The base of the rotors, tail assembly and knees are pinned in but other than that everything else is balljoints and swivels with the odd screw. Shouldn't have too much trouble disassembling him completely if you have something to knock out the pins.

That being said, Blades is probably the most extreme case of it. If you get a new Vortex and shave down the hfg peg a bit beforehand, it probably won't break. My Blades' port is actually still in tact. I'm just nervous about it and haven't put Defensor together for a long time.

Brawl has a new weapon and nothing else; Rook is given a new shell, some treads, a head, and that huge fucking drill.

Both reuse the Betatron Scattershot. Takara further retools the mold witha new head, a new chest, new kneepads, and new torso chest halves.
Hasbro also comes with Scrounge, a head-retool of Legends Cosmos that comes with the shuttle targetmaster. Hasbro's Computron comes with newly-molded hands and feet that do not transform; the feet have a similar range to Victorion's feet.
Takara Computron retains each mold's HFG's, but includes weapons that can combine into a larger blaster for the gestalt to wield.
