I actually remember buying those Water Minicons in France in a set pack with Armada Hoist, Terrorsaur and I think the Emergency Minicon team from a French store when I went there to France in 2004.

I think Sixshot is gonna be Leader class simply for remolding purpose.
Greatshot's head has spikes, so he would need the helmet gimmick in order to work as a headmaster.
Titans Return Nautica is going to be a Blurr remold according to the leakers. Also a new Perceptor and Sixshot is indeed a leader class.

Nah. Armada was certainly a mixed bag which ranged from brick to backflips, but Tidal Wave's somewhere in the middle. Elbows and some great shoulders, and even a bit of ankle work - but no knees, unless you want them bending sideways and having Tidal Rickets

Not that the dark gray and purple doesn't look good, I'm just a sucker for black and white color schemes.
That and having a decepticon with much different colors than a usual decepticon will look cool with the rest in my opinion.

In all honesty I prefer the US toy colors. The anime colors are kinda bland and generic Decepticon. Hasbro's are unique and feel a bit more aquatic to me. Plus the Armada game is my definitive armada experience, and they used Hasbro's colors.

About 20 minutes from each of those shows. I think Transformers Zone wins overall due to it just being an OVA, thus it got to low its budget in one go, rather than center it to certain scenes like the others. 2D animation hasn't been kind to Transformers.

You'll need a pin punch less than 1 mm in diameter, a mallet, and a soldering iron to deal with flat riveted parts. There are guides online on how to deal with both pin types.
Also, you'll need a small screwdriver set (duh) and maybe a blowdryer if you have one laying around to heat up and pop off balljoints that won't come off easily. Hot water can work too.

I think that a lot of toys have the same or near the same levels of articulation.
The only real difference at this point is MP's just having a bigger budget so they can do fancier transformations in an effort to be more G1 accurate.

We'll get plenty of G2 homages, so long as you mean homages to the G1 repaints in the line. See, the CW G2 box sets, G2 MP Bumblebee and Lambor, and so on. We are getting a new Laser Prime, though; albeit one that looks worse than the original toy.
New toys of original G2 characters are less certain. Unfortunately there was no original G2 cartoon so nostalgia for it isn't as strong.I don't think we'll ever get a big G2 revival. Especially when more popular series like Beast wars and armada barely get new stuff.

we did get the deluxe laser Prime and Dreadwing. Thing is, there weren't that many new molds in G2 to start with, and even fewer of them were the newer articulated body type. Some could easily be done as repaints.
