Bumping my own thread with The Other World / Cosmo Crass
>>5645633
What? Everyone on here remembers Street Sharks.
Some pics.
Arco distributed these toys in the US as The Other World. Outside of the US they were called Cosmo Crass. They were especially big in Italy during the 80's, as that country was really into swords and sandals movies at the time.
What about Crystar?
Albegas a.k.a. Voltron III

>>5645782
I want these to make a return. I always see the cartoon series on DVD for sale at Walmart.

I kinda want that alien.
Cowboys. They're cowboys and they're cows.
>>5645834
I think I still have some of those in the attic at my folks' place.
Starriors.
If these came back I would totally buy them.
Even I barely remember these.
Manglors. You could rip off their arms and legs and attach them to other figures.
Starcom

More He-Man rip offs.
>>5645906
Technically He-man is a bit of a Blackstar clone. Blackstar is actually more of a Thundarr clone.
Battle Beats anyone?
Dune
Not obscure but I bet nobody here had them.
Micronauts
Mork
Super Alternators
Transformers / Machine Robo rip off.
90's kids might remember these.

Super Mario Bros movie figures
Literally the worst toy ever made.
>>5646007
I have teo of the goombas and mario. Their actually well sculpted and decent figures. The movie is what was shit.
>>5646010
The only figure I ever wanted was the Goomba.
>>5645968
Got me.
Wonder Borg
>>5646007
I have all 3 on the top. complete too. I like that they have jets on their shoes, so i play as if they have the ability to do rocket-propulsed kicks at the other toys
>>5646007
I loved the movie as a kid, and I really wanted that Mario and Luigi, but I never saw them in stores.
Literally the only figure I owned from the line.
>>5645991
I went through like two Jones' as a kid, the fucking gimmick broke on both of 'em pretty shortly after I got them.
Hightower lasted much longer. I have absolutely no idea what happened to my Tackleberry. I still got his weapons somewhere.
If you didn't have this, your parents hated you.

The fun i had with these cannot be compared to any other toy i played with back then.
>>5645633
Are you stupid, OP?
Everyone knew about street sharks. There's even merchandise made for adults now since it was popular. Holy shit.
This was always my favorite. I had no frame of reference for what it was, just thought it was boss ass

>>5647317

Biker Mice from Mars anyone
I think these were called Numbots? Numberbots? Who knows. I enjoyed them a lot, though.
There was also an alphabet line, as I recall, but I never got my hands on those.
>>5645782

I remember those, but never, could find them again
>>5646826

>>5645870
The thing that the off brand TMNT wanna-be's lacked was fun packaging, I would have bought any of them if they had cards that featured art half as fun as the original Turtles toys.
wow this thread actually had some toys I didn't recognize instead of the usual "obscure" toys that are always posted.
>>5645958
I had a tank from this line that was like a cobra hiss ii but way cooler. fit a bunch of figures. I liked it more than any real joe vehicle I had.
I had this fucking amazing thing as a kid. The little pilots were the right size to fit in my G1/G2 Transformers (diaclone) cockpits/seats, so they made perfect humans for that line.
So yeah Manta Force gave me a human space force, and an evil human space force to fight my Transformers. This toy is GOAT playset. I think my uncle got it for me in England.
These right here. how you could basically mutilate then immediately re-assemble them was the shit.

>>5648138
Lotte gum robots nigguh
there's so many candy toys back then
Ok, I've got two for you guys. First is Air Raiders.
>>5648356
Second is Flying Fighters
When I was a kid I had this figure that was like one of the Crash test Dummies toys, it had little red buttons on it's back and you could pop off it's limbs.
The actual style of the figure was more like something from Masters of the Universe though, a green and yellow alien with a black helmet. One of the arms that you could swap was like a battering ram with the ram being a yellow snake.
I've been trying to figure out what the figure and toy line were for years as it was one of my favourites when I was little but I've never been able to find it.
I can't believe how much of the stuff here I had odd bits of, like the Computer Warriors.
I had one of these Sectaurs (pic) for years that I didn't know what it was.
A toy I would like to know more about had a brown base shaped to look like rubble onto which a couple of US soldiers slotted in kneeling positions. They were scaled about 3 3/4", and a lever in the back of the base made them move around as if they were shooting and throwing stuff. I've no idea what they were and have never seen anything like them elsewhere.
I remember this toy I had as a kid.
Matchbox-sized cars that can combine and form spaceships or dragons or robots.
It's like a fusion of matchbox and lego.
Anyone remember these guys

>>5649503
They still try. I hate this fucking toy line, but I'd buy blind bagged plastic turds if they didn't come with these retarded squishy dogs.
>>5649638
Street Sharks are bank, son. You're sitting on a goldmine if those are complete and in good shape.
>>5649244
Beetleborgs was popular. Nothing obscure about that.
>>5649275
Not obscure.
My fucking parents bought Heroes of the Bible for me. The articulation didn't make sense and the fatty's hands were upside down.
I had an action figure as a kid from a small toy line that was like Saint Seiya. It was taller than 3.5 inches, green, and had silver armor that was raptor-like.
Can you guys identify it?
>>5645757
I never had the toys but wanted them.
100% remember the pilot for the show, i owned it. if you havnt seen it, youre welcome
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vslzh_jTmEE
Did anyone else have these? They were tall by early 90s standards (like seven inches) and spoke in a very garbled voice when you pushed the buttons on their chests. They sort of have a GI Joe meets Mortal Kombat look to the designs.
>>5650134
Shogun Cyber Warriors?
>>5645759
I still have this guy somewhere
Apparently this line was based on a live action Tarzan tv show, and it was going to include John Carter of Mars in its next season, before it got canceled. But I didn't know about any of that at the time, I just thought it was a cool muscular bug man.
>>5650375
See I remember this line, but only remembered recently. It was around when Godzilla had a toyline.
one of my favourite bath time toys.
>>5650375
I had no idea that was a TV show. I thought it was just Trendmasters going "Tarzan is cool, let's make some Tarzan toys for no reason in particular" kind of like they were doing with Godzilla.
>>5650395
Not obscure.
>>5650397
so sorry, i'm so sorry, it won't happen again. i have deleted my post accordingly. thank you for pointing that out to me.

Well shit, they ain't in good shape anymore.

>>5650532
>>5650536
>>5650543
I had that one.
It was one of the many gifts my baby sitter gave me. She was great for giant walking robots and weird X-Men toys when she would visit Mexico.
I think I win. Anyone know the toy line Jummy's boys? Little colorful round robots with little wehicles. You could also mix and match the robot parts, since all robots were able to separate at the waist. My mom got me one when I was little and it was a precious favorite toy for me for a long time. Pic related.
>>5645676
LOL, I have one of these! I never knew what it was, I thought it came from those gross out garbage bin toys or whatevs...
>>5645875
Did that even work tho?
Awhile back I was contemplating whether I should have kept this guy or not. It was one of the only toys I had and I wasn't sure if I should have kept it locked up in my closet or just gave it away. Sadly I chose the later and kind of regret it now.
I don't know if there was any other way to get this guy but I remember it being supposedly some sort of limited special addition Meanie that you had to have mailed to you. Some sort of special chef boyardee promotional toy.

>>5650852
Really? I've been on /toy/ for years and never seen it posted before.

Do you mother fuckers remember Z-Bots?
>>5645845
I have no idea why I owned this, I hated it so much.
>>5651385
Yesssss, I had so many of these. My favorite was one that came with an incredibly small car, smaller than micro machines, and it had a pin in the back that would pop out and launch the car. That and a laser tag one that broke immediately.
>>5652765
I had that exact one.
>>5645860
I remember being absolutely amazed by those holograms when the toy line first came out. Never managed to get my hands on one, though.
>>5648088
This one? I had it and the F-15 too, they were both fucking great. Just wish I could find a picture of one with the plastic canopies intact.
>>5645958
No, man, no, don't do this to me. That space ship was my favorite thing ever and it got stolen. I have never recovered. I see them on ebay once in a while, but they are always missing guns or have the wrong color canopy.
>>5645633
A local hobby shop here carries old GI Joes, old TMNT figs, Star Wars figs, MotU, the works.
I check for Street Sharks every time I go there and never see a single one. Life is shit.
I can't remember what it was called but back in middle school or highschool or something I had these weird battle toys that were like little ping-pong balls with faces painted on them and holes for little plastic weapons to get stuck in, and they'd fight on this cool little tower thing with a fan inside that made them float in the air knocking each-other around.
I don't have a pic because I can't remember what they're called, but they were a pretty fun Beyblade-esque time-waster.
>>5651911
I still need him too.
I scored the Major Munch variant in package for $12 a few years ago. All of my other fighters are in shit condition but I've got most of their weapons at least.
>>5652692
I have no memory of that line or the show it was from, but I would have adored them. They look like some wonderful midpoint between She-Ra and Sailor Moon.
>>5648138

>>5647645
