absolutely great and I love the proportions of her so if you can find her for a decent price I'd say go for it.
>>5684381
Thanks for the bit of info anon. Might look into it a bit later. See if I can find her at an okay price.
>>5684260
>lists flaws
>claims it's perfect
>>5684282
>acts like a cunt because he's called out on it.
pic related
>>5684539
You keep posting that picture like it means something.
>>5684539
>Look mum I posted it again
Had another small photo shoot with Yume. Body-kun had fun.
>>5685563
I s body-kun worth it? I might get him for illustration reasons. He looks like he was made for that better than your average art mannequin.
>>5686227
Well I think he's great. He's made with the new body type it supposed to me more human like and therefore more useful to artists. Still though he's fun to pose and mess around with. If you can find him at a decent price now, I would say go for it or just wait since Bandai will have reissues of the grey ones and all new black colored body-kun/chan in October.
>>5686605
The clothes are from a 3A Yellow Hornet I had. You can find sets of clothes on ebay sometimes for a pretty good price. Though to tell you the truth I don't know if they have anything akin to what you're looking for.
>>5686737
She ended up being cuter without the skirt, although more lewder (which is not surprising)
For the love of god, would someone please sell this man your Shamrock >>5687851
>>5687863
How much are you willing to pay?
Roboku no Pico
>>5688099
That works waaaay too well.
>>5687868
Email me an offer.
The robots look cute, what show are they from?
>>5688570
none.
>>5688570
As yet unreleased VN.
