Purchased something on eBay and somehow my package has been routed through the three worst usps facilities in the US. After hearing the horror stories, I can only imagine they are raping and pillaging my package.
>>
The fact that "Priority Mail 2-Day" is trademarked as the service name when 2 day transit time isn't even guaranteed should warrant a class-action lawsuit. It's fucking misleading.
>>
>Sell tons of shit on eBay
>Never really had problems with things getting damage in transit
>Usually sell shit in the range of $20~$100
>My highest auction ever, ends at about $350
>Box arrives to the buyer, looking like it got ran over by a steamroller.
>Didn't bother getting insurance, because they rarely pay out on toys/collectibles, and I've heard this is a common case for others as well.

T-thanks USPS.
>>
>>5648607
The LA sort facility is the worst sort facility, by far. The Chicago facility is 1000x better.
>>
>>5648769
Is it really? I never have problems with it. What's the story?

>>
>>5648769
the facts are opposite of what you claim.
>>
>>5648836
How do they even do this to that big of a box?
>>
>tfw Canadian
>tfw getting screwed by postage all the time
>tfw customs

It could be worse. You could be a canuck.
>>
>>5648896
by all means show me this proof. Nevermind that there are countless stories on google about how shitty the LA facility is, far more than any of the other facilities. It's a shithole and everyone knows it.
>>
>>5648988
Meant to say "show me proof of these facts" instead of "show me this proof"
>>
>>5648988
there are also piles of stories telling that Chicago Metro is slow as a snail, and that the NYC facility steals stuff. I've personally observed the Chicago facility taking days to move stuff out.
>>
>>5648836
Yeah, what happened to your parcel is definitely related to the shipping method. Fucking dumbass.
>>
>>5649017
Every time I have a package enter the Chicago facility it ships out before the end of the day. Every single time, and it's happened at least 6 times. Every single package I have that enters LA takes 3 day's minimum, using EMS for both.
>>
>>5649117
SAL ships via cargo ship and EMS ships via plane, so yeah, it makes a difference.
>>
My local post office has, for a little while, had a serious backlog of packages and has been a general mess, something a post lady told me herself. I have very often had to go to the post office to pick stuff up, and that also isn't helped by the fact that my building has had incidents of package theft before.

However, they're not too far away, and just today two post people came and buzzed as many residents as possible to give them their packages. They've also usually pretty good about getting packages when they're in, or at least they have been with me.
I'm thankful for them. They work hard.

Completely wrong. The parcels don't have priority so they wait until they have space to ship them, but SAL ships via plane.

What you're talking about iscalled surface shipping.

Seriously what's up with Canada Post.

>Bricklink order from BC (AB here)
>takes over three weeks to arrive

>Bricklink several orders from Okotoks
>takes a week on average to arrive
>one time took 2 weeks

>Bricklink order from Calgary
>3 hour drive away
>it's been a month now since it was mailed and never arrived

>Bricklink order from within my own city
>mailed this weekend
>has not arrived and it's wednesday now

Also pic related, I'm in Edmonton and this happened, seriously fuck Canada Post.
>>
Has anyone ever requested USPS to hold a package to pick up? I always get "your tracking number does not have sufficient information to intercept."
>>
>>5648836
Last time I bought something and used SAL shipping US customs opened the box, cut it into squares, and shoved the pieces into a new box with my stuff. I don't know what the fuck they were thinking.

I recently ordered stuff from amiami for the first time and seeing those boxes got me worried now
In relation to this thread the USPS in my area will ship my stuff undamaged which is nice but idk if this has happened to you guys
I'll be tracking my order and my stuff will be marked delivered but when I get home from work I find that it wasnt delivered and i spend the next 2 days trying to get my shit
This has happened about 3 times now and have lost one package
>>
>>5649017
I never seem to have that problem, but I'm in the Chicago area so maybe that changes it somehow?
>>
>>5649248
I'm in the middle of dispute with Canada post right now. They fucked up a 500 dollar shipment to me and instead of contacting the shipper or me they decided they would just mark it as I didn't want it and sent it back to the sender. They fucked up processing at customs by putting an incomplete and incorrect address and the customs paperwork and tried to hide it by placing stickers over it. I have a gigantic mountain of evidence against them but they will only let HLJ take part in the dispute so they have to do a mail trace. Mail trace ends next week but I have a feeling im going to have to complain to the ombudsman.
>>
Been waiting a Month for a Manda order that's around £180. Hopefully it's not lost and is just taking a while to travel the world

Possible they're holding it a post office for you?

I have a PO Box since I'm a poorfag living in a shitty apartment, so any time anything comes in for me I have to go to the local post office and pick it up myself.
>>
>>5653802
This happened in Feb
I think it stays in the office for 2 weeks before sending it back
The odd thing about all of it is that the package didnt come with a tracking number so locating it was hard to begin with
I dont have a PO box or anything but i probably should
>>
>>5653827

Ok, that sounds really weird. I think any sort of package in the US is supposed to come with a tracking number if it's sent via USPS.
>>

>>

>>
>>5653908
If the seller never provided valid tracking that confirmed delivery then eBay should've resolved the case if your favor. Unless you waited too long or fucked something up somehow.

Try filing a claim through PayPal, I think there's still time.
>>
>>5648896
LA/LAX is the worst one to end up in; You never had anything pass through it, if you know nothing of it. You'd be lucky to even get anything after a month.

Hello, SAL. We meet again.

That's just one from Mandarake. My other SAL still hasn't left AmiAmi yet after about 3 days.

Least I should be getting Venom and Saitama's nendo through EMS soon. Praying they might just slip through HMRC's grubby mitts.

Figma Anzu from Manda and Parform Labrys and a Koromaru keychain from AmiAmi. Still haven't received tracking info from the latter and Anzu's status hasn't changed either but I'm not surprised.

Venom and Saitama got stung by customs unfortunately so now I gotta wait for a letter from those bastards once again.

Not the guy ur talking to but think about this.
OIL
Oil is a 3 letter word
3+3 is 6
6 is found 3 times in the devil
6 6 6
6X3 = 18
18 is the legal age a person can join the army
Army
Army is a 4 letter word
Do you know what else is a 4 letter word?
Iraq
The army goes to Iraq and the Middle East to get oil.
Iraq has 4 letters and oil has 3 letters
4+3= 7
7 can correspond with the G in masonry
G is in the center of the compass
Do you know what else is in the center of a shape?
That's right the eye in the triangle
The shape of the eye is a circle and the shape of the letter O is a circle
So oil is illuminati confirmed

Man. I had that issue with UPS when I ordered something from Mattel. An $8 package was stolen off my doorstep. Thankfully Mattel replaced it but I had to use UPS's program where you could have your order held at a sorting facility because they wouldn't let me set the package to require a signature.

Then when my package arrived at the facility, I showed up and the clerk said it wasn't there. He walked to the back and he found it. Somebody didn't scan the package when it arrived.
