I'm planning on getting it soon just to have it alongside my Green and Red jackets.
I don't really like his face, it seems a bit off. It looks too long, especially with his mouth and nose. It's longer proportionally than the Green jacket revoltech, which seems to be a major inspiration for the series in general.
Nevertheless, I'm glad this is being followed up with a Zenigata figure as well as a Goemon, finally.

He had a long face in the anime, but I do agree his face is off. I think it's the sculpting in the lips. Sticks out too far. Wish the hair was dark brown instead of black like in the anime. Although his hair does look black sometimes due the lighting.

Those Lupin heads don't look half bad, but I still wish the hair was brown so it would be anime accurate.

Here are my suggestions
Watch the 1st and 2nd TV series. You can watch the 3rd series only if you really like the 2nd series. it's more of the same but a tad bit more cartoony and a different art style. You dont have to watch all of the 2nd series. There are a lot of episodes and they are episodic.When you've felt you've watched enough of the 2nd series start watching the movies. These are the ones I highly recommend

you can also check out the 4th series which is the newest series and it's great.
There is no main storyline to these shows so you dont have to worry about which to watch 1st or missing out on something. Although there is a story to the 4th series but most episodes are episodic. There is also a spinoff prequel series called the Woman Called Fujiko Mine which is also great but that has a story arc also, but i do not suggest you watch that 1st because it is a lot different than any other Lupin project it's much darker. Still worth watching. I'd say watch it after you'ved already finished the 1st series, and after you've watched a couple movies.
Just do what I tell you, and you'll be fine.

In Japanese his name is written ルパン, three letters which in romaji are RU, PA and N, and that's how it's pronounced in Japanese. Rupan.
To be more specific, Japanese doesn't have a pure R or L sound, they have a sound that's in between those two. So letters containing that sound (ra - ri - ru - re - ro) can sometimes sound closer to R or L, though more often it leans R if it's not exactly between the two. As for your question, if the Blue Jacket Lupin sells well, I imagine green jacket is probably the next release.
To be quite honest though, Blue Jacket may not even need to sell that well because they have the exact body mold for a Lupin figure. All they would need to do is repaint it, add a new headsculpt, and maybe a few new accessories. I imagine this process would be rather cheap because they wouldnt need a new mold for the body, legs, arms, feet, and hands. I'd say the possibilities of getting a Green Jacket Lupin would be quite high, as well as the other jacket colors.
You know what would be cool? if they put out a green jacket Lupin and for the accessories, it would come with a few extra heads that are in the likeness of him from Castle of Cagliostro.

Just opened up the figure. It's beautiful. Not seeing a display stand though. I thought Figuarts came with them?
I'm surprised to see how dark the grey pants are. Was expecting to be closer to white. Wish they'd had some sort of Brown wash for the hair instead of just straight black considering in the anime it's brown.
Overall 8/10 figure. Probably the best Lupin figure we've ever gotten that isn't a statue.
