Lego General FAQ/Guide seriously does anybody use this I'm just pasting from previous thread edition:

> race war now!
May building challenges:
> make your own Dimensions team based off of a new franchise
> create a new Music star/act for Legovision 2016, also include any instruments or stage props, and don't forget an awesome name
> wasn't there also something about animal vehicles
> build a vehicle or fleet worthy of riding into Valhalla, shiny and chrome
> greeble: remake any set or build something with an absurd amount of greebling
> build a mighty micro vehicle (any surface type)
> can may be mini moc madness month: spaceship edition? yes it can
> build a brick-built animal!
> make a stop-motion / multi-frame animation
> kill yourself

This is considered a handsome man? idk maybe this is a bad photo, but if this is a handsome man then I'm feeling pretty good about myself.
>>5644280
It's the Youtube kids that have weird obsession with Jang.
Friendly people are handsome
>>5644308
nobody reads those anyway

>"Nuthin' much. Just crossin' the street n' shit".
>>5644327
>>5644280
I think his voice plays a huge part in why people like him so much. He sounds like... a kind, old man?
>>5644288
He does good reviews. I tried watching The Brick Show after Jang Bricks and its trash in comparison. That annoyingly loud intro music ruins everything for me. I'm surprised nobody has convinced them to change it.
Jang is also a good person. He once witnessed a homeless man get struck by a vehicle on the freeway and he stopped to help the homeless man and console the family who was in the car who struck him. He posted a video explaining all this and was visibly frustrated that nobody else stopped to help. Good, good guy.
>tfw after work and the urge overtakes me
Got Lance horse, Moltar smasher, and the blue elf dragon. I almost got Skyra's Castle because it's been marked down to like $60 and need Elf stuff for my three-way war of Nexo/Lava/Elf
http://thejang.net/work/resume/
quite impressive
>>5644378
plus the brick show guys are complete tools and scalper scum, Jang takes all the sets he reviews and doesn't want to keep and donates them to charity

How can grown ass adults lack self awareness that they are in fact looking and playing with a children's toy?

Still needs more teeth and hors tho.
Also those eye-parts will look waaay better in transparent orange-red. I think those were in some Bionicle sets.

I'd buy the Jurassic Park Visitor center, and Johnny 5 in a heartbeat.
Although J5 needs some bigger treads or something. They see kinda small.
>>5644631
Gingerbread house and fossil display are the only ones I think have a chance.
Then again Big Bang Theory made it so who knows.
I just found this army I made when I was in high school. I've also got a French army with nearly 200 figures and some various Russian, German states, and Prussians.
I'd really like to sell this but have no idea how much they're worth. I put a lot of money into building this army.
>>5644631
Really rooting for BB-8, it seems too clever to walk away from.

Finding the disney minifigs I want is a pain in the ass. So many ursulas and mickeys out there. Almost though I had a buzz, but turned out to be ursula anyway. At least I found an Alice in the bunch, and have a better idea what to feel for now. Will have to go back and see if the display hasn't been picked clean by then.
>>5644631
Johnny 5, that fishing store, and the fossils all look great to me. I can see the fossil one actually making it.
>>5644793
>Finding the disney minifigs I want is a pain in the ass. So many ursulas and mickeys out there. Almost though I had a buzz, but turned out to be ursula anyway. I mistook Ursula for Buzz too, at first.
His bag is actually a lot less bulky than I expected it to be.
Feel for his wings. They're separate pieces that peg into the armor.
>>5644799
Yeah, I saw in the instructions that they were separate when I got home. I had a feeling it was ursula, but I got it anyway cus I was already at the cash. Don't mind her, but wasn't a priority.
Just glad I got Alice first trip. Felt for the potion bottle, and didn't feel any slopes like malificant. She's probably the least unique to feel for in what I want as everything else has a pretty obvious part. Just need to actually find the part.
>>5644777
Anyone here a total fag for the Friends shit?
They look so appealing to me.
>>5644839
they generally have very nice part selections. I've bought several since my dark ages ended some months ago

Hello again, /lg/.
I've heard some of you use your Sig Figs as like a Paper Stanley and take them wherever you go on vacation and take pics of them there.
I think I've seen some. Who here actually does it?
I'm going to Virginia Beach the weekend after this one and I'm bringing my Skg Fig to do just that, and I want to see what you guys got, too.
jesus fuck is there a more relaxing lego channel?

Is the Nexo Knights Theme worth buying in on?
I mostly collect the marvel sets but i love castle themes. they seem cool but idk, im hesitant to pull the trigger on them
>>5644856
Get the FUCK OUT OF HERE
I LOVE IT
aw man
>>5644867
almost every theme has at least one or two sets worth buying. nexo knights is no exception either. for a start, you could look at the king's mech or clay's rumble blade. If you like castles, the fortrex is okay. pretty neat moving castle on treads
I will go on a slight tangent and say ninjago's sky shark and raid zeppelin are the only sets worth buying, especially concerning the upcoming summer sets.
>>5644856
Is that hot dog suit the same as the cmf one?
>>5644861
I might do it in the summer again. I was sweating bullets everytime i had some of the little fuckers on me though. I'm always so scared of losing my little plastic children.
I know the one anon that makes the dark bley/lime green atlantis torso spacemen does it too. But I haven't seen his builds recently afaik.

Is it possible to use a pull-back motor to create walking builds? Something like a tank with legs or a crab.
>>5645268
Do you know of a mechanism that will be able to turn a single rotation into a walking motion? There is no reason that you shouldn't be able to. You will need to be able to wind the motor back to be able to use it.
>>5645274
Right, how silly of me. What I need is a wind-up motor.
Well that trip was a let down. Felt up some bags and though I had a Buzz, Genie, and Peter Pan. Ended up with Ariel, Cheshier Cat, and Peter Pan. 1/3 isn't so bad, I guess? Did find some series 6 mixels, and picked up one I never had a chance to get though.
Only thing I knew I was feeling up were stich. Must have passed up 6 of them at least. Felt up for legs that didn't move, then the big head, felt the ears, and then tossed it back cus it wasn't a green alien.
>>5645120
Liking the build. If you're trying to scale it better could try making the body a little longer and it might look more accurate. Or use 1x2 with a hole in the centre bricks, then to get the side details those minifig stud backpack things handing off the ends. Might not be as solid that way though.
>>5645280
Might spring for an electric motor if you're going to be buying stuff.
Post artsy photos
Powerpig has pretty cozy pictures
>>5645145
Fucking sold. There needs to be more city sets like this.
>>5645289
I never bought anything motor related and I know nothing about the "science" behind it. I'd love to build walking creatures but all I have is pullback motors. Those are good for vehicles with wheels but I want something more juicy. I need a good starting point I guess.
I'm fascinated by this guy's build but it looks like something way out of my league:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/jastermereel08/3390536288/in/faves-102085494@N02/
>>5644642
Even if it goes through, how can it be pulled off without new pieces? It's not like Lego can pull its old magnets out of its ass.
Is anyone interested in a quick write up of a feeling guide for the Disney CMF? I feel like there have been a fair few posts about mistaking the figs for others. I did have a little trouble with a few at first, but I ended up feeling out the whole set in one go.
Does anyone have scans of the checklist insert for the Disney wave?
>>5645321
I'd be into that. I still have 2-3 more I'd love to get, but I'm missing the subtle differences needed to tell.
Let's talk /comfy/ LEGO channels. Everyone says jang because it's the obvious answer, but is there a better channel than BuildingWithDaDaandRiley?
>tfw you will never have qt daughter to build and make lego youtube videos with
>tfw you will grow old watching other people enjoy their families and lives together
The best cracklink bag is the one that's full of free extras.
>>5645321
Tried my hand at one:
>Stitch
Short legs, check for large ears on the head
>Alien
Short legs, check for short ears abd antenna on head
>Cheshire Cat
Short legs, tail
>Mr Incredible
2x2 tile, small hair
>Syndrome
2x2 tile, large hair
>Peter Pan
Feel for the ears on the pointy hat
>Captain Hook
Large fucking hair+hat, sword, check for legs
>Aladdin
Hair, lamp, double check the legs after finding the lamp
>Genie
Lamp, tail (double check to make sure it's not Ariel's)
>Ariel
Tail (feel for the wide end), large hair
>Ursula
Huge fucking tentacle body
>Maleficent
Slope dress
>Mice
Feel for the head, distinguish with Minnie's dress
>Ducks
Head, good luck figuring out which head accessory is which
>>5645379
Oh forgot these two:
>Alice
Dress, regular minifig head
>Buzz Lightyear
Jetpack, wing parts (they come separate)
>>5645385
Alice's hair really stands out to me.
>>5645379
>>5645385
I'd also add that peter pan's daggers might be a tell. The double daggers on the tab is pretty distinct, and they have a little give, which can reassure if the head isn't enough for you. Careful not to mistake this for ariel's shell and check for the point ends though.
Alice is pretty telling with her potion bottle. The lack of Maleficent's slope dress will make it clear you have an alice, and not a part of the staff.
Everything else I thought I knew what I was doing failed for me.
>>5645378
Just one brown wing? no matching one for the other side? I think that's just piss me off.
Where's the best place to get custom tools/printed pieces that aren't military related?
1 Stitch - You might confuse him with the mice because of the ears. Stitch’s are longer. You should be able to tell if they are perfect circles or more elongated. He also has a molded tuft of hair between the ears. The other distinguishing feature is the short legs, you can’t bend them.
2 Green Alien - If you find his head, you might confuse its ears with genie’s ears, but if you feel the top of his head, you’ll find the antenna. Again look for short legs that don’t bend.
3 Buzz - Feel for the largish chest piece. You may be able to get your fingers in the armor, but remember to confirm it is buzz by finding the two wings and the glass.
4 Aladdin - The telltale is the hair, on the top it has a smooth round fez molded into the hair. Confirm by finding the lamp then the legs. The lamp is oblong and you should be able to feel the spout.
5 Genie - The head piece is smooth on the top and it has pointy ears. The hair is a tiny feather piece that is separate from the ears. Make sure to find the tail, it starts out large and tapers in the curs before getting a bit larger to sit on a stud. Check for the lamp (see Aladdin).
6 Maleficent - The skirt is a rectangular slope. That's really it. But if you need to, confirm with the headdress horns and the staff parts
7 Alice - Find the bottle, then the 1x1 round tile. You might confuse the hair with Ariel’s. The hair feels weird. Confirm with the skirt. It's a rectangle (might feel like a half egg) that you can push your finger into.
8 Cheshire- Short legs (non-bending), big head, and a squishy tail. The head feels just like it looks in the pictures. The tail is kinda hard, but stitch and the green alien don't have the extra part.
>>5645414
9 +10 Daisy and Donald- They are literally the same except one part. Both have huge molded heads, they don't really feel like anything if you have it upside down or something. The tail is soft like Cheshire's but it's much smaller. The hat feels very round but has a tiny pin sticking out of the bottom. The bow feels like what it is.
11 +12 Minnie and Mickey- The ears are super round. Mickey has three parts total. Minnie has the same skirt piece as Alice and the same bow as Daisy.
13 + 14 Mr Incredible and Syndrome - Both have a 2x2 tile, so that will tell you you have one of them. The cape isn't really obvious so it comes down to the hairs. Mr Incredible’s is smooth and hollow on the bottom. It also has a kinda three pronged front form the receding hairline. Syndrome’s is pointy on the top and actually a little bigger than you might think.
15 Peter pan- His hat is pointy on the back. Its basically a cone with a bump for a feather, and it also has ears on it. The confirm is the 2 knives attached on the sprue.
16 Hook- His hat is massive. Its as big as Ariel’s tail and slightly smaller than Ursula's body. Finding the sword will let you know you have him
17 Ursula- MASSIVE TENTACLED BODY! The largest piece for sure. The legs spread out in a mostly circular formation. It's almost the shape of a mushroom. Her hair and the trident are also good confirms
18 Ariel - The tail is large and you will be able to find the fins. It feels like a triangle. The hair is also large (larger than you might expect) and smooth.
>>5645400
oh god you reminded me of this monster
it has two large white wing pieces that face the same direction. my rage at the moment of realizing this could have fueled a small city for a year
Why don't you guys use the bump codes? At least at my store they matched up.
>>5645426
Bump codes stopped being reliable ages ago. You might get a match sometimes, but not always.
Also, isn't the feel method more fun?
>>5645426
What exactly am I looking for with these? I think there are some little bumps on the base of the back side, but they aren't matching anything. Not even on the list if that's it.
Anywhere I can buy these in bulk online? I want to collect them all , but no stores near me ever stock the CMFs.
>buying disney shit
>>5645495
feels like simpsons third wave already?
>>5645491
Open a store and order them from Nintendo. Or go to a local independent toy store and offer to pay them to buy a case. Or just buy a bunch from the Lego site if you don't mind randomness, and don't want 60+ at a time.
>>5645503
Wow, my brain is on something tonight. I mean order them from Lego. Don't ask where Nintendo came from... I haven't got a clue.
Sorry to use up an image slot for something non lego related, but do you think this is a good representation of the octan barrels?
>>5644361
Did you scan that?
>>5645516
As long as it's primarily white with about-equal amounts of green and red highlighting.
>>5645516
Don't they usually have the red/green lines on the bottom portion of the barrel?
>>5644972
Hey! I'm the one you gave a (You) to. I just wanted to updated you on a situation.
I went to my walmart, and lo and behold I found the Heartlake Hot Air balloon for 20 fucking dollars.
I kept my cool and shit and paced around and went to go buy a shirt so I can hide it but it wasn't big enough, so I ended up buying the new lego city camping RV as well. I went in line and just my luck only 2 cashes were open so it was pretty shitty, I was standing there sweating. After the longest 10 minutes of waiting, I finally ended up paying and realized what I could have done was just buy a birthday card for a girl.
Maybe try the card trick if you're cool with that.
I feel like a such a fag...
>>5645529
Or just buy it. You're an adult lego fan. Everyone either thinks you're weird, or knows you're just getting some cool parts to build neat stuff they only dream of. Doesn't matter how you try to hide it, they can always tell its for you. Unless you actually have kids with you who can fake that "new toy" excitement.
>>5645516
>>5645519
>>5645522
It's based off of these barrels
>>5645537
>/v/ comes along
>hey guys I heard we needed m ore video games in /toy/ stuff
no thank you
>>5645536
Those looked more for race cars; where you flip 'em upside down and gravity does your work in seconds compared to a typical gas pump. The sets with just barrels always had the lines on the lower half. Not that there were many sets like that to begin with, although most designs still kept the lines under the logo on trucks/etc too.
>>5645537
Always rumours. Especially the past year with Nintendo saying they would be seeking more partnerships and licensing to anyone and everyone.
That said, they already seem to have made a lot of toy deals, even building toys, so I don't see it happening any time soon. Probably will happen in our lifetimes, but not yet.
>>5644479
>>5644513
What stores carry the Disney blindbags? I was at Target today and they just had the standard ones
>>5645594
All stores that usually carry CMFs will have the Disney series. Perhaps your Target hasn't gotten them in yet.
Or maybe someone else got to them all first.
>>5645594
TRU was the only place I found them so far. I think other stores are more iffy on release dates. ie local walmarts only have series 15 still, but they're not really dependent on lego for business.
>>5644953
The fuck is wrong with that?
So I got this sooner than I expected to.
The mech thing is pretty baller. I also dig the space-y Toxikita torso.
>>5645120
Some possible designs for the engines. I think a 1 x 1 round is the correct size for the engine, so you do have some room to scale up the body as this anon says >>5645288
>>5644953
hey, I'm a casual knife fan. butterfly knives are pretty baller
>>5645656
Is this a set or a MOC? Either way, it's very cool.
>>5645420
Will they ever get tired of giving us the same hoth sets over and over?
Do you guys think jang's wife is hot?
Why don't they have any children, /lg/?
So I'm moving to a new place in a couple weeks. What would you suggest doing to move a pretty decent-sized collection?
>>5645691
No, they won't. Although it does speak volumes when that smaller set is better than the one priced 10 times more.
>>5645699

Children = less money/time to spend on Lego
>>5645709
>App bricks included
They put microchips in bricks? Lego is strange.
>>5645723
>They put microchips in bricks? Lego is strange.
Yeah I don't get it either.
Do you think we'll get a third LEGO Amusement park set this year?
Also, I can't decide what to get first, the 10244 Mixer or 10247 Ferris Wheel?
>>5645731
Would be cool to see a rollercoaster. We're getting a small one in the Friends line--maybe they're working on a bigger one?
Also definitely the Ferris Wheel--looks better as a display piece.
>>5645731
Obv get the mixer first, since it has a ticket booth and other random fairground scenery shit
>>5645723
They don't have microchips. The app bricks are made out of a material that touch screens react to, so the bricks are arranged in specifics patterns that unlock content that's related to the set the bricks came in.
>>5645742
I'd go with the Mixer first too, mostly because it's almost 2 years old and might disappear soon
>>5645627
What's the shotgun, Mossberg?
>>5644275
how do we do the race war challenge?
>>5645516
Yeah I pretty much scanned it. Just wanted to see what would happen and it ended up looking pretty cool.
>>5645762
>What's the shotgun, Mossberg?
You guessed it
I never knew there was a big overlap between /toy/ and /k/.

>>5645840
Yeah, eventually. And that bike looks awesome.
That crack in the torso, not so much.
>>5645828
People on this site really need to get past this whole "us and them" attitude when it comes to cross board posting. It can lead to a lot of BS and sometimes really bad paranoia (IE: "go back to /pol/!!!!!!!").
I bet theres posters here from the oddest corners of 4chan, I bet theres at least one poster who even uses /po/. Or /ck/. Or hell, even /z/.
>>5645878
I wasn't complaining, you know.
>>5645880
Oh, I know, and I wasnt fully bitching or anything, just thinking out loud (in text). Sometimes though people act so shocked that people from other boards post on certain boards. I bet theres a TON of overlap that people just dont realize.
But yeah, just putting thoughts to text.

Any other sets that we know of besides the "Fun at the park" one that has an official release date now? Any of the new Star Wars sets, in particular?

/toy/ is kind of a magical place that I'm sure every board wanders into eventually. Basically everyone had toys growing up, and there is always some kind of toy that will hit someone's interest that could make them curious. That or just nostalgia bringing them here to see if anyone remembers that toy they dug up cleaning.
/po/ is also kind of a gimmie, especially in this general. Its building with paper, instead of bricks. (Hell, I used to hang out there a lot when they first made it.)
Going to get Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Buzz, and the Alien tomorrow after work if they have them.
Any last-minute comments/suggestions?
>>5645894
Thanks! Saved those posts on my phone.
Looking through reviews, Ariel is a super-pretty figure, so I might end up arbitrarily picking her up as well, depending on my mood.. No plans to pick up Ursula though. Odd that I'm picking the alien up out of obligation, as well as the off-chance that they'll release a substantial portion of the Toy Story cast in the future..
Should I get the Cheshire Cat? Does that mean that I should pick up Alice too?? FUCK, this is plaguing me because if the series retires and the prices spike, I'll literally wallow in regret forever.
post your favorite parts (pic related)

New plan:
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Buzz, Alien, Stitch, and two Hooks (my friend and I just finished a philosophy course with Descartes in it so I thought it would be a nice gag gift for him and me)
Sitting on the fence for Ariel, Cheshire Cat, and Alice. I like the design for Ariel and I like Alice/Cat in all mediums, just not sure if they'd be satisfying in Lego form.
I'd be substantially indebted if people could give me comments/recommendations for them so I can make a decision by tomorrow.
>>5645922
They actually did Toy Story sets a few years back and essentially the whole cast of the first movie was released. Even an army builder set of the green army men. Wish I got more than one of those, because that set is actually nice with a jeep and custom base plates too.

Personally I've got Alice, which I'm mostly happy with aside from a slight misaligned mouth, but only noticeable if you go looking for it. Wondering if I can maybe call Lego and get a replacement. Aside from that she's well designed and the accessories are great. Potion bottle even has a tag saying "Drink me" printed on it.
Ariel and the cat I got expecting other ones, but they're solid designs too. The tail's a bit weird for me on ariel, but the rest is great. I have no complaints for the cat. Removable head even gives you some interesting scene potential, especially with Alice already.
Personally I'm seeking a buzz/alien myself, and if I happen into a Hook I'll grab it too to go with my peter pan. Shame the daggers aren't grey or chrome like pics suggested, but the rubbery golden style instead. Unless I got the wrong daggers and maybe could call lego up for that too.
Your choices seem pretty good for the priorities, and if you wanna get a few more probably have decent choices. Even if I am a bit biased to alice.
>Checked three stores for Disney CMF

Has anyone seen any in Europe yet?
How long does it take Lego to ship orders? Second day "in warehouse". All I wanted was to get back into legos ;_;
>>5646021
When did you place your order? There's some high volume of sales because of the may 4th promo.
>>5646023
Sunday so this is second working day.
>>5646025
If it makes you feel any better. I placed an order on Saturday and it hasn't left either. This is why I try not to order on weekends.
Win some.
Lose some.
Fuck.
>>5646027
And now, we wait.
>>5646025
I ordered stuff saturday and it just moved out this morning. Looks like it got processed at the shipping centre a little over an hour ago.
If you're in the US it should arrive within the week for sure. If it was in stock, anyway.

Is that silver surfer's handicapped cousin tin surfer or something?
>>5646051
>Tin Surfer
Pretty much.
Didnt even need the eraser method, I straight rubbed my thumb over his badly printed head and thats the result. MILDLY rubbed it, one swipe.
Chinks applied the ink on a glossy surface with no clear coat. /tg/ would have a FIELD DAY with that shit.
Id be fine with a blank head, but his body print is just as bad.....for about 60 cents, I cant fully complain, but this is one out of like a hundred chink orders......First real BAD order, Eh, just a little angry and drunk.
>>5645829
Lucky bastard, my local stores only have series 15 and fucking Simpsons.
>>5645300
i think you could use a pullback motor in the same way youd use an electric one, but you just have to disconnect it from the mechanism to unwind it, which is totally doable.
>Finally found Disney CMF
>pick two bags at random because they are at the checkout counter
>Aladdin and Pan
Great, two figs I had not too much interest in.
>>5645070
Nice job ano--...wait just a second
>>5644517
>no attempt at accurate set descriptions
Never change, Amazon.
I hardly ever get Garage Sale LEGO but I managed to snag this for $30 over the weekend. I had to piece it back together but that wasn't too hard.
>>5646151
Not a bad haul. Pretty good Hogwarts with minifigs, Endor bunker, and a toy story army man. Shame the army man doesn't have its baseplate, but for $30 that's great.
>>5645832
Oh, I don´t doubt it at all. Stumbled upon many examples during the years.
>>5645878
>muh fursecution
Nobody cares if you're a furfag. They just don't want to hear about it on /toy/.
I've finally recieved my bricklink orders ! ...Most of them anyway. The second version of my Flygon is now built with real pieces, and I'm mostly pretty happy with how it turned out. The neck, wings and hands need work, and there is some placeholders (mainly the black dinosaur tails on the back of the head, obviously). What does /lg/ thinks of the model so far ? I didn't get much feedback from the LDD model but would love to know what you like and what could be modified and made better.
>>5646036
ask those fuckers to send you a new one
>>5645426
Only good bumps codes are for now is to reduce the chances of getting doubles from the same batch. I use them when ever new series are out. My first pick ups I don't bother feeling them and just go with the bumps. After that I start feeling for the missing ones I didnt get.
>>5646218
I like it
>>5645379
>Ducks
For Donald, feel for the ribbon and round bottom of his hat.
>>5646218
Oh shit it's finally real!
Amazing job anon!
>>5646151
Whoa, you did really good with that. Anything Harry Potter-related seems to be super expensive, and they don't make blue baseplates anymore. It's suffering when you didn't get into HP until after all the movies were out and now you want some of the sets.
>>5646218
Clever way to cover up the mixel joints on the tail. It looks really good. The eyes are the only thing that bothers me. It might be just the glare though. It probably looks better in person.
>>5646218
looks good for something that isn't from original red or blue.
>>5645145
Hey, there's like 14 minifigs with tons of accessories. Be glad It's not $70+.
Also:

how does one get a shitload of those white bricks?
brick link? you can buy in bulk?

How can a channel so unorganize and uploading once every two months be comfy
>>5645145
Will it be available at LEGO stores, or just on S@H ?

Yeah, mine turned "complete" too. Too bad estimated delivery time to this part of EU is 6 days so no fun for the weekend!
>>5646480
Like Southern California, which would be mostly coffee, tarmac, tax papers, and the faint scent of marijuana from the guy two blocks down.

Is there something going on with the resolution or is it just that dusty?

I almost missed it. I was walking in the area and some woman just ahead of me picked up the tote it was in and wisked off. I just caught a glimpse of it.
Then I was waiting around while my daughter looked through clothes and the lady was trying to haggle the guy down because she wasn't sure all the pieces were there (they seem to be). She called someone and offered like $15. He declined and she left it.
I immediately went over and bought it. When she started haggling I almost went over to tell the guy I would give him $35 ($5 more than the marked price).
When checking out the clothes the guy told me the lady had come back to pay the $30.

I want to see Mr. Incredibles hair on normal heads.
Does anyone know if theres gonna be any freebies from Lego S@H soon?
I wanna buy a modular but you only get a freebie if you buy Star Wars

Yeah the crack... I got him used so it doesn't bother me, but I have enough new minifigs that have cracked from minimal use. Sucks. And hey, thanks for the design.
>>5646234
China dont work that way I dont think, especially for a 60 cent figure.
>>5644631
>Think any of them will make it?
no
but do i want any of them to make it? yes
the gingerbread house is cute but they had one like 1/3 that size last christmas
the dinosaurs would have a chance if it was individual bases and like no minifigs, similar to the science bitches set
and i really like old fishing store, but like that shits gunna fuckin happen
does brick queen make anyone else nauseous
Anyone /bricktsar/ here?
>>5646796
He's okay, mostly harmless.
Too bad his videos always puts me to sleep. His monotonous voice is even more boring than Jang's.
>>5645426
>>5645437
for a while, lego used one series of bump codes for the minifigs, so like shown on the picture there, if you found the bumps you spoke of, with two near the ends, you would be guarenteed to have found donald
i dont know which waves it was, but they relatively quickly realized "hey, this makes it massively fucking easy and scalping and shit" so they went to MULTIPLE sets of bump codes
theres either like, a set 10 sets of codes, which is more likely, but that means you would have 159 codes to eliminate to verify "this is donald", or they just change it after a set number of boxes, which would make it even harder to bump code
basically, it only still works IF you find a box in the same lot as the person AND the codes are the same, because even lot wouldn't mean they dont rotate codes

dude's an asshole who thinks he's better then anyone big but lacks any form of quality
him and afolman always make fun of jang on instagram and claim jang copied their reviews and that jang doesnt interact with them but their dicks so its no wonder why they dont

GET THE FUCK OUT THIS IS THE JANG THREAD
remember to take your pills /lg/ or the thread derails fast.
Should I try to part sets in order to add pieces to my BL inventory? That's probably faster but I always want to select some pieces for myself so I keep doing it manually.

>>5645268
>>5645274
thing is, it will be difficult,
you'll need to use cams on the axle,
(technic parts with a + hole would work best,)
best help would be to buy a wind up walking toy to dismantle for study,
pic relate is a good idea of what you'll find inside
Which one is worse: These threads turning into bootleg generals, or into youtube e-celeb worship?
At least the former concerns stuff that is similar to actual lego.
Anyway, does someone know what's the brand/model of the Hitler minifig? If I ever get a bootleg it would be that, and that only.
>>5646877
That Maggie in a classic space outfit is adorable.
Jang looks like he just spent the last 10 years locked in a sex dungeon.
>>5646867
I would gladly buy an official Lego set that uses a wind up system/motor gimmicks effectively to study how such things work. Is there a good cheap set for beginners?
>>5646877
e-celeb worship.
even bootlego is honestly still in the ballpark of the spirit of a building block general
>>5646243
Thanks !
>>5646254
Thanks, I'm still not 100% satisfied with it, but It's still better than the first version and has a more organic look.
>>5646272
I see what you mean, the eyes are far from perfect, since you can see the limits of the transparent orange piece from some angles. I'll take more pictures once I'll have the last pieces in hand.
>>5646300
Thanks.
What do you think of this, mates?
